The 3rd Generation

The 3rd Generation
Chapters. 182

Faith arrives in Las Vegas when the sky is dark. After arriving at the airport the woman now does not know where to go. He wants to meet Dominic but not for now. Faith wanted to calm her mind first before meeting Dominic. The cold night made him want to immediately find a place to rest. Faith was hungry too. He checked his pocket. There's a bill Leona gave for Faith to survive until she gets a job later.

Faith watched the people passing by in front of her. Of the few people who passed Faith knew that there were some of Dominic's men who were now watching him carefully. But Faith did not care much, the woman immediately stepped towards the taxi that was waiting for her in front. There is no luggage because Faith does not have any items.

"I must go in immediately so as not to be caught by Dominic's men" Faith murmured inwardly.

Before entering. As he opened the taxi door, a man grabbed Faith by the hand and prevented her from getting into the taxi. Faith looked at the strapping man standing beside her.

"Who are you?" faith asked with her innocent face even though the woman actually knew that the man standing before her was a Domimic's man.

"Come with me because someone wants to see you" the man said without introducing himself.

Faith took off her hand and turned her face away. "Tell Dominic that I'll see him myself. He didn't have to bother to force me to meet him in this way. I need some time alone. I am now in Las Vegas. Wherever I hide you will find me. For now I want to be alone" Faith said earnestly, leaving the man unable to force any more.

"Well, if that's what you want. But I hope you can hold your word. Meet Dominic's boss soon. Otherwise I will meet you and drag you by force" said the man threateningly. From his attitude and tone he no longer respects Faith even though he knows that Faith is a woman who had been loved and made his boss crazy. Now that guy hates Faith.

Faith got into the cab. The woman looked at the well-built man for a moment before giving the taxi driver an order up front for the road.

After Faith's cab drove off fast, the man immediately grabbed his phone from inside his pocket. He punched Dominic's number and stuck his phone in his ear.

"Tell Dominic's boss that Miss Faith refused to see him. He needs time to be alone. Later Miss Faith herself will meet Dominic's boss," the man said as he was. After that he turned off the phone call and put his phone again in his pocket. The man returned to his duty.

Inside the taxi, Faith wiped away the tears that had suddenly dripped down her face. Upon arriving in Las Vegas, Zion's shadow haunts her. It felt increasingly claustrophobic as it got further away from Zion. Before that feeling did not exist.

"I've been played with my own feelings. Now I don't know what else to do. I've forced everyone to hate me" Faith murmured inwardly. Without realizing Faith that the taxi driver who now takes her is a bad person. Seeing Faith look so chaotic makes the taxi driver want to trap Faith somewhere.

"Miss, you seem very sad. Are you having a problem?" ask the taxi driver to get closer.

"none. I'm just tired" lied Faith.

The taxi driver took the mineral water in front of him and gave it to Faith.

"Drink Miss so that you are much calmer. It's not good if you cry like that."

The unsuspecting Faith immediately took the mineral water and opened the lid. Without a second thought the woman gulped down the contents slowly then closed the lid again and placed it forward. The woman looked towards the window to enjoy the beautiful night view.

"Well, why are my eyes suddenly sleepy? Is it because I'm too tired?" mumbled Faith while massaging her own shoulders.

Not long after, Faith felt very sleepy. His head feels so dizzy. Faith struggled to keep her eyes open. But still his eyes closed until finally he was unconscious and fell asleep in a taxi.

The taxi driver in front smiled slylyly as his plan had worked. The man wanted to take Faith somewhere very quiet. "Stupid woman" the taxi driver muttered with a grinning smile.
