Chapter 127
Selena was thinking something. He patted Fane on the shoulder from behind. "wait. Stop that!"
Fane immediately braked his scooter and pulled over. "Why?"
"And Jameson was a great fighter, but he didn't even punch you. He apologized to you."
"He told Meyer that you were someone that not even Ken Clark could touch you. Wh why? Who the hell are you?"
Selena asked, her face turning sullen. He suspects Fane.
Fane smiled wryly after hearing that. "I'm a war veteran; that's why. And it's been against me once before, even though it wasn't a great fight. We bet by way of a panco shootout. He lost and cut his own finger because he knew his strength was nothing compared to mine. I must admit that this man is a real man. That's why Ken Clark is afraid of me..."
Fane paused for a moment before continuing, "Let's imagine. Even the best fighters from the Clark family are no match for me. Isn't it natural that Ken Clark is afraid of me? Was he not afraid that I would eliminate him? I have the power to do it!"
Panco fight?
Selena had a strange expression. She never expected her husband would use such a means to prove his strength to others.
"M-hm! I just left after he lost. I never expected that person to actually cut his finger. Let's just say tonight I didn't kill Meyer as a pardon to preserve her dignity."
Fane spoke while nodding his head.
"You're amazing, my husband!"
Selena saw the face of her husband. He then said, "The man named Dan was a real man, but unfortunately he followed the wrong master. Ken is definitely one of the worst humans I've ever known. He wasn't that bad before, but I finally figured out how that guy really became a monster after he tried to destroy our house with his men!"
Slowly, his gaze swept over Selena's pink lips. "Darling, why don't we have another child?" she said tease.
"I was so drunk that night, five years ago. I can hardly remember what happened. All I remember is that you started the act!" fane said recalling their first night five years ago.
Selena's cheeks instantly blushed. "Don't talk about that again. So embarrasing. I was angry at my grandfather back then because he married me to someone I didn't know. Even though it was a fake wedding, it was still a wedding, right. How could I, Selena Taylor, pretend to be married?"
"I'm sorry, I wanted to save my mother. I have no choice but to do that."
Fane slowly exhaled. "Don't worry, Selena. It's okay if you regretted our marriage five years ago. You don't have to say anything; I understand. And don't worry I'll have a big wedding reception for you!"
Selena pressed her lips. "alright. I'll hold your word."
Then Selena thought of something else. "But Grandpa's 70th birthday is just around the corner" he said, grumbling. "My mother also insisted on collecting your prize money. We'll get in trouble if we can't get that amount of money. You just started working, and the fastest chance you'll get a paycheck is in a few days. Looks like we can't bring money right on grandpa's birthday."
"Don't worry, honey. It doesn't matter if money solves the problem!"

"What's? You're all getting beat up?"
An old man stood in a villa, with white hair adorning the middle of his head. He looked at the tattooed man in front of him. "Who is he? Who would dare to defeat my men? Does he have a desire to die?"
Seriate....
Thank you
