Inside the Drake Dynasty Real Estate office of Drake Group, Selena happened to be relaxing while drinking a cup of coffee.
The recent operation for the company went quite smoothly, so there was not much he could do.
While enjoying his free time, he realizes it is almost lunchtime when Ken comes looking for him.
After knocking on the door and getting permission to enter, Ken entered with a newly picked flower.
"Young Master Ken?"
Selena looked disgusted when she saw Ken.
However, he still smiled at her as he said, "What are you doing here, Young Master Ken? You're not gonna ask for a collaboration with our company right now, are you? If I don't remember wrongly, your company has absolutely nothing to do with construction!"
Ken laughs. He handed the flower to her as he said, "Fane is nothing more than an ordinary soldier, a rude man who has no true thoughts is not worthy of you. He must be illiterate. Why was he the delivery guy back then, right? It's too embarrassing for you to stay with him!"
Upon realizing Selena's silence, she continued, "Just accept me. I assure you, I will treat you and your daughter very well. I swear I'll treat your daughter like my own!"
"I'm sorry, Young Master Ken. Save this flower for other women. I believe there are many beautiful women out there who want to receive flowers from you. Besides, you're rich and handsome. You are undoubtedly the dream man for some women out there!"
Selena did not receive the flower. He used to think that Ken was pretty decent. However, after Fane returns, he realizes that Ken is truly a terrible person.
Ken took a few people with him to destroy their home by force. If he were truly a gentleman, he would never use such a devious method.
Ken realized Selena would not receive the flowers even after a long wait. He chuckled awkwardly before putting a flower on the other end of the table.
He paused after saying that and continued, "However, I am loyal to you. You know it. In my eyes, other women aren't even a small part of you!"
"really? If you ask me, I think the harder it is for you to get something, the more you want to have it, right? Aren't you all like that?"
Selena chuckled coldly and said, "Young Master Ken, please don't bother me anymore. It's impossible for us to be together. Not to mention, my husband was very kind to me. I have a daughter too, so I'm quite satisfied with my life. So, please, I hope you'll never bother me again!"
"Your husband is good to you?"
Ken chuckled coldly as he said, "If he's so good to you, why would he look for that rich woman? I thought you were too naive and didn't know that a man was lying to you!"
"Wealthy woman?"
Selena frowned when she heard the word.
He then asked, "Why are you spouting such baseless nonsense again, Ken?"
"Baseless empty muzzle?"
Ken laughed as he said, "Selena, you don't know exactly what Fane is. You don't understand it enough. How well did you know her before you married her? You didn't realize it at all, did you? He registered on the second day of your marriage and that departure took five years!"
