Jessica stopped her steps then turned her head and found Laurent standing beside her while looking at her with his innocent gaze.

"So pretty aunt is a doctor?" ask Lauren.

Jessica nodded, then she knelt down and aligned her height with Lauren, looking at her so gently. Somehow Jessica's heart felt so warm when she saw the little girl's shady gaze.

"Your name is Lauren, right? Lauren, there's no need to be sad and scared anymore. Because papa, Lauren's fine and she's past her critical period."
