The One Night Love Tragedy

The One Night Love Tragedy
Season2 (Chapter 19)

The weather today is not friendly. The thunder of lightning roared violently. The sky which is usually accompanied by a bright smile the sun now looks dark covered with clouds of black, carrying rain and falling wet the surface of the ground to make the streets flooded. Some people prefer to be in the house rather than having to deal with splashing rainwater.

A woman who had been standing in front of her bedroom window kept grumbling to see the speck of rain from the tightly shut window.

The millions of drops of water that descended from the sky looked like silver threads that continued unceasingly, creating a beautiful impression against the background of a gray sky. Gurgling water droplets sound faint from the window frame gap to add perfection to the feel of rain.

It is no secret that Luna always hated the coming of the Rain. The rain made her feel upset, sad and sometimes carried a heartache. The rain trapped him so that there was no activity that Luna could do other than sit still or stand in silence while staring at the rain.

Rain at night does not tell anything except the smell of petrichor carried by the wind and greet the ventilation, before finally inhaled by the respiratory organs.

The white yard is still filled with drops of water on each grass. While the tanned soil wet under the green grass emits a petrichor aroma that is too thick to soar into the air, creating a faint white mist that is barely caught by human netra.

The color between black and white still envelops some corners of the sky, refracting grimly to the earth that has not been left behind by rain.

Luna will never hesitate to declare with pride to the world that she is the scent-hater of Petrichor Number 1.

At times some women will declare that they like the rain and the smell of wet soil that rain leaves.

But not with that woman.

Luna hates the scent of earth and air after the rain. Hated him wholeheartedly. Hating for a reason that he himself does not understand, just like he who does not understand why people adore strange scents even give a name to the faint mist that pollutes the air and its respiratory organs.

"Luna," the sound of the air-borne bell-tub suddenly shook his auditorium, forcing him to willingly remove his attention from the view of the rain outside the window.

Luna turned her head, her binary stopped at a pair of sharp gray neutrals that she was very familiar with walking up to her. "Is there anything interesting?" ask that person who is definitely Kevin.

Luna shook her head. "Nothing." Answer's short.

Kevin wrapped both his hands around Luna's stomach and placed his chin over her right shoulder. "Do you still hate the rain?" Luna nodded. "Why?"

"Because the rain took you away from my side. First mom, then you. Even if you're finally back, but still every time I remember that moment makes my chest feel claustrophobic."

"And now I'll make it up to you. I'll always be by your side no matter what, I won't leave you, no matter what reason I'll always be by your side." Kevin said as he tightened his embrace.

Luna raised her face and noticed what Kevin was wearing. Long pants and black singlet. "Are you not feeling cold?" Luna glanced at Kevin.

The young man did not answer and just kept looking at him. Making Luna feel nervous half to death. "Why look at me like that?" he said half blushed. Kevin and his position face each other.

Kevin grinned. "Don't we always find a way to warm ourselves up?" Kevin's hand moved. Falling right at Luna's waist, encircling the man's waist before pulling her closer.

The movement further slashed the existence of distance between them. Two different colors they wear. Luna raised her face. Kevin looked.

Once too accustomed and as if having telepathy when the two lips meet. Tempting the rain that keeps falling out there. Warming the piercing cold.

They just finished what they started an hour ago. Kevin dropped his head, hiding his face around Luna's neck. Inhaling deeply the scent of cherry blossoms that were emanating from the woman's body. The aroma he loved.

Luna's wiggly fingers clasped Kevin's fingers. Their fingers are interlocked, so that the words that often come out of his thin lips constantly come out again for the next time.

"I love you, Luna Lu." Whisper Kevin and again clenched Luna's thin lips, short.

The wind was shaking the window curtains behind them, answering everything. The corner of the lip was pulled upwards forming a beautiful arch on her beautiful face. "I love you too" replied Luna and sprinkled into her husband's arms.

"Sleep. You must be tired, I'm also very tired." Whisper Kevin and tighten his arms. A kiss on his forehead and a swab on his innocent back instantly sent Luna into dreamland.

"Morning, Pa, Ma." Greet Laurent upon his arrival at the dinner table.

Jessica who was busy arranging food on the table looks squinting at the face of her daughter. And without asking any further, Jessica should know why Laurent looks so happy.

"You didn't eat breakfast?" reprimanding Rey sees Laurent who just gulps her milk.

"Later outside, Pa. Sean took me to breakfast outside. I'm almost late. Ma, Pa, I'm leaving first." Pamit Laurent and just leave.

After Laurent's departure. In the house, it's just Rey and Jessica. Even though they are no longer young. But they always look harmonious. Be it in front of the kids or when the kids aren't around. Rey always showed her warm side when she was with Jessica, the woman who had given her two great children.

"What do you see, Rey? You can punch me in the face if you keep looking at me like that. We'd better have breakfast now. Don't you have to go to the office after this,"

"Hn, you're right. Yeah, let's have breakfast together." Jessica smiled and nodded.

Their breakfast passed quietly. There was no conversation between the two of them. Both Rey and Jessica chose to remain silent. Only the sound of spoons and forks touching each other.

Since marriage. Not once did they get into a fight that ended fatally, although small debates often color the togetherness of the two of them. Mutual arguments that only further strengthen their relationship.

And Jessica feels so lucky to have a husband like Rey. She was not sure if her life would be the way it is today if the person who married her was not the man who is now her husband.
