Chapter 33

Marni sat alone on the bench on the sidelines and did not stop crying. His heart ached for what Gita and Gena had done. Marni has tried her best to be kind to both of them and accept both as her friends. But, Gita and Gena actually returned the good with bad, even defamation and make him shunned by his friends. Haikal felt sorry for Marni, had to bear the consequences of actions that Marni had never done. Haikal walked up to Marni and sat down beside her.

"Marni, don't be sad like that, I'm sure one day the Gita will get karma for his actions and usually his retribution will be more painful than he has done" Haikal said confidently.

"Marni, horrified me well, you can't be sad anymore, you must always be cheerful, there I am near you and I will always try to make you smile, okay" Haikal looked at Marni, while holding both hands. For some reason, Marni feels comfortable every time Haikal is next to her. Marni feels happiness and slowly she likes Haikal, along with their friendship that has been established since Junior High and often they are together.

"duh.... I'm so, deg-degan gini well, let alone Haikal staring at me like this" Marni's inner. From a distance, Gena saw Marni and Haikal sitting alone on the sidelines. Gena restrains Gita, who wants to go to the cafeteria and tells her what she saw.

"What the hell is it, Gen? I'm going to the cafeteria, I'm hungry" Gita's a little upset, her steps held back by Gena.

"Git, you see it there" Gena pointed to the field. Gita follows Gena's index finger and Gita sees Marni and Haikal in tandem. Gita looks angry and does not like to see them together.

"This can't be allowed, I don't want Haikal and Marni close like that, I'll do everything I can to keep them both away, because I'm the only one who has the right to have Haikal" Gita said, clenching his hands, angry.

"Do we ask her mother to tell Marni to stay away from Haikal" Gena suggested. Gita nodded her head, a sign that she agreed with the proposal. They immediately went to the cafeteria and met Marni's mother.

"What do you want to buy, son?" Ask, when Gita and Gena came.

"Mom, please let me know that mother's son, Marni, to stay away from Haikal, because Haikal is my girlfriend and I don't like it when there are other girls who are close to him" said Gita.

"If Marni is close to Haikal is okay, they are friends in one class too, who knows if we are talking about lessons" replied Marni's mother.

"You don't have to be too jealous, son, there will be even a mess of your relationship, the point is you have to instill confidence in your partner, if you believe in your partner, it's a healthy relationship" marni's mother gave Gita advice.

"Mom, I just want you to know to the mother's son to stay away from Haikal, why mom even lecture me like a gini" Gita was upset.

"I don't want to know anyway, I have to keep the Marni knowing, just be careful otherwise I will make you feel uncomfortable in this cafeteria" Gita threatened her, then Gita and Gena left. Marni's mother just shook her head looking at Gita's attitude, smiling and thinking it was a funny thing to see. But, it seems that Marni's mother did not bother with Gita's remarks and did not want to interfere in the Gita's problems with Marni, her son.

The more days, Later and Haikal get closer, even they both quite often go home together and make Gita more upset to see him.

"This is why Haikal and Marni are getting closer! Piss them off" Gita growled.

"Don't let Marni's mother not tell Marni again, so they're getting closer" Gena guessed.

"If left like this continues, they can be so, Git" continued Gena. Gita goes back to Marni's mother and wants to confirm what she said a few days ago.

"What's up, kid? You come even angry, we can talk about this well" Marni's mother tried to calm Gita.

"This mother, I told you, I know Marni to stay away from Haikal, why they're getting so close now!" Jerky Marni. The other students who were hanging out in the cafeteria, set their eyes on Gita who was scolding her mother Marni.

"Woy! The gita! You even snapped at Mira's mother like that, which is polite dong!" One of the students spoke up.

"Ehh...! Silence you! This is none of your business!" Gita pointed her index finger at the student.

"Son, I don't want to interfere with your business with Marni, just you two finish it, because I don't have anything to mix it up" he replied. Gita gets more upset and to vent her anger, she drops Marni's mother's merchandise on the table to the floor and everything falls apart, and then Gita and Gena rush out of the cafeteria. The students who were hanging out, helped Marni's mother clean up her merchandise that fell scattered.

"Mom, are you okay?" Ask one of the students to make sure of the situation.

"Mom's okay, son, thank you all for helping" he said. The students nodded.

"Lohs... Mom, mom why, how messy are you selling?" Marni asked, as she came and saw her mother's wares falling apart.

"This is Gita, Gita who ruffled your mother's merchandise until it fell apart on the floor" chirped one of the students.

"Gita! How can!" Marnie looks confused.

"So, just now Gita and Gena came here and were angry with your mother, getting rid of everything" he explained. Hearing that, Marni was so angry and did not accept her mother being treated like that by Gita.

"I have to take her, just as she does this to mom" Marni's anger starts to overflow.

"Son, no, you don't have to take him, which will make things worse and the problem will grow longer" prevented his mother, when Marni was about to go to see Gita.

"Mothers are also okay, mending you who relented and follow what Gita wants" continued his mother.

"What does he want, Mom?" Marni asked curiously.

"He wants you to keep your distance from Haikal because he doesn't like it when you're close to his girlfriend" his mother replied.

"He said that to mom?" Haikal. Marni's mother nodded. Marni seems confused choosing between keeping her distance from Haikal and holding back her feelings for Haikal for the safety of her mother selling in the cafeteria. It does not rule out the possibility of Gita will do more reckless or ignore what Gita wants and make her mother uncomfortable because of Gita's actions. Marni thought, which one should she choose.
