Trouble Maker

Trouble Maker
Chapter 35

Some people sitting in the ICU waiting room did not stop reading the do'a so that Tina could pass her critical period. There were also her tears, Gita one of them. She looked so sad and was enveloped in guilt for making her mother angry and experiencing the unwanted. Yanto rested Gita's head on his shoulders, trying to calm him down. Doctors went in and out of the ICU a few times without saying anything about the patient. Just beckoning to stay calm and wishing the best for the patient.

Two hours later, the doctor came out again. Everyone who had been waiting, approached the doctor and was ready to hear what he said.

"Dok, how's my mom doing? He can be saved! You're healing, doc! Answer....!" Gita was impatient and pulled the doctor's suit and made the doctor's body interested. The doctor gestured for Gita to calm down and listen in advance.

"Father, mother and brothers, we the hospital has tried our best, but, the possibility of Tina's mother recovering is dwindling, only a miracle from God can save her life" light of the doctor.

"Tina's mother asked me to call Mr. Yanto, her husband, he wanted to tell you something" he continued. Yanto followed the doctor's steps, walked into the ICU room.

"Mas Yanto, if I'm not around, please take good care of Gita well, even though she's not our real child, but, I want you to still love her with all your heart" Tina said.

"Yes, Tin, I promise you, you must be strong for the sake of Gita, you can definitely heal" Yanto shed his tears. Tina shook her head slowly. He seemed to know that his age was not long. Slowly Tina's eyes closed, accompanied by a rather powerful blow, lost her pulse and Tina was gone for good. Yanto's tears poured down his cheeks.

"May you be quiet in nature" Yanto stroked Tina's head gently and kissed her forehead. Gita follows her father to the ICU. Gita is still not moving. He just sobbed and shaken his shoulders. It's as if Gita can't believe her mother left her that soon. His other close family, hugging the sad sobbing Gita.

"You are steadfast well, son, you must sincerely accept it" he said as he held Gita in his arms.

Her mother's funeral was completed. One by one, the guests leave the cemetery. However, the Gita has not moved. He was still squatting next to his mother's grave, crying incessantly.

"Mom, if I had known, if it was the last time I'd see you, I wouldn't have upset you and held back the anger you're so damned at heart, until now it could be as I see it" Gita seemed to be sorry about what she did to her mother a few hours ago.

Her mother's funeral was completed. One by one the preachers left the cemetery. The Gita doesn't want to move. He was still squatting next to his mother's meal, as she unceasingly shed her tears.

"Mom, no one helps me anymore when I do schoolwork, no more friends I confide in when I have problems, no one teaches me cooking, dad can't possibly, no more, dad is busy with his work" Gita pours out his heart.

"Son, let's go home, just one more night, come on, son" Yanto grabbed Gita's shoulder and guided her out of the cemetery. Along the way to his house, Gita more silent, even eating he did not want.

...*****...

Day after day, Gita slowly returns to her usual, cheerful and begins to accept the reality she faces. His father also looks very happy to see Gita can smile again, cheerful as before.

"This is the new father's son, who is always smiling, cheerful, happy to see him, son" Yanto looked at Gita with a smile.

"Yes, well, I realize that life has to go on, indeed I am very sad about the passing of my mother, but, I do not want to dissolve in sadness, I do not want to be sad, because I believe God has another plan behind this and will be replaced with happiness" said Gita.

"What you say is true, son, the sadness and happiness come in turn in our lives" Yanto confirmed Gita's remarks.

"Well... There it is, it has come" Gita got up from her seat.

"You're off on an online motorcycle? You don't want to take a car?" Ask Yanto.

"Good, today, I again wanted to ride an online motorcycle taxi, yes, well, I went to school first yah" Gita said goodbye to Yanto and left.

"I'm happy to be back in school again after mom's departure. I have to study hard, in order to graduate with the best grades and make you proud to see me from there" said Gita.

"duh.... Glad to see you go to school again" Gena approached Gita, as he watched her walk down the corridor. Gita looked over and immediately hugged her.

"Genas! I swear I miss you" Gita smiled happily.

"What news is there, as long as I don't get in these few days? Is there any hot news or what?" Gita wondered curiously, as they walked hand in hand towards her class.

"The latest and make a scene throughout school, Haikal and Marni soan? Yesterday Haikal shot Marni during sports lessons yesterday" Gena replied.

"Well! Haikal and Marni are together? It's just you, Gen" Gita doesn't seem to believe what he's hearing.

"Right, Git, I saw for myself when Haikal shot the Marni" Gena assured Gita.

"But, yes, Haikal likes girls like Marni, village girls, what special try he until Haikal can like the Marni, Marni, I don't know what kind of girl Haikal likes" Gita seems annoyed when she finds out that Haikal and Marni are.

"Well... At least the girl is not much different from me, if Marni anyway, far away, between heaven and earth" continued Gita with a cynical tone.

"Git, that's him, Marni, he brought something like that, that's got to go to Haikal" Gena guessed. Without much ado, Gita and Gena walk towards Marni and intercept her steps.

"Eh... Gena, Gita" Marni stops while Gena and Gita are right in front of her.

"I'm happy, Git, to finally see you go to school again" Marni smiled.

"Don't talk about it!" Gita said with an unhappy face.

"Listen to hear that there is something new to be with Haikal" Gita smiled as she walked around Marni.

"You want a rival to me! You're self-conscious, Marni, you're just a canteen guard kid, you don't deserve to date Haikal, because Haikal fits just like me" Gita stared intently at Marni. Marni was silent when she heard Gita's words.
