A luxury car enters the grounds of a magnificent and luxurious mansion in a classic European style. The driver got down and walked around to the passenger seat door.

He opened the door of the luxury car and helped the lady to sit in her wheelchair. The driver helped Ruby enter the luxury mansion after Aunt Lili opened the door.

"Aunt Lili, please help me to the room! I'm so tired today, Bi."

"Okay, Madam."

Lili's aunt takes over Ruby's wheelchair and pushes her to Ruby's downstairs room. While passing through the living room, Ruby was surprised by the arrival of two women of different ages. One looks socialite with beautiful clothes like royalty. About half a century old is none other than Ruby's in-law, Alex's mother.

The other one is a young man with a beautiful face, slim body like a model. The young lady was wearing a sexy dress that scored a large slender body on certain parts.

Ruby was stunned to find the arrival of her mother-in-law. She had not seen her husband's mother for a long time.

With a happy smile Ruby approached her in-laws. However, the reply from the sincere smile he developed was the cynical and scornful look of the middle-aged woman.

"Mama's here?" Ruby spread her arms to hug her mother-in-law.

"Curtain! Don't touch me!" turn down Ruby's mother-in-law harshly. "I'm just here to see Alex, not you!" joked the mother-in-law.

Ruby could only be quiet and down because her mother-in-law did not like her

"Kasian my son Alex has to take care of a disabled wife like you. I never liked you before. You're just a filthy rich girl, spoiled and careless! For marrying you, my son Alex should be booed by people out there. They all thought Alex was just a bitch in your family. It should be Alex who should take over all your inheritance business. And you as a wife should respect your husband, not be silent!" said Ruby's mother-in-law loudly and full of anger.

"Basic disabled wife useless!" added the woman who made Ruby's heart slit.

"Get your word, Madame Lemi!" Aunt Lili doesn't accept any of Alex's mother's insults. He interrupted Alex's mother.

"What?! You shouldn't have to interfere! You're here just a lowly servant!" reply Alex's mother fiercely.

"Auntie!" Ruby shook her head, gesturing to Aunt Lili who was completely unfinished to reply to Alex's mother.

"Mama take it easy! Ruby's been taking care of transferring the heirs' names to Daddy's lawyer. Maybe tomorrow Ruby will announce to all the shareholders that Alex will be heir to all of Daddy's assets."

"really?"

"Yes, Mama."

"Good! Your husband should take care of it. Didn't you, Alex took care of all the companies and is now more successful?! So Alex is the one who has the right to take over everything."

"Yes, Mama." Ruby can only resign for the sake of the integrity of the household and for Alex of course.

While the woman who was with Alex's mother only listened and occasionally smiled cynically.

Now Ruby's gaze moved to the beautiful woman who came with her in-laws.

"Who is she, Mama?" Ruby asked treating her curiosity, she felt like she had met this woman, but where? Inner Ruby. "Have we met, Miss?" Because her in-laws were silent, Ruby asked directly.

"Lexi," the woman replied, cold and cynical.

"You, Alex's relative?" Ruby asked in surprise. To his knowledge, Alex's family is only the mother.

"Come, Mama!" answer Lexi. The two women then got up from their seats.

"Mama?" great-granddaughter Ruby.

"Eh, disabled son-in-law!" alex's mother jolts Ruby from her daydream.

"Mrs Lemi, watch your words!" Aunt Lili was infuriated by Alex's mother's abusive words.

"What?! You don't accept I call him a cripple?"

"That's it, Mama, let's go home! I'm sick of being here."

"Come on!"

They also stepped out arrogantly without saying goodbye and excuse me. Aunt Lily could only catch her breath, while Ruby was still digesting all the movements of her mother-in-law with the woman.

"Take me to the room now, Bi!" Ruby who was tired of thinking also asked to go to the room to rest.

Ruby hasn't slept, still thinking about the woman who was with Alex's mother. He suspected all the closeness of his mother-in-law to the woman.

"Well! I have to fight for my happiness, as Daddy said. My happiness is Alex! So I had to give it up for my love and happiness with Alex." Ruby spoke to herself while staring at the ceiling of her room.

"Alex, where are you? I miss you, Lex."

Ruby missed Alex so much that she shed tears. He stroked the side of the empty bed where Alex used to sleep.
