Chapter 16

Alex's car is now driving towards the cliff where Ruby and her parents used to have an accident. Along the way Ruby continued to sob lamenting her fate.

He never thought Alex was so willing to do this to him, tricking him with a love and sweet attitude that could make Ruby fall in love so he was willing to do anything for Alex Graham.

"Daddy, Mommy, wait for Ruby! Ruby's tired of Daddy, Ruby wants to catch up with Daddy and Mommy." Ruby continued to cry over her fate.

Alex continues to drive forward his luxury sports car, entering the forest surrounded by tall trees. Meanwhile, Aunt Lili's cab follows Alex's car from behind. Aunt Lili's feelings were not lost when Alex's car entered the forest in the cliff area of the cliff.

"Oh my God, save Mrs Ruby" muttered Aunt Lili worriedly.

Now Alex's car stops at the edge of a high cliff. Alex got out of the car, still with his dark aura. Alex violently opens the back baggage door. He pulls Ruby's arm violently, hurls it to the ground and drags Ruby to the edge of the cliff.

Alex becomes the god of death for Ruby. The feeling of compassion disappeared somewhere. There is no pity for his wife. All Alex had in mind was to finish Ruby off right now to satisfy the anger she had been craving all along.

"Goodbye to this world, dear Ruby, for soon I will send you to your two parents." Alex said with a murderous aura and a terrifying glare.

Alex opens the duct tape that closes Ruby's mouth and opens the rope in Ruby's hands and feet. Ruby who was trembling in fear, dragged her feet back to dodge Alex who was currently walking slowly towards Ruby.

"Don't Alex! Please let me go! I'm innocent, I didn't push Lexi, but ...." With a trembling tone Ruby pleaded with Alex and told her the truth.

Uncompleted Ruby spoke, Alex pulled Ruby's hair and dragged her over to the edge of the cliff. He pressed Ruby's head on the edge of the cliff.

"Please, Lex, let me go!" Ruby did not stop crying and begging.

"I won't let you go, Ruby darling, we'll play around for a while before I throw you off the top of here." A wicked grin is seen on Alex's lips.

"You know, Ruby, I've been trying to kill you for a long time, but I'm holding her back because I haven't gotten all of Pattinson's estate. So now is the time for me to kill you, Damn girl!"

Alex said with a hateful fury.

"But ... Why do you want to kill me and my family, Alex? Wh-what's our fault?!" ruby asked with a stern tone accompanied by a sad look.

"It's your fault, because you were born into the Pattinson family. You know, because of your Daddy, my mom had to be a widow, and I had to be an orphan. Because of your Daddy, our lives have suffered. Because of your Daddy's selfishness, Mr. Robert Pattinson. So my father had to end his life in shame. All because of your Daddy, Ruby Pattinson!" Alex let out all the anger he had been keeping. Alex pressed closer Ruby's body to the cliff so that half of Ruby's body was in the middle of the cliff.

Ruby could not say anymore. The pain and fatigue caused his energy to drain away. He can only surrender.

"Is this the end of my life?" her mind was crying looking at Alex with a resigned face.

"Please say goodbye, dear Ruby!" alex says while pushing Ruby to the cliff.

"Aaarrrggghhh ...," Ruby shouted as she pushed.

Ruby had yet to fully fall, she could still defend herself with her remaining power. Currently Ruby holds firmly on the rocks that are on the edge of the cliff.

Alex who saw it only scolded and intended to step on Ruby's hand, but the phone in his pants pocket rang. Alex picks up his phone and moves away from Ruby.

As Alex is stunned, he immediately got into the car, drove away leaving Ruby alone who was betting his life.

"Please ...," said Ruby who hung on the edge of the cliff.

Aunt Lili saw Alex's car passing nearby. He hid. After Alex's car sped away, he immediately ran to save Ruby. Aunt Lili was confused to find where her mistress was.

"Yonyaa... hang on, Madam, Auntie will help you" said Aunt Lili. He reached out to pull Ruby.

"Auntie, help me, I'm not strong anymore, Auntie!" Ruby cried while trying to push her body up while Aunt Lili pulled her.

"A little bit more, ma'am, please hold on!" With full of energy Aunt Lili pulled Ruby so that Ruby could survive death. "Mrs, you're safe, Madam. Oh, my God, thank you." Aunt Lili was so happy that she had managed to pull Ruby.

Ruby was speechless, she was silent. A few seconds later, his consciousness was gone. Aunt Lili was surprised the madam closed her eyes unconscious.

"Mrs ... sober up, Madam!" Aunt Lili tried to resuscitate Ruby by patting Ruby's face slowly. "Wait here, ma'am, Auntie will seek help."

Aunt Lili papah while slightly dragging Ruby's body to a large tree not far from the cliff. She's laying Ruby's body down there.

"Patience, Madam, Auntie, come back soon" said Aunt Lili as she got up and walked half way to the side of the highway in the area.

Meanwhile, a shiny luxury car was crossing a deserted road. The road is decorated by high cliffs and also pine trees that are lined up neatly. A handsome man with sharp eyes sat elegantly inside the luxurious car while enjoying the air along the way.

His eyes were closed, but he did not sleep. Every now and then the assistant heard his young master take a deep breath to lessen the burden of thought.

"So, you haven't found any information about my girl?" asked the man in a heavy, sexy voice, removing the silence in the car.

"Not yet, sir," the assistant replied nervously.

"Ck! You're so slow." The young master clucked in annoyance. "I don't want to know, tomorrow all the information about my girl should be on my desk! Do you understand?!"

The heavy voice of the man was able to exert psychological pressure on the assistant so that fear reached his mind. Just swallowing the saliva, the only movement that can relieve all the excitement he feels while answering with a stutter.

"Well, sir," he answered again, stammering.

The authoritative man did not respond. He closed his eyes again. The assistant could only grumble inwardly and focus on driving back.

Nahas, when he was about to turn the car, the assistant saw someone standing on the road. For the sake of safety together, the assistant stepped on the car brake suddenly.

The sound of car brakes squeaking long. They avoid accidents. However, still some collisions were unavoidable.

"Shiits!" as an authoritative man sat in the back seat as his head hit the chair in front of him. "Bram!" growled the man.

"Ma-af, sir, I didn't mean it. It's in front of someone, Master!" bram answered between surprise and fear of his boss.

Suddenly the man's car window was tapped tightly by a half-life woman with a messy appearance and a pitiful face.

"Get out!" the young master's orders to his assistant.

"Master, help me, sir. Please save my Madam, Sir," aunty Lili pleaded with Bram.

Yes, Aunt Lili made it to the highway. At that moment, a car passed by. Gathering all his courage, he stood in the middle of the road to stop the car.

He doesn't care about life being at stake in the act of intercepting that car. All he thought about was that he had to rescue Ruby, the mistress immediately.
