"Hello, Alex, did you pick me up

"Hmm? Alright."

Ruby hasn't finished talking yet, her phone connection has been cut off. Ruby could only stare at her phone.

Alex, who is still driving his luxury car, drives to pick up Ruby. It didn't take long for him to enter the hospital courtyard and park the luxury car there.

Alex got off that latest luxury car. Dashingly he stepped his long legs towards the hospital loby. From a distance Alex has seen Ruby talking to one of the doctors of the hospital where Ruby therapy.

Ruby saw Alex walking towards her. Her lips are smiling beautifully. She spread out her hands, a sign asking for a warm hug to her husband Alex. Alex ignores Ruby's indirect request.

"Let's go home!" take Alex.

He holds the back of Ruby's wheelchair and pushes her into the parking lot. Ruby who expects a friendly hug and kiss from Alex as Alex used to do first, must harbor disappointment while lowering her face.

"Doctor, I'm going home. Thank you for accompanying me to chat," Ruby told the doctor who accompanied her.

"Are you home early tonight? We haven't had dinner together in a long time, Lex!" Ruby asked again full of longing because she missed her husband so much.

"Come down! Soon I have an important meeting, more important than you," Alex ordered while looking at Ruby intently.

Alex's words were like a knife piercing his heart, pain and tightness in his chest. That's how Ruby feels. He could not bear the sadness he had been holding back. Ruby went down with the help of the servants.

"Thank you and sorry for bothering you" Ruby said with a smile. His mind was still fixed on the rude words Alex had said to him earlier.

"It's my duty to serve you, Madam," Aunt Lili said as she stared at Ruby's sad-looking face.

"I'm back in the kitchen first, ma'am. If you need anything, just call me."

"Hu'um." Ruby just nodded, she was too tired and needed some rest.

Blocked by Alex's rude attitude, Ruby forgets to tell Alex about the happy news of her recovery. He also hopes that Alex will return home soon later tonight so that he can immediately report the progress of his therapy that is going well.
