Chapter 1
"Tiara, can you not wake up earlier? What time is it? You wake up every day, right?" nagging a middle-aged woman named Bu Ismiyati at a young woman who just woke up and was preparing to go to work.
The actions of this woman are also unjustified. But as a working wife, Bu Ismiyati should be able to understand a woman who is none other than her own daughter-in-law.
"Sorry, Mom! Tiara had a lot of work yesterday. Tiara is a bit tired," said a woman named Tiara.
Tiara still remained courteous, despite the fact that the woman was rather tired and irritated. Some days his calm began to be disturbed since the arrival of his mother-in-law from the village.
"Mother why? Early in the morning was grumbling," said Dimas, the husband of Tiara.
"This is your wife! It was like this just woke up. Not cooking, not washing clothes, not cleaning," said Bu Ismiyati complained.
Dimas could only smile. They are used to this routine. Because Tiara also worked, Dimas freed the wife to do anything at home, and did not force Tiara to complete all household chores.
"You're a wife, Tiara. You should learn to take care of your husband and home!" sahut Bu Ismiyati on Tiara.
Tiara could only nod without daring to refute. "Tiara is usually also diligent, Mom," Dimas said.
As a husband, only Dimas wanted to do it. At least Dimas is still trying to defend his wife in front of the mother and trying to give understanding to Ms. Ismiyati.
"We're ready, Mom? The hunt is late to go to work," Dimas said, stopping their little argument in the morning.
Ms. Ismiyati also stopped her tirade at the daughter-in-law. Just now the middle-aged woman had been staying for a few days at Dimas' house, but Ms. Ismiyati had already managed to ravage the peaceful atmosphere in her own son's house.
"Young people today are hard to tell" muttered Bu Ismiyati as she stepped away from her son and daughter-in-law.
"Don't take heart, huh? Mother is very rich," said Dimas trying to calm his wife.
"It's okay, Mom. I don't understand that I'm going to get into the heart" Tiara said.
Only once or twice, Tiara can still receive. "Sorry, I woke up. I haven't eaten breakfast for you yet" Tiara said, beginning to feel bad for Dimas, although this is usually what happens when they're both at home.
"You don't have to apologize. I know you're tired of work too. No need to think about it, huh?"
After getting ready with her work clothes, Tiara rushed to get her purse and was about to go to the stall to buy her breakfast. Yes, the woman rarely takes care of homework, including cooking for her husband. Especially in the morning. Tiara didn't have much time left.
"Where are you going, Tiara?" reprimand Bu Ismiyati on Tiara who was about to get out of the house.
"Tiara wants to buy breakfast for Mas Dimas, Mom. What do you want breakfast for? Let Tiara buy you all," bargained Tiara to her mother-in-law.
"Want to buy food outside? You rarely cook, too?" asked Ms. Ismiyati in a dislike tone.
Again this is a problem for Ms. Ismiyati. Wake up, it's a problem. Buying breakfast is also a problem.
"Yes, Mom. There is no time to cook anymore. So Tiara wants to eat out. There are many stalls that have opened at this hour, ma'am," said Tiara trying to give a polite explanation.
"Udah knows her husband works in the morning, certainly needs breakfast. You should wake up early for the husband's masakin" said Bu Ismiyati blaming Tiara who woke up at noon.
Indeed, the words of Ms. Ismiyati are also not wrong. But from Tiara's point of view, the woman felt that she had not neglected her duties and obligations as a wife. Tiara still tried to serve her husband well, while she also busied herself working outside to help the family financially.
"Sorry, Mom. Tomorrow Tiara will wake up early. Today we're buying food outside, huh?" sahut Tiara patiently.
Ms. Ismiyati just kept quiet. Just staying a few days in the house alone has made Miss Ismiyati feel stifled to see the behavior of Tiara in taking care of the house and also her son.
"Tiara go first, Mom!"
After enjoying breakfast with Bu Ismiyati and Dimas, Tiara and Dimas rushed to pay their farewells to Bu Ismiyati to go to work.
Dimas and Tiara worked in different places. Dimas worked as a head of security at PT Robycon, while Tiara worked as a supervisor at PT Karpala.
"We're leaving first, huh, ma'am?" Dimas and Tiara alternately kissed the back of Ismiyati's hand.
"Be careful, yes!" sahut Bu Ismiyati while staring at the big bag carried by the son-in-law.
"Tiara, what did you bring?" asked Bu Ismiyati astonished to see her daughter-in-law carrying a large bag when she was about to leave for work.
"What's? Laundry place?" asked Ms. Ismiyati with a frown. "Why go to the laundry? You have your own washing machine!" sahut Bu Ismiyati's.
Again Tiara did things that are not liked by Miss Ismiyati. Every single thing Tiara did must have been commented on by her mother-in-law.
"Wash your clothes, don't you want to?" omel Bu Ismiyati's.
"It's not so, Mom. Laundry clothes once in a while is also not a problem, right?" sela Dimas chimed in.
Before the debate became long, Dimas immediately took his wife away from home. "Have you, Mom! We're leaving first!" said Dimas.
"Please understand me, huh?" pinta Dimas to the wife.
"Once and a second time I can still nahan, Mas. But if it's time and time again, I don't promise to be able to understand."

"You just got home?" greet Bu Ismiyati on Dimas.
Dimas immediately approached the mother and accompanied Bu Ismiyati who was sitting relaxing on the terrace chair. "Dimas bawain martabak for Mom!" cetus Dimas while offering the warm food to Ms. Ismiyati.
"Mother is still full. You hunt for a bath there!"
Instead of entering the house, Dimas also chose to sit on the terrace with his mother. "Dimas wants to rest first."
"Mom not here?" tanya Dimas started to open the conversation. "It's a lot different here in Sukoharjo, huh?"
Ms. Ismiyati turned her head towards the son, then threw a thin smile. "Distant. Mother used to live in the village. Mother has never been steady in a big city rich in gini," replied Ms. Ismiyati.
"But I'm happy right in Tangerang?"
"Now Mom is at Mom's son's house. There's no reason for you to feel unhappy here."
"Thank God that's it" said Dimas.
Dimas played his fingers restlessly. The man seemed to want to convey something to Ms. Ismiyati, but Dimas himself was confused about how to express it to his mother.
"Is there anything you want to say to me?" ask Ms. Ismiyati later.
Because his anxiety had already been discovered, Dimas did not want to dodge either. "Mother's still sprained by Tiara?" tanya Dimas started talking about the wife.
"Who's sprained Tiara?" elak Bu Ismiyati's.
"It's good if the mother does not sprain the same Tiara," Dimas said.
"Mother is not sprained by Tiara. It's just, I hope Tiara can be a more diligent wife. I hope Tiara can take care of the house and husband better. If Tiara is already rich now, what if you have children?"
Dimas quite understand the thing that is worried by the mother. But according to Dimas, the things Tiara is doing right now need not be too much of a problem.
"Mom, maybe for Mother Tiara is a wife who is not diligent. But for Dimas, Tiara was the best wife. Maybe Mom and Tiara are just different. Tiara continues to do well as a wife even though the way is not the same as Mom," said Dimas trying to build a good image for his wife in front of the mother.
"Please understand how Tiara works, ma'am. Tiara instead of males cook. Tiara did not want to wash clothes. Tiara still finished her work though in a different way to Mom, right?" connect Dimas.
Ms. Ismiyati still doesn't want to understand. For him, a woman, especially a wife, must be able to do household chores on her own. Ms. Ismiyati does not like to see Tiara who relies on food stalls and laundry to take care of daily needs.
"Mother is not willing to judge the way of Tiara, Dimas. But what's wrong if you want your child in masakin with his wife? Is it wrong if you want your child washed in clothes with his wife? Mother's request isn't hard either, is it?"
"But Tiara works, Mom. Tiara was as tired as Dimas. What's wrong if Tiara wants to rest without thinking about homework? All this time Tiara helped Dimas, Mom. If there is no Tiara, Dimas will not be able to take the KPR house here. Dimas will not be able to pay installments" Dimas explained.
Tiara worked to help her husband financially. Tiara salary is usually used to take care of KPR and saved. While Dimas salary is used for their daily needs.
Tiara was very happy even though the woman had to keep working to help her husband. Although they did not have children after 2 years of marriage, but Tiara was satisfied enough to build a harmonious household with Dimas.
At least Tiara now has a comfortable home with her husband, although her current calm has been disturbed by the arrival of her mother-in-law. "Please understand Tiara's situation, ma'am? Please don't argue about this in the future!" hatch Dimas.
