22. Disarray.

There was nothing Bella thought more about right now, except the words she had just heard from her foster father, Harold. The girl even forgot for a moment about Noah's affair with the red woman he met yesterday.

How not, the father turned out to have planned to go to Gargania –the capital of the country of Veroxia, next week and spend the year there.

Harold did not go there alone, for his wife would go with him. However, not at the same time, because Jessica still has to finish some business first, and that's what makes Bella's mind haunted eternal now.

Well, when Harold was here alone, Jessica's treatment of him was so violent, what if there wasn't?

Although she now lives separately in Noah's apartment, Bella is convinced there is a gap for Jessica and Martha to hurt her. Not to mention the relationship with the husband that was never okay.

Although their status is now a couple, Noah will definitely keep his eyes closed as he has been doing.

Bella wants to express her feelings by forbidding her beloved father from leaving, because, her presence has been one of the few forces that Bella has, to stay afloat. However, what power, Bella does not want to destroy the pleasure of her who had long planned her long vacation after retirement.

"Bella, are you daydreaming, son?" Harold opened his voice, when he found the princess was silent at the pantry table, holding a knife. "Be careful, you're holding a knife!" The man was worried.

Bella suddenly wakes up from her daydream. "Ahh, sorry, Pa," said the girl awkwardly. She is currently busy preparing dinner for the four of them while waiting for the arrival of her stepmother and in-law, Jessica.

As Harold had said earlier, Jessica finally came following up to the apartment, when Bella was almost done preparing dinner. The woman brought a variety of luxury dishes and Noah's favorite fruits.

A cloud over Bella's face when she saw Noah's grateful face. Though this was the first chance for her to make the best dish for her husband, but it seemed like Bella had to bury deeply in the occasion.

Finding the daughter-in-law cooking, Jessica pretends to be unwell. "Bella, Mama didn't know you were preparing dinner for us" she said sadly. "Then, it's better that the food you bring is kept."

"It's okay, Ma! Me and Brother Noah can still eat this later." Bella kindly helped Jessica prepare the food she brought.

"Let's see, the dishes are ready, let's eat together. Papa hasn't eaten your food in a long time, honey, either" Harold said.

Jessica nodded ostensibly agreeing to the solution the husband gave her.

A glimmer of hope rose on Bella's pretty face. However, it did not last long. Because at dinner, both Jessica and Noah did not touch the food he cooked. Only Harold took his food once in a while, while reminding the two of them to take a taste.

"I can eat it later, Pa," said Noah. While Jessica was forced to take a spoonful of Bella's side dish, in order to obey her husband's orders.

However, unlike what he said in front of the father, until the two came home, Noah still refused to touch Bella's food. The man even ruthlessly threw all the food Bella cooked into the trash bin without any waste.

"Why was the food thrown away? I can spend it myself!" bella with wide eyes.

Noah budging. The man did not answer Bella's questions, and chose to leave the girl for her private room.

"I bought all those groceries using my own personal money. If you don't like it, just don't eat it, not throw it away!" bella exclaimed in annoyance as she looked at Noah's back.

Understandably, he was not a Noah who had a lot of money. Any funds that come out of her storage box should be Bella detailed and calculated very carefully. What's more he still has to wait for his first salary to come.

Hearing the words of Bella who was quite brave, Noah suddenly turned around while reaching into his wallet.

"It's in lieu of your rotten food! Don't expect you to get it from me again, lady si4l!" as Noah said, throwing the sheets of money into Bella's face hard. He even had time to trample some of the money that had fallen to the floor first, before then leaving.

Bella wiped her tears that started to pool.

"Bella! When will your work be done if you keep daydreaming!" snapped the Queen who was standing right in front of him.

Bella, who was busy lowering her chair and wiping the tables in the cafeteria, was shocked. He bowed and apologized to his senior.

This is the third time Bella gets a Queen clash. Bella realized since the morning there was work that never completed.

The girl really couldn't put her thoughts aside about Harold, Noah, and work.

"Already, already, let Nora alone take care of it. You better tidy up the back shed!" tell Queen while glaring at Bella.

"Queen, don't I have to prepare lunch?" ask Bella.

"How can you stand there if your work since then is just daydreaming! Today you better clean up the warehouse, and don't argue!" jolt Queen, when Bella almost cut the conversation.

Bella nodded lethargicly. He did not blame the Queen who today was being tough on him.

With a shunt and bowed step, Bella walked into the canteen. The girl was completely unaware of her professional friend, Peter, as she carried a pile of clean glasses.

PRAANK!

Within seconds, the pile of glasses Peter was carrying fell to the floor after Bella accidentally hit him. Fractions of shard shafts were bouncing everywhere.

The employees quickly ran out to help Peter and Bella, who were apologizing with wet eyes.

Queen wrath. He pushed Bella and snapped her rudely. The girl even throws Bella's face with a dirty rag nearby.

"What's the fuss?" ask Willy who just came. The man was surprised to find the chaos that occurred there, even though the lunch hour would last another hour.

"Since this morning this proud employee of yours has been causing trouble! Ask them!" exclaim Queen angry.

Willy turned his gaze to Bella who was now silent while crying. A breath came out of the man's mouth.

"Bella, come with me to the room. All of you, please help Peter clean this up, and you're Queen, we'll talk after this" Willy said as he walked slowly past his employees.

Without saying anything Bella followed Willy.
