6. Harold's Promise.

There was actually another reason why Noah was willing to accept his father's marriage offer. While waiting for Bella's arrival to the church at that time, Harold invited Noah to speak together. He offered his position to the son and promised to appoint him as the leader of the Werner Company if he wanted to marry Bella.

Currently Noah serves as COO (Chief Operating Office), whose position is directly below the father, CEO. The man had long craved the highest position there after so many years of staying in the same place.

Noah was actually able to get the position despite not getting married, because the age of the father will soon enter retirement age. However, it happened not in the near future, and Noah who had begun to get fed up with his work certainly did not want to wait any longer.

As a result, he accepted the father's offer even half-heartedly.

Initially Noah thought, his marriage with Bella was only as a savior of family pride because of the actions of Maria, a woman who until now was difficult to forget by him. However, who would have thought if the father actually told them to build each other's household properly.

Harold even had Bella stay and sleep in the same room as him.

Despite his anger, Noah could not resist. What's more, his current position is still not safe. So, inevitably he had to obey the orders of the father.

"Damn!" as Noah said, hitting the steering wheel of his car. "I'll make it not hard to sleep there!" the man was full of emotion.

"Eh, uh, what do you want to do in and out of Mr Noah's room?" martha shouted that Bella had caught in her young master's room, while carrying some items, such as clothes and make-up.

Bella stops her steps right in the doorway of Noah's room. "Papa told me to move into this room." Answer the girl.

Martha turned around and sneered at Bella. "Currently, do you think Mr. Noah would take your presence for granted? You should have refused the order, you ignorant freak!" hina Martha's.

Bella was silent for a moment. "I cannot refuse, because at any rate my current status is the wife of Brother Noah."

Hearing the answer that was thrown from Bella's mouth with confidence, Martha was laughing out loud. "Feel in on you, take it! Let's see if Mr. Noah will think you are. Please kick me out of here, if my guess is wrong!"

The woman walked up to Bella and clutched her small arm. "Foolish with your current status, you should keep working in this house. After you're done moving your junk, clean the backyard! Understood?"

Bella groans in pain as Martha's grip tightens. "I—iya." Reply staggered.

"What's this?" Jessica suddenly appeared from the first floor, having heard Martha's laughter before.

"This girl is overconfident, ma'am. She told me just now, that this house assignment should be left to another, because now she's Mr. Noah's wife." A line of lies came out of Martha's words.

Bella was wide-eyed to hear Martha's words that were clearly slandering her.

"What!" scream Jessica. The woman walked quickly to Bella and immediately grabbed her hair, making Bella's head look up.

"Ouch, sick, Ma! M—martha te—has lied! I didn't say that at all!" bella said softly, while trying to escape.

"Just call me a liar. You don't remember how arrogant you were when you said that?" Martha glared, as if she did not accept the words of Bella who was accusing her.

"Remember, the marriage between you and my son is just a mere status. So don't you dare act up, little man! You gotta keep crawling under my feet, okay?" Jessica's treatment of Bella's hair is getting rough. Hateful eyes were given to Jessica for the girl.

Seeing the anger of the master, Martha smiled with satisfaction.

"I—iya Ma, I understand." Bella's eyes started getting wet. Occasional moans still sounded from his mouth.

"Goody!" Jessica violently slammed Bella's head into the door. The two of them left him there immediately.

Tears flowed down Bella's cheeks, as the two were no longer visible. As much as possible the girl managed her breathing well, so that her crying stopped.

"You can definitely get through this all Bella!" his calling encouraged himself.

Not many items Bella moved to Noah's room, because the girl did not have a lot of clothes and make-up. Bella's shoes only have two pairs, and ninety percent of the clothes she has are ordinary home clothes.

Bella closes her closet and opens Noah's closet. Rows of casual clothes with famous brands that spoil the eyes lined up neatly there. Not to mention the parts next to it. Noah painstakingly separated the clothes according to their type and needs.

The television was set facing the man's bed.

Inside the glass cabinet, Bella can see dozens of luxury watches and several other men's accessories.

Walking a little to the end of the room, there is a shoe cabinet located right in the toilet hallway.

Bella smiled knot. Even though the owner of the room was not there, the girl could still smell her scent scattered to every corner of the room. The aroma is so soothing and calm.

However, Bella's smile turned mellow, when she realized the man's attitude towards her. Bella did not even dare to imagine what treatment Noah would give when she knew she had already moved there, which was obvious, Bella had already prepared her heart as hard as possible so as not to get too broken.

At exactly seven in the evening, Noah finally arrived home. The man came home a little late because he had just attended a dinner invitation from one of his father's colleagues.

Seeing the husband's arrival, Bella hurriedly welcomed him forward. As much as possible the girl wants to act like a good wife.

"Let me bring you, brother." Bella kindly offers to bring a laptop bag that is in Noah's hands.

Noah frowned. "For what?" ask the man cynically.

"I just want to help you bring it," replied Bella timidly.

Noah was silent for a moment, while paying attention to the appearance of Bella who only wears home coas and trousers.

A sudden feeling of anger came from inside the man's chest, when he realized that Bella's appearance was very much different from Maria, the ex-lover who was very beautiful and sexy.

"Be as usual, don't bother looking for attention." After saying so, Noah went through it.

Bella closed her eyes for a moment. He knew full well the meaning of Noah's eyes.

The man insulted him.

Time has shown at eleven o'clock in the evening, when drowsiness is again present attacking Bella. The girl was actually worried about getting into Noah's room and sleeping there. Therefore, until now Bella still survives in the television room.

"So, aren't you asleep, son?"

Harold who caught his daughter still in the television room, immediately approached.

Hurriedly the girl sat up straight and rubbed her face to reduce sleepiness. "Yes, Pa, I just finished watching my favorite television" Bella replied.

"Why not watch in Noah's room?" ask the father.

Bella smiled awkwardly. He was about to answer, but his tongue suddenly fell off.

Seeing the princess' reaction, Harold grabbed her shoulders. "Are you angry at Papa's decision, Bella?" ask the man suddenly.

Bella turned to look at Harold. "No, Pa."

"You know there's a selfish reason for your marriage, but trust me, Papa wants the best in your life, too, Bella."

Bella. In his heart he was firmly convinced that the father's decision was not the best one. However, how else, this marriage also happened with his agreement to repay the kindness of the Werner family, especially Harold, who loved him very much.

"I understand, Pa. It's also my decision. I was the one who consciously accepted Papa's offer," Bella replied as she smiled.

"Thank you, son. Tell Papa that Noah hurt you, okay?" Harold pulled Bella into his warm embrace.

Bella nodded without answering. He only returned the embrace of the father equally tightly.
