Chapter Twenty Six. HTGS
David takes Mia outside the campus to one of the nearby cafes. At first Mia does not want to, but David continues to persuade her. David didn't want his college friends to see them fight.
"What would you like to order a drink or something to eat?" ask David.
"I don't want anything" replied Mia.
David took his breath back. He must be patient. Everything that happens because of his mistake.
David orders Mia's favorite meal and drink. She looked at Mia's red face as she was crying.
After the order arrives, David asks Mia to eat it. But the girl ignored. Not even to mention David's words.
"Mia, for over four years we've been in a relationship. I've always tried to accept you because to my parents you're the woman who deserves to be with me."
"I just realized that the relationship we have been living all this time is only because of affection. I love you as much as my brother."
"Why did you just say that? All this time we had a relationship there was never a problem. You started to change since working with Ms. Luna."
"Mia, I say again. Don't involve Luna. It's both of us."
"I've only been aware of how I feel about you ever since I knew another woman. I feel comfortable with him. Different when we're both."
"What makes you comfortable with that woman. You have never demanded anything. This is just your excuse for wanting to leave me."
"With that woman I can be myself. I can be what I am."
"Have you ever felt like you weren't being yourself with me?"
"Maybe, because when I'm with you I always try to be the best guy even if I don't like your nature sometimes, I still try to survive for my parents and your parents. I want our family to stay in good touch."
"Which one you don't like. I'm gonna change. I beg you, David. Don't leave me. All your mistakes I will forgive and forget. I'm not gonna screw it up."
"Mia, the relationship must be heart-based. If I'm uncomfortable with you, why keep it up again."
"I will change according to what you want and want" said Mia.
"Don't change just to be loved by someone, Mia. Be yourself is better. I'm sure there's someone who can love you for who you are."
"I want you" said Mia.
"Love cannot be forced. I just want us to end this relationship. Than it'll hurt each other,"
Mia stood up from her seat and moved to the side of David. Mia grabbed David's hand and grabbed him.
"Don't break off our relationship.Over time we're fine. I'm gonna change my ugly nature. What do the villagers say, if you hear us break up. After all, both of our parents will definitely be disappointed if they hear the news of the breakup of this relationship."
"I'm going to meet your parents to tell you everything."
"Think about this decision. It's all gonna be best for us."
David stands up from his seat and gives Mia money for the taxi fare.
