Mia was cooking in the kitchen when Doni, her husband came home. Mia turned off the stove to see Doni approaching.
"Where are you from?" ask Doni ketus.
"From the stalls, shopping for cooking," replied Mia.
"Someone reported to me, you met David."
"That was unintentional. We happened to meet at the creek earlier."
"You must be happy to see David again. Mom is also at David's house. Does your mother still want David to be her daughter-in-law?"
"Don't get me wrong, Mom. I have nothing to do with David."
"Your mother always compared me to David. If he just wants David to be his daughter-in-law, why did he come home to ask me to marry you!" said Doni in a high voice.
"Mas Doni, I've said this many times. David and I have nothing to do. David is also married and has children."

Doni finally let go of the clutches of her hands after seeing Mia cry. He sat in the dining chair.

Doni walks away from Mia and chooses to leave the house, leaving his wife alone.
