I HATE YOU, BUT

I HATE YOU, BUT
#58

Davian rubbed his body beside Alena without removing their lips. He is very comfortable in this position. I don't know why it feels like this kiss is so light, loose, and without any burden. She feels as happy as when she first fell in love with Alena.

“It feels like a long time ago I didn't feel this happy when I kissed my wife,” Davian muttered as soon as he put his head away. He stared into Alena's iris black eyes. He was sure Alena could definitely feel so much love that she gave him just by diving into the look in his eyes.

Alena who understood what Davian meant smiled loosely, “Sorry if I previously made you burdened,”

He buried his face in Davian's warm chest, in order to hide the red tinge that suddenly adorned his two white cheeks.

“No need to feel guilty, I have hurt your heart enough when we were in the early days of marriage first. I'm the one who should apologize.” Alena could feel Davian's burly arms holding her so tightly that it made her feel so special and protected. He put his hand on Davian's back in return. He secretly smiled, grateful that he had chosen to marry Davian and did not obey his sometimes mistaken heart. If not, maybe he was the most hurt when he knew Malvin was his brother and his father had been hiding that fact from him.

“Honey,” Davian called his wife when suddenly the atmosphere was silent. He lifted his head to see Alena's condition, after realizing that Alena was fast asleep from her regular breathing, he smiled.

“Good sleep,” he kissed the top of Alena's head and followed Alena to the dream world the next second.

Malvin sat in front of his father with his head lowered. He accepted whatever his father would decide today. He had told the family who had raised him that he already knew the chronological story of his biological parents from Alena's mother. He knew his father would be angry because he did the presumptuous act but he hoped his father understood. He also wanted to know the life history of his two biological parents.

“Then what will you do next?” mr. Fahri's voice was high. The man raised his chin haughtily and firmly, revealing the dignified attitude of a Father.

“Are you leaving this house?”

Malvin raised his head so he could look at his father's expression directly. He fell silent, pondering his father's last question before answering in a confident tone,

“No, Father.” His words straightforwardly made the middle-aged man in front of him widen his eyes.

“No? Wh why? Didn't you already know your real father wasn't me."

Malvin showed a smile that always appeared when he was sure of the decision he took, he looked back at his father with calm eyes.

“For me, my father is still you. How could I betray a father who was willing to live me. I have never lacked the slightest affection during this time. That's why I'll still be your son.”

Mr. Fahri wiped away the tears that were dripping at the corner of the eye. “Yeah, if that's your decision.”

When he was about to say the next sentence, suddenly there was a knock. A woman came inside and bowed respectfully to Malvin, the owner of the room where they are now.

“Master, no guests.”

“Oh yes? Who?” Malvin.

“We,” Davian appeared with Alena even before Malvin allowed them in.

Malvin and his father both gasped. The atmosphere had become awkward even though Alena was already desperately showing a friendly smile. He clasped Davian's hand tightly because he was not strong with a look full of probing Mr. Fahri.

“Not usually you guys come here. What's up?” Malvin asked friendly.

Judging from her expression, Alena was sure Malvin was already not burdened at all with the previous problem. Malvin looks as he knows it. That's how it should be.

“There is something we want to say,” this time Alena said. Malvin was speechless seeing the seriousness on the faces of Alena and her husband. He looked at his father who understood.

“I seem to have to go,” he said then left the room. Unlike Malvin, Mr. Fahri still can't seem to accept the problem because the man did not show a friendly look at all when crossing Alena and Davian.

Malvin immediately invited them to sit on the sofa set that was in the place of himself and his father.

“Sorry, about Dad. It is difficult for him to accept all this,” said Malvin regretting his father's unfriendly attitude just now.

“Oh, you still call Mr. Fahri with the designation ‘Dad’,” Davian concluded his own hypothesis.
