Jian Chen had to admit that the man-killing technique was extremely high, surpassing the killing technique his 5 twin girls had performed.
Not only was it fast but it had a complicated movement, each swing of the man's blade would increase with each second.
A scratch wound was finally engraved on Jian Chen's cheek but at the same time he also injured the man's shoulder with his ice sword.

"I want to see if you'll be this calm against my shadows!" The man snorted, he then ordered 4 shadows of himself to move attacking Jian Chen.
Jian Chen was still calm, without difficulty he faced the four shadow physiques easily yet every time he swung his ice sword at the shadow physique, jian Chen's ice sword was unable to injure him aka his sword pierced through that physical shadow.
Seeing this, the man laughed mockingly. "You can't hurt a shadow, do you understand that!?"
Jian Chen again tried to swing his sword again but this time using deep power, the result was that the shadow could easily pierce through it.
"Truly a unique technique..." Jian Chen clucked in awe but he was not provoked by the man's words. It was simple because he had a trick to deal with those four shadow physiques.
Jian Chen's ice sword then shone golden, it made a type change from an ice sword to a light sword.
The man was shocked to the point of being speechless, before he spoke his bravest element, Jian Chen had already done something else.
With the light sword that had condensed Jian Chen instantly cut through the shadow physique easily, this time the shadow was unable to break through Jian Chen's light element so when his sword swung, it swung, the shadow physique instantly split apart before finally disappearing into dust.
Jian Chen smiled widely, as if understanding what his opponent was thinking he said, "You're right, this is the light element..."
As Lily explains, light elements are so rare in the universe, it would be hard to find a warrior who possesses them. Seeing the man's reaction Jian Chen was sure even in the Qilin Empire was hardly any element that seemed like it.
Jian Chen did not wait for the shock from the man but instead directly shortened the distance of the two.

The man had already sneaked a few months in the capital, of course much of the information he had gathered included the 10 strongest heroes in the Dragon Empire.
Other than knowing, he also checked their strength and the man was sure Jian Chen was not one of the 10 heroes.
Jian Chen was in fact unconcerned with the man's question, he swung his sword faster than before until the man had trouble following his movements, finally a huge scratch wound was engraved on his chest with a large wound.

Jian Chen needed one more strike to kill him yet he did not do so but rather strangled the man.
"What exactly was your goal in attacking the Dragon Empire?!" Jian Chen said in a cold tone.
"What do you think that I should tell you?" The man smiled mockingly, his blood started flowing in his mouth. "You might be happy to kill me here but my strength is still quite weak when compared to the 10 heroes of the Qilin Empire."
The man coughed but still maintained his smile. "Incredibly, the Dragon Empire will be mercilessly attacked by us and at that time the people closest to you will die..."
"I don't care, if you want to destroy the Dragon Empire then I will kill those who come here."
The man laughed despite occasionally choking on his own blood. "I admit your strength is very high even in the Qilin Empire but compared to the 10 great heroes there, you are nothing..."
"So what makes you think I'm not their opponent, do you think against you should use all my strength." Jian Chen smiled mockingly.
The man's expression immediately deteriorated. "You don't say it's in Ra's realm..."
Jian Chen snorted, before the man finished his sentence he had already hardened the grip on his neck.
Shortly after the sound of a broken bone rang out loud, the man instantly died with the neck bone detached from its origin.
Before his body in the drop Jian Chen took the man's spatial ring, he intended to search for other information further.
