Remember You

Remember You
The GingerBread's

Looks like for tonight, the universe is not on my side and Uncle Melvin's. The proof just before we left for the night market, the rain suddenly fell so heavily. As if he didn't give us permission to leave. Though I have high expectations will try all the exciting rides with Uncle Melvin. We even made some perfect plans. Uncle Melvin to record it in a private note, such as; play sledgehammer until he can get a teddy bear, enter the haunted house and scream until the throat raspy, driving car bombs to get drunk, ride a merry-go-round until dizzy, ride kora-kora until nausea, and ride a ring of ten rounds.

Too bad, everything failed miserably just because it rained. Makes us want to not have to go back to the apartment with a grumbling face.

All plans filed!

"Hey...Why are you going to bend your face like that? Even though leaving tomorrow can still be," chirped Grandma opened her voice. Maybe he was annoyed to see his grandchildren who had just been silent while folding their hands in front of the chest with a mouth that was lascivious forward as if it could be used as a flower pot hangers.

"The two of you are like lovers who failed to date alone."

In that instant, Uncle Melvin and I spontaneously exchanged glances. Both of them put on an expression as if they were saying "we?".

"That means the sign that God is rebuking you. Tomorrow Alena's still in school, she's supposed to be studying not wandering." Grandma started to snort loudly, "You're Melvin. Is old. I want four heads. Not looking for a wife even want to invite his nephew to play until the morning."

Taking a deep breath, Uncle Melvin befell, "We also need entertainment. Refreshing. Alena's hair was curly because she thought of a mathematical formula. My head was almost bald because I was told to get married. Right, no?"

The man glanced at me, asked me to confirm immediately, and then I agreed while nodding for sure.

"Yes already. Then how about the three of us get creative in the kitchen?" cetus Grandma gave me an idea.

Both of my eyebrows were perfectly linked, before finally asking, "What did Grandmother want to do?"

Grandma did not answer immediately, but switched to holding hands while tapping her index finger on her forehead. Thinking hard. Then after the 'bulb light' on his head lit up, he replied, "What about making gingerbread? Rain like this eating gingerbread while drinking hot milk can warm the body."

"Can." I don't think it's too bad. "Alena's gonna help Grandma."

"Okay" Grandma said as she began to rise from the sofa.

"You don't want to make Vin gingerbread?"

Uncle Melvin seemed to shake skeptically. "No, Eomma. I have to go to my room to finish the job. I just got an email from Masterpiece" he said, pointing out his new phone was on because there was an incoming email notification.

"What's wrong. Finish it quick. Eomma will make it with my dear granddaughter alone" Grandma said as she threw a sweet smile at me. After that, we both rushed to the kitchen to make bread.

It takes about an hour to make the perfect gingerbread. Actually I'm not much help. All the core steps are done by Grandma, she said I can only print the dough and decorate it when it is ready, because she is afraid that the taste of the gingerbread will be destroyed if I intervene. Yeah, well, Grandma knows very well that I never go to the kitchen to cook.

"Now Alena take this to Uncle's room, you eat with Uncle until it runs out. Do not let there be any remaining one of the gingerbread. If leftover, tomorrow Grandma does not want to make more for you," said Grandma while giving a tray containing a plate of ginger bread that has been decorated beautifully and two glasses of hot white milk.

I hurriedly looked at her, "Loh, is Grandma not eating with us?"

Grandma seemed to shake her head slowly while commenting on the thin smile. Small wrinkles in the tail of his eyes also appear to add to the sweet impression. "Grandmothers should cut down on foods with lots of sugar to prevent diabetes. You two just eat without Grandma. Grandma's going to the room for a break. Okay?"

I then nodded in understanding. Then put two brief kisses on both sides of his cheeks. "thank you. Dear Grandma a lot."

"Ooh! Grandma's granddaughter is the sweetest," he said while coming to kiss my cheek, before finally deciding to walk first to his room. Only then did I rush to Uncle Melvin's room.

Geck... Geck... Geck...

Knock the door three times, but there is no response at all. Then I started to stick my ears to the door, eavesdropping.

It's fitting that Uncle didn't respond to my door knock, apparently he was on the phone with someone.

So, I decided to open the door myself, because it turned out that Uncle did not lock it. Then walked in while sneaking and found his thesis standing facing the balcony door.

"But didn't you say you loved someone? Just get him to get married. What trouble? You're good-looking, well-established, successful, rich, yes even if you're old."

"Are you crazy? If I marry her, then I really commit a great sin!"

"Who is the woman you love?"

"Name Al-"

"AHH! Fucking table!"

"Randy, it looks like our conversation got here first. My niece is in my room. We'll continue sometime."

Uncle Melvin ended his call unilaterally. Then hurriedly approached my voice that was squatting while checking whether my little toe was fine or not.

"Alena why?" asked Uncle Melvin in a panic. He squatted down while looking at my toes that were starting to turn red.

"So I put the tray on Uncle's desk, and then wanted to get to Uncle, uh my little one just stares at mej_"

"When did Alena get into Uncle's room? And why don't you knock on the door first?"

Both of my eyebrows frowned not understanding the strange behavior of that man just now. Instead of asking how the circumstances of his nephew who almost lost his little finger, instead throw questions that make me more arrogant.

"Did you hear everything Uncle talked about on the phone?"

A tad.

"No, kok. I swear," I said a lie while shaking my head weakly.

After a second, Uncle Melvin chose to get up first, then toggle out his right hand in front of me. Not wanting to linger, I then reached him and stood in front of him.

"Then Uncle immediately ate his corn bread still warm. Alena will come out" I said, bowing a little shoulder. Turn your body towards the doorway. However, just as he was about to walk, Uncle Melvin instead grabbed my arm quickly.

"Where are you going?"

"To Grandma's room, I'll eat gingerbread with her," I replied without looking at her at all.

"Is Alena lying?" the question I immediately served with a soft belt. "No, lying. Grandma has stopped eating sweet foods for a few years. Then how could there be two glasses of milk if Uncle would eat it alone?"

"Oh."

"Alena should stay here. Accompany Uncle."
