"Here, eat fast," I said as I thrust a paper bowl filled with chicken porridge that was still hot.
Instead of accepting immediately, Jery instead whined, "Can't eat alone. My hands are infused."
"The one with the left hand, you're not left-handed anyway" I said.
He shook. Suddenly a little spoiled. "Booking."
I pointed at myself, half in doubt. "Me?"
"Who's Again?"
"Ecchem..."
"You got the flu?" tanyanya is so innocent.
"No. His sputum was stuck in his throat" I answered alibi.
"Oh... Then quickly bribe me," he asked, opening his mouth wide.
Whoa! He looked like the most hurt person, but now he acts like a baby.
So, without the need to linger, I immediately put a spoonful of porridge into his mouth.
"Well! The heat! Huh!" Jery's been fanning his tongue. I hurried to give him a glass of mineral water. Not long after, he threw a cynical look. "The tomb is still hot. Inflatable first. You want to make my tongue burn?"
"Okay, Mr. Jeryco. I'm guilty. My law with death" I said in a made-up tone like a dialect of a saeguk drama. Then back to feed him with porridge that I had picked up as he requested. Today he is a king, and I am his servant.
"Well, how did you get me to the hospital? We'll be on the rooftop when I pass out." Jery was suddenly curious.
"Throwing you off the rooftop, then falling in the park and dragging you to the hospital."
"Cock I'm not dead?" Clumsily.
"I asked Ahjussi for help."
"Whose ahjussi?" tanyanya while swallowing the porridge I just evaporated.
"The driver who used to take me to school" I replied, "you owe him a debt of gratitude because he carried you from the rooftop to the car. Uhuh!"
"Where is Ahjussi now?"
"I told him to go home."
He nodded in understanding, "Then why don't you go home?"
"Who will take care of you, my lord Jeryco?" The man smiled happily. "What if your parents are looking for you, my servant?"
Shit, I almost laughed.
"Don't think about me. I've prepared a thousand excuses for it," I obviously put on an arrogant face.
"Aaaa. okay-okay," he exclaimed as he took a mouthful of porridge back from me.
...----------------...
"You just go home. I'm fine."
"At least I have to drive you home. Why the hell would you want to go home?"
"I don't like the sterile smell of hospitals. Make it dizzy," he replied clearly without a second thought.
"When you suddenly faint again how?"
"Ssttt...." Jery put her index finger on my lips. She smiled, "Alena is chatty. Like Mama."
I snorted as bad as hell. After the door opened, I led him to walk into the house. The road is still limp, I'm afraid he staggered or fell because his footstool is not too strong.
"Where's your room?" my many. Jery pointed at the white door to the north. I led him back to his room. Then sat her on the edge of the bed, while I switched to picking up t-shirts and pants that were comfortable for her. He has certainly given me permission.
"Quick change clothes, then take a break," I gave you the t-shirt and pants I'd chosen, "where's your phone? I'll call your Mama. He should know you're sick."
Jery pointed to the chin on the flat object on the floor, precisely under the study table. "I'll call while you get changed" I said, then immediately picked up the phone.
However, I was made dumbfounded for a while after seeing how the phone looks now.
Did Jery slam it?
When I tried to turn it on, I was more and more stunned. Especially when you find the percentage of batteries that live 10%,
I'm sure this phone has been sitting under the desk since the night Jery was decided by Rachel. Too bad.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
"Jeryco, is it done?" I asked after telling Aunt Linda via Jery's cell phone. He said that he would try to come home tomorrow.
"Lay down."
"Yes?" The man looked confused. Then immediately according. I pulled the blanket to cover her body to the level of her chest. Then switch to taking bye-bye fever among several packs of drugs that have been prescribed by the doctor, before finally sticking it on Jery's forehead that still feels warm.
"If there's anything call me. I'll be as fast as lightning coming here" I said as I brushed her hair back.
"You want to go home?"
I'm nodding. "It's almost night. I also have to study for the exam tomorrow."
His face looks gloomy. It just makes me not want to leave. I was really afraid something would happen to her, especially at home with just her sister.
"Before I go home, may I ask you one more favor?" Jery hesitated to ask.
"What?"
"My sister, Issabela hasn't eaten since morning, I forgot to feed her because of bad luck. He must be starving. Can you please find him?" the door with a face pleading.
"Where is Isabella?"
"Home on. He doesn't like to go out. So please find him. I still feel a little dizzy when I walk a lot. I'll tell you later, okay?"
I comply. Then immediately look for Isabella. For ten minutes I mapped the entire Jungkook house, but I never found another human nose here. Even I've been down the second floor of his house, but still nil.
"I don't find anyone here, Jery," I said to Jery who was presented with a pain as if he was lost in thought. "Have you checked under the living room couch?"
A pair of my eyebrows are tied up. "Not yet."
"Then check, because Isabella likes to play there."
Like a fool, I followed the words that came out of his mouth. Hey, which guy likes to play under the couch? Even after I saw it, under the sofa it was only a foot tall. Newborn babies just don't fit in there.
However, with great patience, I kept trying to check it out. I had to wait to see if Isabella was really there. Well, actually all I met was a white Persian cat sleeping peacefully down there.
I'm pissed off. Then he went back to Jery's room to protest loudly. "Well!! I really feel stupid for looking for Isabella under the couch. There's no humans there, there's only cats."
"Who said Isabella was human?"
I see perfect. "You mean??"
"Isabella is a cat."
God, I can only smile with a depressed feeling.
"Hehehe... Feed Isabella three whisks, she has to diet. Then give her milk in the refrigerator. Can you do that for me?" Jery blazed her eyes and put on a pawed face.
"Y." Y."
I immediately headed back to the living room. Waking Isabella asleep under the couch, then carrying her to a miniature house that I believe is Isabella's place. There is a small storefront that contains some cat food stock and it looks like a few bottles of vitamins.
"Bella-yah... Know it? Your master is a pain in the ass," I told the female cat while pouring milk and four spoons of whiskey. "Don't tell Jery if I add to your meal. He said you haven't eaten since morning."
"Meow..."
As if to know, the cat meowed. I chuckle softly. He gently stroked his head while he enjoyed his meal.
I remember very well how Jery described the earth creature he recognized as this sister. Beautiful, white, smooth, perfect body proportions, a licking sound, and can leave anyone stunned. Less is more like what he told me.
And, yeah! My expectations were too high for a realization that it was just a female cat.
"My task is done. And I think I should go home soon, my saying. Hearing that, Jery who was samula lying down immediately took a sitting position.
"Hey, don't get up. You have to sleep until tomorrow morning" I'm going to land my butt cheeks on the lip of the bed to hold his body up.
"I want to take you to the front."
Constant shaking, I refused her words. "No! You don't have to drive me."
He smiles. "Thank you and sorry for having to trouble you."
I'm nodding. "Yes, equally. But can you not look at me like that?"
I hurried to turn my face away. Can't bear to look at his sad looking gaze.
Two seconds later, I was made to flinch when Jery suddenly hugged me.
"W-why?" I'm not ready to be a show.
"It's okay."
I slowly returned his embrace.
"I was afraid that my world would turn gray after Rachel's departure" she said softly, barely whispering. "But I almost forgot that I still have Miss Alena. Thanks for today, good friend."
