Sara POV.
A few days had passed from the moment Maureen arrived at Francoise's house, it felt like I was waiting for the storm to come any minute. Although Ms. Francoise lives in Washington, of course she can come here.
I don't know what happened, Francoise asked to break up because I talked to her mother, now I'm going to record whatever her mother talks about and give it to her. Let him know what his mother told me.
But this afternoon Thomas called. Is there any more duty? I could say maybe I've recovered from the injury, just recovered my stamina.
"Sara, tomorrow you practice shooting okay. I have a job for you later."
"Once, okay. This time outside or inside the country."
"This is in the country. More precisely in Miami. But I'll explain it to you tomorrow when we meet at the training ground but after you finish the lesson. I'll send the person you need to meet at this training session, you'll only be trained to shoot. Later after practice we talk."
"All right, of course."
Miami, what's there I'm curious about. I told Francoise that I would accept the task again.
"Yes okay. You have to be careful."
"Yes I'll be careful of course, later as long as I'm probably in Miami if there's anything with Mom I can ask for help?" Since he's here I hope he can help me, I don't know how long I'm doing this time. Because the local might not be too long or maybe I could come back between them.
"Of course it's a pity that she's your mother where it's possible that if there's something I'm not helping. But you need to remember you've never introduced me to your mother as a lover."
"If your mother agrees, okay. If I introduce you now, I don't know what's going on up ahead. There's gonna be a lot of questions I can't answer and I'm gonna worry, I don't want to burden her with a lot of questions."
"Well, we should try more. Remember your promise, no matter what happens we have to stick together."
I smiled at him. She was probably afraid that I would just give up like a previous lover.
"I won't give up unless you give up."
"We'll be together." A promise to be together. Makes me feel a little hopeful for us up front later.
I did my practice well, learning the correct shooting technique the next day. I have experience of shooting origin to save lives of course, 90% of which is 10% luck is the latent talent that saves lives.
My training was scheduled for 5 days so that I could really solidify my shooting technique, and thanks to the 10% of my talent my training went smoothly, Thomas nodded happily at my score report.
"It's good, you did well." He's holding my report sheet.
"I want to know my mission. This time it doesn't involve Mexican drug lords and the KGB doesn't." It was a life-and-death experience that, if I didn't want to repeat again, was enough for an inexperienced agent like me to be faced with such a situation.
"No.no." He took out a map I had to learn. "This is your job, ...." He pointed at a photo of a handsome, muscular man, like a gym model or something. I read his mother a glimpse of Jack Graham.
