Part 63's. Negotiations 1
Thomas has told me the story of Nicholai and his new mission which is likely to be involved with the general election in six months.
"I have to talk to him myself? You can't be seen? You sure I can?" With that spy position I can't believe I can talk to him. I need someone smarter to talk.
"Not later will anyone help you of course, where might Sara leave you alone?
"Who will help me?"
"Mr Francoise Civil, Boss asked him directly, so he'll be your partner. He's got a job and he's your victim, too, so he's got the capacity to defend you." I was quite relieved that he was appointed to defend me.
"Are you going to secure Katarina and Shasha first."
"Yes, as soon as the plane leaves we'll arrest the two women. That will put pressure on them as you speak, we will also expose their spy networks in Russia, if they do not want our cooperation we will arrest them all. Later there will be 4 people with the two women that we will arrest to ensure they will cooperate. I'm sending you and Francoise the deal points we want. We'll help you talk later."
Thomas was stocking me with orders I had to do, I wasn't sure I could do it but luckily I had a back up, Francoise. He could definitely be relied upon to make a deal like this.
"Franco, you've got a call from Thomas, haven't you?" Today we had dinner at a Spanish restaurant in Quuens, it's a normal day where we meet and chat with each other, two more days I'm going to the airport and face Nicholai. SQ
"Do you think this is gonna be easy?"
"I think with a guarantee in our hands boss Nicholai will have no choice but to obey us. Take it easy with me next to you, you just have to say hello to Nicholai. We don't start negotiations with high tension." He already knows how to deal with it. I just have to believe in his direction now.
Hearing him speak quite calmly I was carried away feeling calm as well. There should be no stressful incident. We were just sent to talk instead of being sent for military operations.

"No, don't worry we'll get him to talk nicely, if he does that he's compromising the fate of all of his colleagues we've got here in his name, you've seen the talking points that Thomas sent you. We'll do a simulation exercise."
"Yes I've seen, I did want to take you to practice while talking about it." So that night we sat down side by side, talking quietly, because what we were talking about was the state security thing while writing what we were going to talk about and he helped me how I should have talked to Nicholai at first.
