Brother Zone
The Excessive Attention

Hm, kangen, huh? He has only been left for two days.

Dhika's words again ring in Tiara's ears. She smiled wryly and then shook her head slowly, dismissing the hopes that came up whenever the man said sweetly to her. The man was a nobody, just a stranger whom he knew nothing about, other than the fact that the man was the boss at the place where he sought sustenance. The man was always kind and considerate of her, although sometimes he liked to upset her.

He admitted, he had or may still put a taste in the young man he used to call an iceberg. However, the young man only thought of him as a younger brother. For three years he tried to temper his feelings, tormenting himself every time the feelings rumbled. He tried repeatedly to forget, but still his heart was difficult to turn away. Dhika's excessive attention makes her feel like a kite that continues to be pulled over, it is difficult to interpret the man's feelings for her.

"Hm!"

Tiara quickly turned to the source of the voice, gasping to see Dhika standing behind her with her hands pressed to her chest. I don't know how long he's daydreaming, so he doesn't realize Dhika's presence.

"Eh, sorry, Mas." Tiara stuttered, then tried to refocus on her work.

"Buruan, Mas want to malmingan, nih," Dhika replied while pretending to glance at her watch.

"What is Sunday night?" tiara asked, a second later she patted the eel, realizing her folly. Obviously the time display on his computer shows that today is Saturday, which means yes Sunday night.

"Eat he's looking for a girlfriend. So know when it's Sunday night. Singles, anyway, so lola," taunted Dhika.

"Ngatain single people, like having a girlfriend," Tiara said without turning to Dhika, staying focused on the money sheet she was counting.

"Udah, don't sulk. Ntar the number is longer," said Dhika while scrambling Tiara's hair, making Tiara more arrogant.

"Lt!" Tiara brushed off Dhika's rough hands, then tidied up her messy hair.

"Wait in the room. If it is finished directly inter, yes," said Dhika who replied Tiara just with a mutter. With a smile, he stepped into his room. Ignoring it was Tiara who still looked annoyed.

After Dhika passed, Tiara turned her head, staring intently at the wide back of the blue-shirt man as if he was about to stab her. He sighed softly. If he didn't think that Dhika was the boss, he would have ruffled the man's face. The man was always so sick of his solitude, as if he were the most terrible human being.

Yes, he is single, although he objected to the name. He prefers to be called single. Then, what's the difference? Bede. According to him, singles are fate while singles are principles. If only just a girlfriend, he sure can get it, even with his mediocre appearance. However, for some reason, he finally chose to be alone, without a special man in his life, other than his father of course.

Not wanting to dissolve in his own mind, Tiara sighed softly and quickly finished her work. Otherwise, Dhika will come to him again and make him even more upset.

"This, Mas. Please check first" Tiara said, handing over a map containing the sales report that day.

"Tomorrow. Mas already want to go home," said Dhika while putting the map given by Tiara earlier in the drawer. "Oh, yes, you eat, yes, laper." Dhika rubbed her flat stomach.

"Loh! He said he wanted a weekly night, why not eat?" tiara Protest.

"cancel. So instead you have to go. There is no rejection." Dhika pushed down Tiara's forehead slowly with her index finger and walked casually ahead of Tiara out of the room.

Tiara flicked her lips, snorted softly and then stepped up to Dhika.

💛💛💛

After traveling for almost thirty minutes, they finally arrived at one of the malls located in the center of Hero City. Dhika parked his motor matic on one side of the parking lot, after which he walked along with Tiara entering the mall.

The atmosphere of the mall is so crowded, maybe because of Sunday night. Looking at the several pairs of young people walking hand in hand, making Tiara smile wryly, there was envy that plagued her. He and Dhika used to walk together, but never once did Dhika hold her hand or just hold her hand when walking. Sometimes there is a desire in his mind to feel what it is like to walk hand in hand with a loved one.

"Eh, Ra, just eat there, yuk!" Dhika appointed one of the seafood restaurants.

Without waiting for Tiara's approval, Dhika had already withdrawn Tiara's hand towards the place in question. Tiara who had been engrossed in her own thinking, like a buffalo was plucked in her nose, just follow where Dhika took her. He looked at his hand held by Dhika, while his heart suddenly felt warm.

Just about to enter the restaurant, Dhika's cell phone ringing stopped their steps. Dhika reaches into her pocket, picks up her phone and checks who called.

"Mas Andre," Dhika said to Tiara who looked at Dhika with a questioning gaze, then shifted the green icon "Hello, assalamualaikum, Mas," he said.

"Dhika, can I ask you a favor?" ask the voice across the phone without further ado.

"What do you ask for, Mom?" Dhika scratched her non-itchy head. I wonder what kind of help her sister-in-law asked for.

"Look, Mas's brother is Adrian, he just came from Makassar, now he is at the airport. It just so happens that there is work to be done. Can you change to get Adrian?"

"Yes, thank you, Ka. You pick him up using your mother's car, yes, the car is at home, then later take Adrian directly to the house, yes."

"Okay, Mas," Dhika replies and turns off the phone.

"Ra, I think our meal is off, huh. There is a state duty" Dhika said regretfully.

Instead of being disappointed, Tiara laughed. He already understood if Dhika said the duty of the state, meaning there is an important task from Rena or Andre.

"It's okay. I guess there's nothing next time. Yes, there it is," said Tiara.

"Truly, is it okay? Or we eat for a while, take responsibility until here" Dhika bargained.

"No need to eat it next time. I'll just go, wait for it," Tiara refused.

"You?"

"Yes go home, why here."

"Who's the guy?"

"Slightly, you can ride a motorcycle or anything later," replied Tiara.

"Take you first, will you?" tawar Dhika again.

"No, Ara can go home by herself."

"Relatedly? Or not, go with Mas aja, yuk," asked Dhika.

"No, ah," Tiara refused quickly.

"Yes already. Mas pesenin online taxi only," said Dhika then opened the application on his phone. "There is no rejection" Dhika said when he saw Tiara protesting.

Tiara just nodded. Somehow the words 'no rejection' is always powerful to make him obey the words of Dhika. After finishing ordering, the two walked out of the mall with a feeling of disappointment clearly drawn on Dhika's face. Being able to walk around like this with Tiara was an extremely rare opportunity. Now that opportunity is gone again.

"Udah, Mas, just get here. If Mas wants to go, just go," Tiara said after the two got outside the mall.

"It's okay, Mas temenin until the taxi comes .. Well, this is the driver of the phone," said Dhika immediately answer the phone call.

Tiara looked at Dhika who was talking on the phone. In his heart he complained, again Dhika this concern for him. How can he erase his feelings for the man if he is constantly treated like a lover.

"Come, Tiara. The car was coming" Dhika said as she headed for the car - which stopped by the roadside - followed by Tiara.

Dhika opens the door for Tiara and lets Tiara in.

"Be careful." Dhika rubbed Tiara's hair gently, "when you get there, call Mas," her message before closing the car door, which Tiara replied with just a nod.

The car drove slowly, leaving Dhika still looking disappointed and upset. Tiara turned her head, seeing Dhika walking lethargic towards where her motorbike was parked earlier.

"That was his girlfriend, huh, Ma'am?" ask the driver.

Tiara stammered."Ah, no. That's my sister," Tiara replied quickly.

"Oh, kirain's boyfriend. The Masnya very attention to the problem," kekeh the driver.

Tiara smiled wryly, lazily responding to the driver's words. This is not the first time anyone has thought Dhika was his girlfriend. However, as it had been programmed in his brain, whenever others asked about who Dhika was, he automatically replied that Dhika was his older sister. Dhika's attention is excessive like a girlfriend, but that's the truth, Dhika is not who she is.

Seriate.
