Leaning on the Past

While chatting, Dhika and Rian walked towards the restaurant that was not far from the bookstore. Dhika canceled her intention to look for Tiara in the bookstore, after all Tiara was not necessarily there either. There was no harm in following Rian's invitation. Counting he kept his promise of repulsion last night.

The two entered the restaurant with steady steps, making some eyes on them, especially the teenagers who were engrossed in gossiping. However, both of them do not feel disturbed. More precisely, Dhika pretended not to be disturbed, while Rian remained relaxed, as if it was everyday food for him.

Rian took a position in the corner of the room, followed by Dhika behind him. After calling a waiter and ordering food, Dhika and Rian returned to chat.

"Kok those guys on look over here, anyway?" rian said as he glanced at the group of teenage girls sitting not far from them.

"They are concerned about you. Dikira lo boyband from Japan kali, or oppa-oppa Korea that," kekeh Dhika.

"What band?" Rian chuckled. "They're blown away the same time, bro."

Dhika just shook her head slowly, not intending to respond. A waiter delivering their order interrupted their chat. After the service left, the two continued the conversation.

"Eh, but you're changing now, bro, like a young businessman. Neat suits, shirts, cloth pants, leather shoes, do not lose the same as office people. Where to say it's really cool. Just so different it was the same time in college," praised Rian.

"Change is necessary, Yan. Time goes by, age increases, time wants so to continue. There is at least a little bit of movement in the better direction" Dhika said as she stirred up her drink.

"No, speak very wisely. You change like this, someone must change you. Who her? Definitely chick. I'm familiar with you, bro," rong-rong Rian.

"Yes. I changed because of the girl, the guy was Mommy Rena and my Mom, the person who was always there when I was hard," explained Dhika full of emphasis." And someone who managed to make me rise from the slump, he continued in his heart.

"Lo doesn't have a girl? Ah, guys are as cool as you, don't have girls? Don't believe me," Rian said in full search.

"Come over, believe it or not" Dhika replied as she sipped her drink.

"Trus you called last night, who made you smile, can't be a guy, right?" rian Goda.

"Yes no, I'm a fucker. That's Mitha, my cousin," said Dhika lying. Somehow he didn't want to tell Rian anything about Tiara.

"Dhika, Dhika, it's impossible to call her cousin's smile until she's so happy" Rian said in disbelief.

"She told me about her four-year-old son. I smile because I remember the child" Dhika said, praying that Rian would believe.

"O." Oo." Rian responded while being mangosteen.

After that no one made a sound, the two continued to eat in silence. Suddenly stiff atmosphere. Rian appears to have repeatedly wanted to ask questions, but is undone, while Dhika appears to be frightened, fearing that Rian will discuss the events five years ago.

"But I still can't believe that you don't have a girl. Is it because of what happened five years ago, you're keeping a girl's distance?" ask Rian carefully.

Dhika admitted to Rian's accusation. Since the incident five years ago, he has kept his distance from women. For five years there were only four women in his life. His mother, Rena, Mitha, last Tiara.

"Yan, I don't want to talk about it anymore" Dhika said slowly. His strength seemed to be sucked in instantly. Dhika feels back to her five years ago, a man who was slumped with feelings of sadness, anger and disappointment, who mingled into one.

"Yan, please, don't need to be discussed anymore" Dhika cut. "Gue I'm sorry you, otherwise there's no way I'd like to recite your invitation now" Dhika continued trying to smile.

Has he forgiven Rian? He himself is not sure. Given how tortured he was when trying to muffle the wound, it didn't feel that easy for him to forgive Rian. Even the traces of the wound were still there until now. Wounds that make him too afraid to love, afraid the same events will reoccur.

"Oh yeah, your relationship is with Sherly, how is it?" dhika asked after she could master her feelings.

Rian shook his head, "Not long after you suddenly disappeared, I broke up with Sherly.

"Can't you?" ask Dhika not believe it.

"long story. Do you remember Nisa?" rian asked, Dhika nodded as she remembered her younger sister. "It has to do with him. And my goal is to go to Surabaya, find Nisa," explained Rian.

"Yan, I think there's a lot of things I don't know. Can you tell me everything?" pinta Dhika's.

Rian shook his head, "Gue will tell you everything, but not now. I promise, after my business with Nisa is finished, I will tell you the same story," continued Rian with a reassuring smile.

Dhika nodded in agreement, although in his mind now arise various questions. What happened between Sherly and Rian until they broke up? Wasn't Sherly crazy about Rian? Then, Nisa. Rian and Nisa are indeed familiar, as they are in the same class as Rian. However, how could Nisa be involved between Rian and Sherly's relationship?

The various questions continued to rage on Dhika's head, until her forehead wrinkled from thinking hard.

"Hoi, why are you?" tanya Rian turned Dhika's mind.

"It's okay." Dhika.

Just as Dhika was about to return to asking Rian, the ringtone of the phone interrupts her. Dhika grabs her phone, opens whatsapp message. The look on his face changed, apparently a reply message from Tiara who told him that he was in the store that Dhika was going to visit earlier.

Dhika glanced at her watch, then got up and said, "Yan, I have to go back to the minimarket again . Inget, yeah, you owe me a lot of explanations the same."

"OK, okay," answered Rian although he was a little surprised by Dhika's sudden cheerful attitude.

Dhika shook Rian's hand, then stepped wide out of the restaurant. All the questions that were raging in his head earlier seemed to be unimportant. The most important thing now was to meet Tiara.

Tiara came out of the bookstore while carrying a paper bag containing the books she bought. With a smile, he approached Dhika who was waiting for him on his motorbike. Dhika had just told him that she was waiting for him in front of the bookstore.

"Well, did you come here?" tiara asked after arriving in front of Dhika.

"Your kangen .... "Not yet Dhika finished her words, Tiara had already hit her shoulder with a paper bag containing books. "Aw! Pain, Ra," her ringis while rubbing her shoulder.

"Makanya, if asked the right answer," said Tiara.

Seriate.
