Surprise From Rian

The ringing of the phone forced Tiara to open her eyes, but it seemed like her eyes were still reluctantly opened. With his eyes closed he fumbled around him, looking for the object that was the source of the sound. After finding him, he opened his eyes slightly, peering to see the name of the caller. His eyes immediately opened wide when he saw Rian's name plastered on the screen. Little wonder, why did Rian call her this early in the morning?

Tiara glanced at the clock stuck to the wall that showed the time at 10. He immediately woke up and gathered consciousness. Pause for a while - so as not to be caught if he just woke up -- before answering the phone that rings a second time.

"Tiara, where are you? You're not working?" rongrong the guy across the phone.

Tiara frowned confusedly, not usually Rian asked about his work. "I'm off today" replied Tiara.

"Oh, quick. I've been waiting, but you didn't come."

Rian's reply made Tiara even more clueless. "Where are you?"

"I'm at the minimarket."

"Well?"

"Dhika's missing. We all freaked out for him."

"Well! Disappear? How can?" Tiara's forehead wrinkled, in disbelief.

"Of course, the number can't be reached. She didn't call you or tell you where she was?" ask Rian again.

Tiara shook her head slowly even though she knew Rian could not see her. However, his brain worked without being ruled. His mind went straight back to what happened yesterday afternoon. Is it because their quarrel yesterday made Dhika really angry and then disappeared to calm down?

"Trus, what now?" ask Tiara.

"I'm kidding," Rian said in a serious tone. His voice sounded like it was holding back the laughter that finally broke into a ripple.

"Ih, basic!" grunts Tiara. He also did not just believe. How could a person as big as Dhika disappear? After all, this is not new, Dhika does often suddenly disappear and appear a few days later in good condition. However, he started to panic a little too, afraid that Dhika would really disappear.

"But really, Dhika is not here. That's why I went to the minimarket to transfer the spare key" explained Rian.

"Where?"

"There's. You get ready, in an hour I pick you up," said Rian who inevitably agreed by Tiara.

Though his intention will sleep as much as today. Last night, he had trouble sleeping and ended up watching a drama series until dawn. After dawn, he went to sleep. That's why he hasn't been awake since 10 o'clock. Lazily Tiara got up from the bed, rushing to prepare herself before Rian came to pick her up.

Tiara and Rian walked together into a cafe equipped with a karaoke room on the outskirts of Hero City. A man in a black and white uniform immediately greeted him. Rian handed the man a piece of paper, read it for a while and directly led them towards one of the rooms on the second floor.

The man opened the door, revealing a large room nuanced white with a minimalist interior design. A set of cream-colored sofas seen from the shape alone had made Tiara guess that the sofa must be soft. Complete with AC and karaoke with a large LCD TV.

“What aja, deh. Same with you is also okay,” replied Tiara. He could not think at all about what he wanted to eat, his feelings were suddenly uneasy.

“Oke.” Rian closed the menu book, coinciding with the man who had ushered them back into the room.

Rian got up from his seat, approached the man. Rian whispered to the man as if explaining something, while the man only nodded many times. Rian brandished the thumb followed by the man, then walked out of the room. Tiara could not hear Rian's conversation with the man, making her brain think more and more. Don't let Rian really have bad intentions on her, she asked inwardly.

“Oke, while waiting for the order to come, we sing first,” said Rian and then started choosing songs.

The main light went out, changing with a twinkling dim light of various colors. Rian engrossed himself with the song he was singing, while Tiara could not enjoy the song at all. Even when Rian offers her to sing, Tiara rejects him on the grounds that he cannot sing. However, it was suddenly dark, but Tiara could still hear the voices of people singing from another room. If there is a power outage, of course the other room will also die, but why does it seem like only this room is dead lights?

“Dead lights, Ra. You wait here for a moment, yes,” said Rian. Without waiting for Tiara's approval, Rian walked out of the room.

Fear began to attack Tiara. Tiara was not a person who was afraid of the dark, but this time she was really scared. Afraid that Rian indeed had evil intentions and Rian deliberately extinguished the lights. In his heart Tiara began to regret not listening to Dhika's words at that time. Want to ask Dhika for help, he felt he could not at this time, because said Rian Dhika could not be contacted. Or maybe because Rian knew Dhika would not be able to help him, so Rian began to carry out his bad intentions? Tiara no longer knew what to do now. He wanted to cry because he was afraid.

A few minutes later, the door opened again. The room began to be slightly illuminated by the light from the candle that Rian brought. Then, the lights that were originally extinguished, one by one began to light up with various colors, followed by a very familiar song in the ears of Tiara.

Coinciding with the song ending, the main light was on. The originally dim room, now bright again, shows the figure of Rian standing in front of him while holding a cake complete with a number 24 candle on it. The crying that had almost spilled, was now completely spilled. Not because of fear, but relief at once moved by what Rian did.

“Happy birthday, Tiara. Do’a best for you,” said Rian.

"Thank you," he replied.

Tiara wiped her tears, then laughed softly. More precisely laughing at himself with all his bad thoughts earlier. If indeed Rian brought him here with the intention of giving him a surprise, then Rian won. The shock from Rian completely left him speechless.

“You cry, Ra?” rian asked, a little confused looking at Tiara who was smiling while holding back a cry.

“Ngak, coke. Oh yeah, you know my birthday?” tiara asked after feeling calm.
