Meeting at Bookstore

Tiara skimmed the shelves, read every book title on display, picked up one that was interesting in her opinion, then read her blurb at a glance then put it back in place. And so on until several books, but absolutely nothing attracted his heart.

He moved to another shelf, his hands down a neatly arranged row of books while reading each title. He recalled that three months ago he bought a novel series owned by a famous author, and still lack two more books to complete all the series. He wanted to buy both books. Luckily, he found the two books on the next shelf.

However, just as he was about to grab the novel, a young man had already picked it up first and then passed it by. Unfortunately, the last series that was published was the only one on the shelf. Tiara quickly chased after the young man, intending to request the book.

"I'm sorry, Mom" he said to the young man.

"What's up, huh?" asked the white-skinned youth with the brows furrowed.

"No, the novel is for me. You see me first" he asked politely.

"Oh, you want to buy this novel too?" she asked, Tiara nodded, "Well, what a pity, I want to buy too. Wait a minute, I asked the officer, there are still stocks of what not," replied the young man. After Tiara nodded in agreement, the young man passed.

Shortly after, the young man returned with a disappointed face.

"There are no more stocks, he said next week there is only," said the young man.

"yeah. Yes, it's okay," he said disappointed, while the young man seemed to be thinking.

"Hm, the novel is for you. I'll buy it sometime." The young man handed the novel to Tiara.

"Eh, no need. I'm fine to buy," Tiara refused, feeling bad.

"Udah, take it." The tall youth of the 175 Senti range smiled sincerely.

She hesitantly accepted the novel and said, "Nothing, is it for me?"

The young man nodded. "Yes. Oh yeah, I know my name is Rian. You?" The young man extended his hand.

"Tiara," Tiara replied briefly as she shook the young man's hand.

"Greetings, Tiara," said Rian kindly. "Oh yeah, you're a fan of this novel too?" tanyanya.

"Yes. I want to complete all the series" Tiara replied with a smile.

"Well! How same? I also collected all the series. I actually bought this novel, but it was borrowed by a friend and not reversed. That's why I want to buy again" explained Rian.

"Do you like to read novels too?" tanya Tiara hesitated.

"Like. But the genre of fantasy is like gini. I don't like romance novels." Rian chuckled softly, while Tiara only smiled awkwardly.

Tiara noticed the fleeting look of the guy before her with a judging look. Slightly shorter than Dhika, white and boy band style. Rian was a friendly and supple person, that was Tiara's current judgment. Unlike Dhika who according to Tiara like an iceberg when first met. Talking is just that.

The thing that caught Tiara's attention was; rian liked books, just like himself. Rarely do guys these days - especially with slang looks like Rian-like books. According to him, usually the book lover is not far from the appearance of cupu and thick glasses. Even Dhika, who looked smart, had never seen a book.

"Near!"

Tiara stuttered. "Yes, why?"

"So buy the novel?" ask Rian.

"J-so," she answered briefly, trying to focus.

"Yes, if that's me first, yes. Hye!" The young man waved his hand, Tiara just nodded slowly.

The young man turned around, but only a few steps did he approach Tiara and thrust his phone at Tiara. Tiara was just confused.

"Can I have an HP or WA number, right?"

"Make what?"

"Hm, gini, I'm new here and I don't have any friends yet. Well, make friends may, dong," said Rian.

Tiara hesitantly picks up Rian's phone, types her phone number there, then returns it again. No matter if he gave his phone number to someone he just knew, count to repay the man for giving up and giving the book to him.

"Thank you. It's okay if I call later" Rian said.

Tiara nodded. "Together," he replied.

"Yes, excuse me" said the young man, then walked out of the bookstore.

After the young man passed, Tiara stepped back onto the shelf to retrieve the other book, then headed for the cashier to pay. It was completely unthinkable to him, that the young man he had just met, would become a part of his heart later on.

Meanwhile, Dhika stepped wide towards the bookstore. However, just as he was about to enter the bookstore, someone also walked quickly out, making the two of them barely collide and both exclaim in shock.

"Dhika!"

"Dian!"

"Why is Elo here?" ask Dhika at last.

"Find books. Elo himself?" Rian asked back.

Dhika scratched her non-itchy head. Should he be honest, if he is looking for a girl who he himself does not know whether the girl is in this bookstore or not.

"Oh, I want to find a fairy tale book for my nephew" replied Dhika slightly stammered.

Don't let Rian suspect that he's lying. Yes, he was lying. This was all because Tiara said she was going to the bookstore, but did not mention which bookstore, Dhika finally took the initiative to follow Tiara to the bookstore that Tiara used to visit. Who knew Tiara was there, Dhika thought.

"Buy the book later, huh. Mending us lunch first, it's time for lunch, huh." Rian glanced at his watch. "Elo also still has a debt to eat with me," said Rian.

"Duh, how, yeah." Dhika seemed to refuse.

"Come on, break it," said Rian a little forcefully.

Dhika seemed to think for a moment before saying, "Yes already, bentar doang but, yes. You know, I have to go back to work again" said Dhika.

"Yes. It's the same thing, elo." Rian hit Dhika's shoulder slowly.

Dhika smiled wryly. A fella? Did after the events five years ago, he still regard Rian as a friend?

Seriate.
