Chapter 21 Promise

The question asked by Aksa made Abhiyasa and Hani stare at each other. They were confused as to what answer would be given to their son. Because they are afraid to give him too much hope. And they don't want to disappoint him either.

However, they could not simply ignore the question. During this time they both used to answer all the questions Aksa had given them. Whatever it was, they tried to answer it as wisely as possible.

"Did Aksa really want a sister?" abhiyasa asked while smiling at him.

Aksa nodded her head. Then he said,

"Aksa wants to have a sister so that Mama and Papa are not lonely when I'm not home. After all, Aksa's friends almost all have a sister. So, I also want to feel like I have a sister."

Hani and Abhiyasa smiled at the innocent reply from their son. A very encouraging answer from both parents.

"Calm down, honey, soon Aksa will have a sister. But... Aksa must heal quickly and stay healthy, in order to be able to take care of the younger brother later," said Hani while kissing his son's cheek.

Aksa looked at her mother and nodded her head in response to her mother's words. Then he said,

"As Ma promised, Aksa will be healed and healthy again."

"Our smart son is Ma" Abhiyasa said as he hugged his son and wife.

"Aksa will stay in the hospital again, Pa, Ma?" aksa asked while looking at her mother and father in turn.

Hearing the question from his son, made Abhiyasa stretch his embrace. He looked at his wife to gesture at her together saying slowly to their son.

"Dear Action, as Antonio said, Aksa will return to undergo further examinations to recover quickly" said Hani, rubbing his son's cheek gently.

"Later, if we have to stay there again, Aksa is willing, right?" abhiyasa asked his son.

Aksa nodded in response to her papa question. Then he said,

"Aksa wants to heal, so Aksa must be willing to do all the doctor's orders. Isn't it Pa?"

"It's a real shame. Aksa is a smart kid. Aksa is indeed a hero of Papa and Mama," replied Abhiyasa while kissing his son's cheek.

"Yes already. We sleep now, tomorrow we will take a morning walk," said Hani while covering the bodies of the three of them with a blanket up to their waists.

After a while, a smooth snoring sounded from Aksa's mouth. Hani's eyes opened, she noticed her son's peaceful face from a very close distance. He looked closely at his son's face which made him feel guilty again.

Her heart was completely sick to imagine her son being in the operating room that would be done the next few days. Without feeling her tears dripping down her cheeks.

I don't know why Abhiyasa's eyes just opened. At that moment he saw the face of the woman he loved so much adorned by tears dripping on his cheeks.

"Honey, what's wrong?" abhiyasa asked softly while wiping the tears that were dripping on his wife's cheeks.

Hani shook his head. She was afraid that her husband would be disappointed in her for always crying in front of her. Then he said,

"I feel very guilty for Aksa, our son. I can't imagine what tomorrow would be like when our little son is in the operating room."

"Honey.. pray for the best, because our prayers as parents mean a lot to our children, especially you Honey, his mother," Abhiyasa said while staring intensely at the bead of his wife's eyes, trying to convince him.

Hani nodded her head, she was unable to say anything, her tongue felt a faint feeling her heart was so sore at the thought of her son being in the operating room.

"Once, let's go to bed. Tomorrow we have to make our hero happy before that day comes," Abhiyasa said as he gently rubbed his beloved wife's hair.

Slowly Hani's eyes closed. Abhiyasa closed his eyes, knitting his dreams together with his wife and son together.

The sound of chicken crowing and the song of birds that are earthy as if to be an alarm for nature will come the solar greetings.

Slowly Aksa's eyes opened, she felt very excited at this moment. Her mom and dad slept with her all night.

"Ma, Pa, wake up... Let's go for a morning walk" said Aksa while moving the bodies of his mother and father.

Hani and Abhiyasa's eyes were opened. The first thing they saw was their beloved son who was smiling and looking very excited this morning.

"Come Ma, Pa, we go for a morning walk now," whined Aksa as he moved his mother and father's body.

Abhiyasa and Hani stared at each other, they nodded simultaneously and immediately got out of bed while lifting their son's body simultaneously.

Laughter filled their room. Even that morning felt very excited for the three of them.

As per their promise, Abhiyasa and Hani take Aksa for a walk around their villa. Even just how many meters away, Aksa was carried by Abhiyasa.

If Aksa asks for his own path, Abhiyasa lowers him and lets him walk for only a few meters. He did not want their holiday event to be chaotic and sad for his son.

However, Aksa did not protest because Abhiyasa made him invisible. He told Aksa that he wanted to carry his beloved son.

After they were tired, Abhiyasa contacted Mr. Cecep to pick them up at their current place.

"Dear, we go home first. Later after we shower, eat, and rest, we go to other places. How's it?" abhiyasa asked his son who was busy looking around.

"Aksa wants Pa. Promise me, Pa, will we go somewhere else?" aksa asked with a happy expression.

Abhiyasa nodded and smiled sweetly at his son. He raised his pinky in front of his son and said,

"Pope promise."

Aksa also hooked her pinky on her papa pinky. Then she cheered in joy at getting the promise from her papa.

Hani and Abhiyasa are moved to see their son who looks very happy before he will undergo heart surgery at a heart hospital that he had used for hospitalization there.

A few moments later, Mr. Cecep came with a car owned by Abhiyasa. He drove the car with Abhiyasa, Hani and Aksa sitting in the passenger seat, behind the driver.

Arriving at the villa, they do their activities. And after resting, Aksa billed her papa promise to take her to another place that was around their villa.

Day after day they passed in the villa. Abhiyasa and Hani are really trying to make their son happy. Whatever Aksa wants they always give at that moment. They did not want their son to be sad before the day of the operation arrived.

"Dear, we'll be home in the afternoon. Tomorrow Aksa should check back to the hospital. When on vacation again, we will definitely come here again, as well as we invite grandma and grandpa to vacation with us. How's it?" abhiyasa asked as she gently rubbed her son's hair and looked at his son's innocent face.

"Aksa wants Pa. Aksa can't wait for our next vacation" replied Aksa with great enthusiasm.

"Yes, Mama get ready first. One hour later we leave, yes" said Hani as he moved into their room.

On the way home, Aksa fell into a deep sleep wearing her favorite doll pillow and bolster.

Hani looked towards the back, where Aksa was sleeping soundly there. Then he said,

"Abhi, honey, what if tomorrow Aksa's fussy or crying? After all he was still a child who got bored easily and was often fussy if not in a good mood."
