Abhiyasa guided Hani up from his seat walking closer to the operating room. Hani's hand gripped firmly Abhiyasa's hand which was both feeling anxious and worried about their son's condition.
"What's really going on? Why did the nurses seem to be in such a hurry? Did something happen in there?" ask Hani in a panic.
Abhiyasa could not answer his wife's question. He also frantically looked towards the operating room as if he was figuring out what was happening inside the operating room.
"Why so long? Why isn't anyone out again?" hani asked back in panic while looking towards the operating room.
Abhiyasa sighed. He tried as calmly as possible to deal with the situation. And he also had to be able to convince that nothing had happened with their son in order for his wife to remain calm at this time.
"Honey," called Abhiyasa while looking at his wife.
Hani turned to the side, where her husband was. She looked at her husband with a sorrowful look and teary eyes.
Seeing his wife like that, Abhiyasa felt very sad and unbearable. He looked gently at his wife's eyes, smiling and saying,
"Honey, we must calm down and keep praying for the smooth operation of Aksa."
"But those nurses-that nurse-"
"Keep, Aksa, our son is fine. You see for yourself, now the nurses are not out of the operating room anymore," said Abhiyasa trying to keep smiling and calm at this time.
Hani turned her gaze towards the operating room. He let out a breath that sounded very heavy at this moment. Then she looked back at her husband and said,
"Hopefully the operation is successful and Aksa can recover quickly and return to health."
"Amen... Hope you are, dear. Now we sit back, wait like that and pray to God that the operation will be successful without any mistakes being made in the operating room," abhiyasa said again while guiding his wife to walk towards the seat they previously occupied.
Hani and Abhiyasa, both of whom were sitting in the waiting room in front of the operating room, said prayers, asking God that their son's operation go smoothly without any errors in the operation process.
After a while, the door of the operating room opened. Dr. Antonio and several other doctors. Immediately Abhiyasa and Hani get up from their seats, they quickly walk up to doctor Antonio who walks out of the operating room.
"So, how's our son doing?" asked Abhiyasa who sounded very anxious.
"What about the operation, Doc?" ask Hani who is no less anxious with Abhiyasa.
Doctor Antonio smiled and looked at Abhiyasa and Hani in turn and said,
"The operation went well Oak, ma'am. And you can see if the operation only takes one hour and thirty minutes. Though usually this kind of operation takes one hour to six hours, so this operation can be said to be smooth and successful. However, we must monitor the patient's condition after this operation is complete."
Instantly Hani and Abhiyasa's eyes sparkled. Their lips both curled upwards hearing the explanation from Doctor Antonio.
"Is Aksa okay, Doc?" ask Hani curious.
"We will see the development later, Mom, hopefully the recovery process is fast so that patients can recover," replied doctor Antonio while smiling at Abhiyasa and Hani alternately.
"The patient is aware, please Father and Mother meet with the patient. Just a few moments, because the patient will be put back to sleep for three days in the ICCU room" said Antonio's doctor seriously at Abhiyasa and Hani.
Hani quickly meets Aksa, followed by Abhiyasa after saying goodbye and thanking doctor Antonio.
Aksa smiled at her mom and dad. He looked weak as he was still under the influence of medicine. Hani's hand gently rubbed his son's head.
"Dear Aksa, Aksa's fine, right?" ask Hani with teary eyes.
Aksa smiled faintly and nodded weakly in response to a question from her mother. Then he turned to look at his father who was next to him, in front of his mother.
"Aksa, Papa's hotshot must be strong, right?" abhiyasa asked with a smile and with all his might held back his sorrow.
Aksa smiled faintly and again nodded weakly in response to the question that Abhiyasa had asked her.
Abhiyasa gently rubbed his son's cheek while smiling and said,
"Stay strong and recover quickly, baby, so that Aksa can play ball back with Papa. Remember our promise to take a vacation, right?"
Aksa again nodded her head weakly and blinked both her eyes in response to her papa question.
Hani held back all her tears to keep from dripping. She did not want her son to know her grief and tears. Because of Aksa, his son did not like to see his mother's tears dripping on his cheeks.
"Sorry sir, ma'am, we have to take him to the ICCU right now" said Antonio, who is still nearby.
Hani and Abhiyasa kiss their son gently. Abhiyasa whispered something in his son's ear. Then he and Hani step aside, so the nurse can move Aksa to the ICCU room.
Doctor Antonio follows Aksa who is being transferred to the ICCU room using the patient's gurney. Arriving at the ICCU room, Antonio's doctor put Aksa back to sleep for three days. Then she and the nurse came out of the room.
Hani and Abhiyasa could only see from outside the glass-walled room. They felt very sad not being able to be near their son at this moment.
Aksa is placed in the ICCU room so that the air entering the heart must be completely clean and also no viruses or germs entering through the air. All of this aims to avoid infection in the heart that has been operated on.
This time, the doctor removed the meat cells from the groin and connected by being finely sewn into the heart bulkhead. Later in one year the cell will connect and become flesh.
In this phase Abhiyasa and Hani can only monitor their beloved son from the outside, through the glass surrounding the isolation room.
There was a slight feeling of relief felt by Abhiyasa and Hani. But their feelings of worry and sadness still enveloped their hearts. However they were both Aksa's parents, they could not bear to see their son who would one week later enter the age of three was struggling to survive.
When he saw the nurse walking in front of them, Hani remembered something. She asked her husband too.
"Honey, the two nurses who ran out of the operating room earlier why? Did something happen during the operation?"
