Ara & Al Chapter 23

Day after day passed, the situation inside Ekrem's house was still the same. Tuba and her grandchildren never stop cornering Ara and always try to find fault for Al to scold Ara. And vice versa, Al and Ara still maintain their charade. Sometimes they take the time to go have fun both come out quietly.

Today Al is very busy in the office, even his cell phone that repeatedly rings unscathed. His eyes were focused only on the computer screen in front of him and the files that were mounted on his desk.

"Aish! Why is it so noisy, after all who calls me during working hours like this!" muttered Al annoyed while turning off his phone without seeing who from earlier called him

Meanwhile, in a fairly famous lawyer's office in the city, Ekrem was walking back and forth. Every now and then he looks at the screen of his phone, hoping Al picks up his phone or at least calls back. But nil, there is absolutely no answer even now Al actually turned off his phone.

"Akhs! My granddaughter seems to be busy, she didn't pick up the phone from me at all" Ekrem said.

"Then what if you just came straight to your granddaughter's office?" ask the lawyer.

"I think that's the right decision. I can't wait too long" said Ekrem.

Al who was busy working was surprised to see Ekrem suddenly coming to the office with their family lawyer. Ekrem's serious face made Al wonder what was going on. He then let Ekrem and the lawyer sit down.

"It's my guess that you're busy, it's worth not picking up the phone from me" Ekrem said.

"So the one who called me was Grandpa? Ah, I'm sorry, Kek, there are so many files that I have to finish" said Al.

"What's wrong, Grandpa understands. Today I came here with our family lawyer because there is something important that I have to tell me" Ekrem said.

Apparently Ekrem's arrival to Al's office was to divert most of all the assets he had to Al. Hearing that, Al was surprised because the decision made by Ekrem was impressed suddenly. Moreover, there has never been a conversation with a large family related to the issue of asset sharing.

"All the assets I have I have transferred to be in your name Al. And I only have 10 percent of my assets to give to Tuba and her grandchildren" Ekrem said.

"Ap...What? Grandpa, what are you talking about seriously?" ask Al still can't believe it.

"Of course I'm serious and I came here so that you could immediately sign important papers regarding the transfer of this asset, before Tuba and her grandchildren knew about this and messed things up" Ekrem said.

Al was still quietly fixated on reading the letters proffered by his family's lawyer. Al then looked towards Al, he realized that indirectly Ekrem was talking about the inheritance. For him, it was too soon to discuss this.

"Why did Grandfather suddenly discuss about inheritance?" ask Al curiously.

"You know Al if I'm getting old, I don't even know if tomorrow morning I can still get up and breathe air like today. I want all of my wealth to fall into the hands of the right people and I don't want to regret it in the future" Ekrem said.

"Gosh, why are you suddenly talking like that? To me that sounds terrible" said Al.

"What if Aunt Tuba's family finds out and doesn't accept Grandpa's decision?" ask Al.

"I don't care about it, I'm still lucky I gave 10 percent to them even though their status is only a stepfamily" said Ekrem..

From the direction of the office hallway, someone was walking towards Al's room. As those inside Al's room were discussing about the legacy, Gohan unknowingly heard from outside. He stopped his footsteps immediately. Gohan paused her intention to Al's room to ask for an autograph.

"Basar old bastard! So he wants to give most of his assets to Al" Gohan said in his heart, clenching his hand in annoyance.

Gohan who heard it all became furious. He felt Ekrem's decision was unfair.

Especially when he knew if Tuba– his mother only got a 10 percent share. All this time he had been patient enough to be subordinate to his nephew in the office.

"This time I can't stay silent! I have to find a way to get what I've been after all this time, this family's fortune!" Gohan Mummings.

Gohan walked back and forth in her room. He was looking for a way to solve all this. It turns out that all this time Ekrem and Al played sneaky behind his family. Grudges and heartache are burning in Gohan's heart.

"If they can't be treated in a subtle way, then I don't hesitate to use abusive ways to get what my family deserves. Just look at you Ekrem, I'll make you suffer!" Gohan.

Ekrem had already finished his business with Al. He decided to go home, Al initially offered to take him home but he came here with his personal driver. Actually Al was worried, for some reason after the talk about the legacy of the anxiety began to haunt him. And it just so happens that there's a client who's been waiting for Al outside.

"Well, take care of yourself, cake. I have to see my other clients after this" Al said.

"Sure, you can count on me" said Ekrem and then exited Al's room.

From a distance, Gohan was monitoring Ekrem's movements secretly. He has made a plan. As Ekrem exits the office, Gohan immediately heads to the basement and picks up his car to follow Ekrem.

"This time you won't get away from me!" Gohan Mummings.

Gohan hopes to get the right moment to launch the action. Apparently Goddess Fortuna was on her side. When Ekrem was on his way home with his personal driver, suddenly the rear tire of his car broke. Forced, Ekrem had to wait a while until the car tires were replaced.

Gohan's dark eyes immediately took advantage of the moment to kidnap Ekrem. Gohan immediately put on a face mask and approached the car. He beat Ekrem's private driver with a baseball bat until he collapsed. He then sprayed the anesthetic liquid on Ekrem's face until he was unconscious. Gohan previously reported to Tuba. He asks Tuba to find a way to take Ara hostage.

"I've got Ekrem, now how do you get Ara" Gohan said by phone.

"Good! All right, I'll try to get Ara and take her hostage" Tuba said.
