Ara & Al Chapter 27
Al and Dika start attacking the rest of Gohan's men who are still wandering around the warehouse. After that Al saved the unconscious Ekrem. Gohan and all of his men were successfully incapacitated.
Meanwhile, Dika follows the rest of the team moving around to find where Tuba is holding Ara hostage. Not far from this abandoned industrial area is a vast pine forest. I don't know why Dika's instinct leads to the forest.
"I think we should comb the forest area, I suspect they are hiding there" said Dika.
Dika's guess is true apparently Tuba, Burcu and Erce hid in a small hut not far from where Gohan took Ekrem hostage. The three of them were instantly shocked as his hiding place was known to them. Dika's forces immediately secured the three of them. Dika ran towards Ara's body lying on the floor covered with blood.
"Take me off!" shout Erce.
"Don't you dare touch!" tuba rebelled.
"Call for an ambulance, someone is hurt here!" yelled Dika while checking Ara's pulse.
Soon, the sound of siren ambulance roaring filled the entire area of this abandoned industrial area. Ekrem and Ara were immediately taken to the hospital for help. While the course of the condition was already very critical, Ekrem's heart was already weakened and Ara lost a lot of blood due to blunt force stab wounds done Burcu.
"Please hold on, both of you" muttered Al in a soft voice unable to stem his tears.
Al's body is suddenly hot cold, fear and worry begin to haunt him. He could not imagine if something worse happened because he was not ready to lose the people he loved. His tears spilled when he saw the state of Ara who was previously still stuck with a knife on Ara's left shoulder. There is a guilt and regret in Al for not being able to take care of his wife properly.
"I'm sorry, Ara, it's all my fault. I can't take good care of you. You have to endure this because of the greed of Aunt Tuba and her family" Al said, holding Ara's hand.
After arriving at the hospital, the two were immediately rushed to the ER. After getting first aid, Ekrem slowly came to his senses despite being extremely weak. In contrast to Ara, because the puncture wound of a blunt object is deep enough, so it makes him have to get more help. The doctor sewed a wound on Ara's left chest.
"Mr Al, the patient ran out of enough blood so we had to have a blood transfusion to save Mrs Ara's life" the doctor said.
"Gosh, but is he gonna be okay, Doc?" ask Al worriedly.
"We will try our best to save the patient" the doctor said.
After a blood transfusion, Ara was taken to the hospital room. Likewise with Ekrem he asked to be treated in the same room with Ara in order to see the condition of his favorite granddaughter-in-law.
" Is Ara okay?" ask Ekrem.
"The doctor said he had gotten treatment, we just wait until Ara stealth," said Al.
"Thank God then," said Ekrem sighing in relief.
Al spends his time keeping Ekrem and Ara in the hospital. Every few hours doctors and nurses come to their rooms to check on their condition. Until suddenly the speech of the doctor at that time made Ekrem and Al surprised.
"How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Al.
"The condition is getting better, but we seem to have to do a follow-up examination of the fetus in Madam Ara's stomach. Here we find a bruise on the abdomen, we are worried if it affects the safety of the fetus it contains" said the doctor.
"What's? A fetus?" al was confused.
"Yes, your wife is pregnant, sir," replied the Doctor.
"Al, you don't even know if Ara is pregnant?" ask Ekrem.
Suddenly Ekrem felt his chest back in pain from hearing the doctor's words just now about Ara's condition. Ekrem's body twitched and made Al panic. The doctor immediately took action, but the heart rate detector suddenly stopped.
"Dok, what's going on?" ask Al with a sharp eye.
"Suster, grab a heart drive now!" doctor's Order.
"Okay Doc" said Sister then ran out.
Al's heart and mind suddenly mixed. His pregnant wife is critical and now his grandfather is also experiencing the same thing. It felt like Al ended his life rather than having to see the people he loved suffer.
Doctors repeatedly tried to spur Ekrem's heart, but failed. Ekrem dropped back and died of his heart disease.
"Sorry sir, we have tried our hardest but the universe willed another" the doctor said regretfully.
The instant Al's cry broke, his world seemed to be shattered into pieces. He passed through Ekrem's funeral without anyone to strengthen his heart. After the funeral was over, when everyone was gone, Al was still silent beside Ekrem's tomb while staring blankly at the tombstone.
"I promise to pay our family's grudge to Tuba and her grandchildren" muttered Al as he clenched his hands.
Three days after Ekrem's funeral, Al returns to the hospital to look after Ara, who is currently in the ER room. He accompanied Ara who was unconscious despite having gone through a critical period. Dika his personal assistant always faithfully accompany wherever Al is.
"Do you want a cup of coffee, sir?" tanya Dika offered.
"No Ka, everything still feels bitter on my tongue and I can't enjoy it" Al said as he stared blankly at Ara who was lying weakly on the bed.
"Alright, I understand Mister," said Dika.
Suddenly Al saw Ara's hand slowly starting to move. Al was grateful that Ara was finally conscious and her fetus could still be saved. Al immediately ran towards Ara and cried while hugging her stomach.
"Al what happened?" asked Ara in a soft voice.
"Thank God you can finally get through your critical period" said Al terdaru.
Ara immediately asked about her grandfather's state. Instantly Al only remained silent and tears welled up in his eyes. He then turned to Dika as if to code Dika to tell the truth because Al was no longer able to speak.
"Al, why are you just quiet? How's Grandpa doing, is he okay? I want to see it" said Ara.
"Eh Madam.." said Dika who was then cut by Ara.
"Well, what's really going on?" ask Ara.
"Mr Ekrem died three days ago from a heart condition he suffered" said Dika in a trembling tone of voice.
"Ti.. No way, that's a lie, isn't it, Al?" ara shouted hysterically then she fell unconscious.
