Ara & Al Chapter 3

Orange tinge of twilight sky decorate the Turkish sky this afternoon coupled with the breeze makes the atmosphere of the afternoon feel comfortable. Ara stared in amazement at the natural beauty that was in front of her eyes from behind the window of Al's room on the 2nd floor. Until suddenly a hand patted his shoulder which made Ara surprised and immediately realized from her daydream.

“What do you see?” al asked as he hugged Ara from behind.

“The sky this afternoon looks beautiful,” said Ara smiled.

“So it seems, but you have to take a shower soon because dinner is coming soon. You don't want Grandpa and the others waiting for us too long, do you?” said Al.

“Ah ... Alright, I'll take a shower now,” Ara said then go inside the bathroom.

Evening, Ekram was sitting at the dinner table reading a book, waiting for dinner time to arrive. He occasionally glanced at his watch as none of them had yet come down to prepare for dinner. Moments later, Afet and two other ministries came out of the kitchen carrying various dishes for dinner. The entire dining table is full of special dishes, Ekram does this as a form of welcoming Ara's arrival in their family.

“Afet, call everyone in this house for dinner,” command Ekram on Afet, one of the services in this house.

“Good, Sir,” Afet.

A few minutes later, the entire dining table had been filled with the entire Ekram family, of course Al and Ara were no exception. As the dinner progressed, it was seen that Ekram was very attentive to Al and Ara. That made his other family even more envious, especially Erce who hated Ara so much since she first came to this house.

“You like this food, Ara?” ask Ekram on Ara who looks to enjoy the dishes at this table.

“Yes, I've never eaten a dish like this before, and it's so delicious,” said Ara.

“I'm happy if you like it, eat as much,” ucapp Ekram with a smile.

Erce could not take her eyes off Ara who was sitting before her. The cynical look from Erce was apparently realized by Ara which made it go awry. However, since Ara realized that she was a newcomer to this house, she tried to remain friendly to Erce.

“Based on cheap women, he thought he could just get the heart of Grandpa Ekram and Al. Just look sooner or later I will kick you out of this house,” Erce said in his heart.

After the dinner was over, Ara and Al decided to go straight back to their room to rest. Of course Ekram is welcome, while some other family members still gather in the living room to just chat together. Again Erce looked cynically at the back of Ara and Al who passed away leaving the dining table.

Erce chose to join the other family in the living room while enjoying a cup of tea. The Ekram family has had this habit for a long time. They always spend their time after dinner to just chat.

However, this time Erce chose to sit a bit away from the others due to the resentful feeling that kept enveloping him. Burcu, realizing that his daughter was not well, walked over to Erce.

“I really feel disturbed by the arrival of the woman in this house,” said Erce with an annoyed face.

“Oh baby, not only you who do not like Ara, but me and Grandma Tuba also feel the same way. Looks like you have to talk to Grandpa Ekram so that he considers if he wants to accommodate Al and his wife in this house,”, said Burcu who increasingly makes Erce's mood hot.

Erce paused for a moment looking at Burcu, he then nodded and walked towards the sofa, sitting next to Ekram who was chatting with other family members. Erce pretended to be chatting with the others, but in the end she led the conversation about Ara's arrival in this house. This made Ekram and the others silent and turned their eyes to Erce.

“Grandfather, is it not excessive if there are people who have just entered this house and suddenly ask for a lot of luxurious facilities?” ask Erce.

“What do you mean?” ask Ekram.

“What I mean is Ara. He just came here but has asked for a lot of facilities and ..” Erce said then cut by Ekram.

“Here is Erce, do not talk that is not-nothing about Ara, after all he has become part of this family so it is natural that he also enjoys the facilities in this house,” said Ekram.

Ekram then passed leaving all of them in the middle room and headed to his room. Although Ekram did not understand what Erce said, he still tried to add fire to the hearts of those who were jealous of Al. Erce influenced all of them to join Ara and Al in this house.  And slowly his family began to be affected by Erce's remarks which were increasingly supported by Burcu and Tuba.

“Do you feel fair about all this? Look at us as a biological family alone never get facilities like Ara. While Ara who is a nobody is actually much spoiled by luxurious possessions,” said Erce trying to influence his family.

“Yes, true what Erce said even since the arrival of Ara in this house, Ekram looks always spoil her,” timpal Tuba.

“Ara is just a woman who wants Al's treasure. It looks not, he just came but has asked for all the luxuries that exist,” said Erce.

“Is it really that way? I thought she was a good woman, it turns out she had a hidden purpose,”, Gohan said.

Erce continues to corner Ara in front of her extended family to influence her family to hate Ara. They became even more resentful of Ara for assuming that her existence here could take over the entire fortune of this family. They believed all Erce said, but they did not know the truth. They did not know if all the facilities given to Ara were indeed on Ekrem's idea.

“You must believe me, if everything Grandpa Ekrem did was definitely based on the insistence of Al and Ara,” Erce said.

Hearing this, they immediately find a way and devise a plan to get rid of Ara. Of course Erce also took advantage of the situation to set Al and Ara apart. Erce would never allow Al to fall into the hands of a woman like Ara.
