A long night had passed, changed by the morning sun that rose from the eastern horizon to welcome a new day. This house has begun to be crowded with servants who do their respective duties. Afet as the butler in this house is busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast for a large family in this house.
While other family members one by one have been waiting at the dinner table for breakfast before starting their activities. Another case with the door Al and Ara room that looks still locked tightly from the inside.
“Morning breakfast is ready, Sir,” Afet said to Ekram who was still sitting on the porch while reading the newspaper.
“What others have gathered at the dining table?” ask Ekram.
“All are waiting for you at the dinner table, Tuan” Afet said.
“Alright,” says Ekram.
Ekram nodded and moved from his chair towards the dining table. When all the family members had gathered at the dinner table for breakfast, Ekram still turned to the left right because he did not see Al and Ara. Tuba had reprimanded him, but the answer that came out of Ekram's mouth actually made other family members feel upset.
“What are you looking for?” ask Tuba.
“Why have Al and Ara not been seen this morning?” ask Ekram.
“Already, you are too busy taking care of them,” said Tuba annoyed.
“Iya right, after all it does not matter if we have breakfast without them,” timpal Erce with a thin tone.
As they were having a small argument, it was suddenly Afet's chattering that made Grandpa Ekram smile. Afet had long been a servant in this family and was close to Ekram, so he was used to joking with them. But Afet's joke actually made Erca feel furious.
“I think that's a natural thing, sir. A couple of newlyweds sometimes like to forget time, they think the world belongs to only two,” Afet chirps while pouring orange juice into a glass.
“Hahaha .. Yes, you were right too, Afet,” said Ekram laughed.
Hearing that, Erca's heart immediately became hot because of the jealousy that controlled her. He clenched his hands under the table because he was upset. Burcu, realizing that, accidentally lures Ekram and other family members to corner Ara. However, Ekram always tried to defend Al and Ara which made other family members even more upset.
“Why Ara is so disrespectful, she should not make us wait this way,” Burcu said.
“I've guessed, he began to act as he pleased in this house, did he not realize if he was a newcomer in this house,” timpal Tuba.
“Have it done, just let them spend their time. They're both newlyweds anyway. Afet, you can leave food for both of them,” said Ekram defending Al and Ara.
“Grandfather always defended them both to the point of putting aside the habits in our family. Wasn't Grandpa the one who taught us all to be on time, if that's so don't you choose his name?” said Erce who could no longer resist her frustration.
“Stop to keep cornering them both, Erce. Do not make the atmosphere of the dining table in the morning this morning become runyam,” firmly Ekram.
The sunlight began to pierce through Al's window pane. Slowly Ara opened her eyes which still felt heavy. Al and Ara had just woken up from their sleep. Ara was surprised when she saw the clock on her phone screen, she wanted to get out of bed but was detained by Al. The man still wanted to spend some time alone on the bed with Ara.
“Isn't it time for breakfast? What if Grandpa and the others are already waiting around below?” ask Ara to panic.
“Oh come on, you don't have to panic like that. I think they understand why we both woke up late and had breakfast late. I still want to spend time with you here,” said Al while teasing.
“You're crazy!” said Ara.
Al laughed at Ara's sudden panic in the morning. Ara then pulled Al's hand so that he would wake up. Because Ara kept forcing Al to wake up and obey Ara's request. They immediately took a shower and got ready then went down to the dining table and joined the others.
Moments later Ara and Al appear, Ara's face looks red blushing with embarrassment because Al is always attached to her. Ekram smiled at the behavior of the two of them, and let them sit down to enjoy breakfast. Another case with family members who looked at the two of them with a cynical look.
“At last you guys came out also from the room, let's have a seat and enjoy breakfast this morning,” said Ekram.
“I'm sorry we're late because we woke up late,” said Ara who felt bad for letting them all wait.
“Nothing, we can tell him you two are newlyweds,” said Ekram with a small laugh.
Erce could not stop looking at Ara with a cynical look full of hatred, as well as the rest of the family. Erce's words some time ago about Ara's ugliness further made them hate Ara. Moreover, seeing Ekram's attitude that so spoiled Ara before all of them.
“Our family habits are always on time in any case, you should be able to follow the habits in this family,”, Burce said.
“Eh .. Once again I'm sorry,” said Ara while bowing.
“This is just a matter of being late for breakfast, why is it so serious about debating things that are not too important,” said Al in a flat tone.
Ara's words apologizing for being late were not touched by other family members. Instead Burcu continued to insinuate the two of them but Al did not care. Erce again used his weapon to try to corner Ara, but Al seemed to be a fortress of protection for Ara. It made Erce even more jealous and the atmosphere at the dinner table suddenly became awkward.
“Actually we both still want to be together in the room, but because Ara was hungry so forced to go down and take breakfast,” said Al deliberately to make other family members more upset.
“Al! Why are you saying that,” whispered Ara who felt.
“You don't have to be ashamed to admit it, baby. Isn't that Grandpa?” said Al.
“Hahaha .. You've always been so,” said Ekram chuckled.
Ekrem and Afet smiled at Al's words, while the rest of the family enjoyed their breakfast in annoyance. Especially Erce, wanted to feel like he was getting away from this dining table because he was sick of seeing the affection of Al and Ara. But Erce could only hold it back because he did not want to show his regret in front of Ekrem.
