Radio Broadcast Midnight 2

Radio Broadcast Midnight 2
Episode 1's

I was glued to Bang Win, Kang Saija, Kang Utep, Teh Hani, and Teh Opi, in the courtyard that was once the parking lot of Radio Rebel. We stared at a figure still standing near the debris of the rest of the fire, even though raindrops began to fall.

Originally, we were here to transport the items and files that were still saved at the time of the fire a few days ago, which was planned to be temporarily placed in Kang Saija's house. However, his arrival which can be said to be sudden, immediately stopped our activities.

Me and Teh Opi almost stepped up and intended to approach the figure to give an umbrella, so that his body would not get wet with the rain bow getting louder.

"Don't disturb. Rebel tea again needs time alone," forbid Kang Saija shrivelled.

His words made us fall back silent on the spot. Almost five minutes passed, as Rebel Tea approached us. The sad, disappointed look of even the tears caught by my netraku when he first saw the condition of Radio Rebel a moment ago, had disappeared completely, as if swept away by rainwater.

"Assalamualaikum," he said cheerfully. Opi tea hastily covered the woman with the umbrella she used.

Undeniably, sadness still looms over us, the broadcasters and Radio Rebel employees. Radio Rebel is not just a place to make a living, but also a second home for all of us. On Radio Rebel, we found that it doesn't take blood to be a family.

"Neither be sad. I've been planning a new location for Radio Rebel and will need the help of all the friends. The transmitter tower will start sending in two weeks. There's still time to settle in a new place. What is clear is that there will be more and more work there because we start again from the beginning" Teh Rebel told all of us at a cafe not far from Radio Rebel.

We looked at each other in disbelief.

"Really, Tea?" ask Teh Hani at the end.

Rebel Tea nodded. "Indeed, I've been planning to move to a new, bigger place. However, for one reason or another, the plan had to be delayed. And now, I think it's time we moved on."

"Alhamdulillah," said all at once.

"Please cooperate? You will be busy from now on."

"Teh Rebel isn't sad?" teh Hani asked in a raucous voice. From earlier he rubbed his eyes many times as he gazed towards the debris of Radio Rebel.

"Definitely sad. Like I said, I have a lot of memories in that place. However, his true memories lie in the heart and in the mind, not in an object or building. The building can be charred, reduced to rubble, and flattened to the ground. But, Nday's hard work and all of us, is on Radio Rebel. As long as Radio Rebel is still standing, no matter where it's located it won't be a problem."

"Before he died, Nday lived here with his parents. Afterwards, they sold the building and moved out of town. I can't tell you much, but I can say, if this is where our dream to make Radio Rebel began. And now, because of destiny, we can stand here. As you can see, this place needs cleaning."

After meeting a few days ago with Rebel Tea in front of the rubble-torn remains of the Radio Rebel building, this is where me and the others are, while staring fixedly at the building which is about five hundred meters from where I stand.

The main building in front of it, surrounded by a very large courtyard. Tall growing tares, indicating if the building is not maintained for a long time. Although not located on the main highway, the building is on the side of a large street and flanked by similar stylish buildings.

"Teh, this is a rich haunted house?" whisik Adul's. He came because he was called by Kang Utep.

"Sshhh, diem! Don't start" I warned.

"Let's go in," Tea Rebel. He pushed the iron fence that had rusted three meters high.

Although it looks a lot overgrown with weeds in the yard, the paving block road leading to the building is still quite neat and free of vines.

"Don't be far from me" whispered Bang Win.he clasped my hand tightly and occasionally turned to the side. We walked slowly closer to the main building.

My breath choked in amazement at the truly colonial-style building. The front terrace is higher than the courtyard and is lined with gray marble, high building ceilings, large windows with colored mosaic glass, and unique-looking supporting pillars, it creates a classic, elegant, and mysterious impression.

"His wealth is not able if the middle of the mall broadcast here, Teh. Afternoon gini aja serem, let alone malem," lirih Adul. Hani Tea and Opi Tea who heard Adul's words, nodded in agreement.

We all started to enter the building. A very spacious room, visible after the right entrance was in the middle of the building, was opened. Although it has not been occupied for a long time, the conditions inside are quite clean. It is far from stuffy because of good air circulation.

Opi Tea and Hani Tea note down what is needed for our new office, while Rebel Tea with Kang Saija, the new office, Bang Win and Kang Utep were discussing the arrangement of the room and saw the backyard which was planned to be a transmitter tower and several supporting tools were placed.

"Teteh, do you guys look around?" bring Adul. "Adul didn't see anything strange. Even if it's rich, the aura here is very cool."

We followed Hani Tea and Opi Tea around. There are eight large rooms in this building. There is also a pavilion that looks like a special reading room, because there is a semi-circular section of the wall with large windows with mosaic glass, making the room bright.

"Oh, this is a wall from the outside looking semicircular" muttered Teh Hani.

We continued walking to the back porch, which was connected to another building at the end of it by an open, cement-roofed hallway, with grassy courtyards on the left and right. Just like a hospital hallway.

"This serious? The same bathroom kitchen separated from the main building? Not practical, huh? If it's kebellet, keburu jebol right on the road," said Adul.

"Udah anyway, it's still good we got a new place for Radio Rebel. Thank you, protest!" myrag.

"Yes-iya, did Adu mah just say doang," he replied softly.

So cool to look around, without feeling me and Adul have walked away from Hani Tea and Opi Tea. We were already in the side yard covered in tall grass.

Duk! Adul almost fell because he tripped on a big rock.

"With a lot of big stones, Adu almost fell," he cried while holding his feet.

I did not listen too much to Adul's words because I focused on something that almost made Adul stumble. "Dul, it's not a stone," I said softly.

Adu, who was curious, turned his head towards my eyes. "Teh Inoxu, that's a rich gravestone huh?" ask Adul.

I was just silent and had no intention of answering Adul's question, even though the thing I was still staring at was indeed similar to a tombstone.

"Go ahead, yuk?" take me in while turning my body.

"Bent, Tea. Adul want mastiin is a real headstone or not."

"Udah ish, what a strange gosah! Come back, "take me again who was not listened to by Adul.

"Don't play there!" jolt a hoarse voice that sounded full of pressure.

My eyes looked around and found the figure of the old man staring intently at us. His extremely tall body allowed me to come to a conclusion if the figure I saw was not a human.

"Bang Win," I shouted loudly as I turned to run away and left Adul. Adul who was also surprised, came running after me until he finally stopped suddenly.

"Teh, help! Adul's legs are held! His hand held Adul's leg!" his yell.

I turned to look at Adul and saw the figure of the old man still in his place. The horrors of grief enveloped my heart as I imagined the old man's hand extending and touching Adul's feet.

"Yahoooo! Help u! Please," cried Adu's growing hysterical on the spot.

Walking backwards, I walked away from Adule and intended to run back when the old man was seen jumping, and I realized that before, the figure was standing on a large rock covered with grass. Quickly, he approached Adul, then bowed.

"Sir Obi? What's up?" The sound of Rebel Tea from behind made me turn my head and immediately ran towards Bang Win who was also there.

"This is Neng Bel, this Aa screamed because he said someone held his leg. As I looked, I did not know the snake" replied the man called Mr. Obi while showing a small snake in his hand. Adul who saw it shuddered and ran towards us.

"This was playing over there. That's why I forbid, because there are many snakes. Uh even on the run scared," Mr. Obi chuckled.

Rebel Tea grinned and introduced Mr. Obi to all of us. "This is Mr. Obi, who used to clean the building. In the future, he will stay here and help take care of Radio Rebel. If there's any need for anything, can you ask Obi sir for help?"

Mr. Obi smiled after releasing the snake he had held. After accompanying us back around for a while, he drove us back to the front because it was time to go home.

"The father lives here?" teh Opi asked as we walked towards the gate.

"his power. Why, Tea?" askaku.

"May live in a rich house. Time isn't scared, is it?" continues whispering.

"Don't Mr. Obi be the devil's handler" said Adul who made Opi Tea glare at him.

We continued walking as curiosity approached. Slowly, I turned my head and was surprised to find the figure of Mr. Obi, who had only a few moments ago let go of us.
