"Xu!" call Remi waving her hand from the terrace as I walk in the courtyard.
"Well, I'm here again, Rem," I said as I sat on the sofa.
"Youngawong! I'm not patient pisan, I want to return the broadcast."
"Yeee, right now mah broadcast experiment first for the ngetest tools the same connection," I said.
"Yes though. It's Xu's spirit, want the broadcast again rich first," kekehnya. "Eh but how does the simultaneous trial broadcast pas abis magrib anyway? Why not in the afternoon?"
"Smitch the electrical power of this building, strong if for example used at night simultaneously. If you can, the broadcast that is off the water will also be recorded at night, to be played tomorrow morning," I explained. "So don't need to queue richly in the old office."
"Well, cool pisan! So now if we broadcast the mall will not be alone really huh?"
"Yes ngga. There is a Mr. Obi who lives here. Adul also said he wanted to find a room that became a place to put musical instruments. Very far from home, if you have to go back and forth."
"Well, let's go, let's go, '" said Remi, whom I called. "Eh, jajan yuk? In front is a mini martabak, tuh."
"Wood!" myrag. We both stood up and started walking towards the front, where many merchants were selling.
***
"Hello all!"
"Assynnya!"
"Inoxu comes back to accompany the night break of all listeners!"
I'm raving in front of the mic because Remi is controlling the volume of the microphone. We started doing trial broadcasts, after congregational prayers in the mosque.
"Adul!"
"Strash! Pork! Pork!"
"Emak, Adul please do not mull mulu! Don't mind making Adul sneak into the fish colem! Amis knows the water!"
I laughed when I heard Adul's words. He was also raving to check the volume. In the corner of the room, Remi was still focused on staring at the monitor screen on the control panel table with Gia standing behind her chair.
"Xu, try the full broadcast? Later if I've muterin song, you sing," said Remi who I hung thumbs up.
"Adul also wants to sing dong," said Adul.
Remi nodded and began to rearrange the control panel. "Standby yak!"
Me and Adul nodded while waiting for a warning.
"3, 2, 1, go!" Remi raised her thumb.
"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi. Good evening and welcome to meet again with Inoxu and Adul in the Radio Rebel Bandung 12.08 FM trial broadcast for the Middle Night Story program.
This time we will present one song, to celebrate our reunion after about two months of stopping airing for a while, related to the fire that hit the old office of Radio Rebel. Please sway to the beat and have fun" I said starting the broadcast.
Song strains entered my sense of hearing through the headphones I was wearing. Adul himself had started to wander around in his chair. "Well, this is Adul's favorite song! Many say, Adul's face looks like a vocalist," he said.
"Yes really. It's similar, "I'm holding back a laugh.
"Liar said the witch. To me you're Britney Spears!
Oh oh ... I love you bibeh!
Let the word resemble a crocodile. To me Luna Maya!
Oh oh ... I love you bibeh!"
Adul sings loudly accompanied by my laughter, Remi and Gia, when the door opens and the figure of Teh Hani enters the studio by following the style of Adul who is still winding.
We laughed together and enjoyed this test broadcast. Returning the broadcast after a long enough stop, brought positive energy in each of us.
"It was I Love You Bibeh covered by Adul from Radio Rebel," I spoke again.
"Welcome to Teh Hani who has just entered the studio due to the enchanting song of Adul. And unfortunately all listeners, the end of the song just a sign that the trial broadcast this time is over. See you later on the official Midnight Story. See you on top! Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."
"Alhamdulillah" said all of us. Remi played the classic low-volume instrument as I removed the headphones. Tea Hani who was sitting by Gia's desk smiled excitedly.
"Current everything huh? Other studios in unison also broadcast experiments, the results are all safe. The electricity is the same as our server is not down," he said.
"Yahaaa! Can we broadcast another broadcast dong?" tanya Gia sparkled.
"Can! At the latest next week all Rebel Radio broadcast programs can already air," replied Teh Hani nyengir.
We engaged in small talk for about half an hour when a light clashing sound rang out in the window.
Bugs!
"What's that?" ask Adul for a moment. We all looked at each other with confused faces.
Bugs!
The sound was heard again and made Adul move closer to the window and opened it.
"Hey Jang! Don't throw the ball in the window! Make me shocked," cried Adul to someone out there.
Out of curiosity, I shifted my chair and was stunned for a moment when I saw the figure of a little boy in white, standing not far from the window. Near the boy's feet was a ball. The same ball, which a while ago hit my leg.
"There-there," asked Adul to the figure.
"She's right, Dul. Don't need to be served. Close the window," I said. I know clearly who that little boy is.
"Yes Teh, Adu closed if the boy was gone. If not, he will throw the ball again. It was a shock" replied Adul. He now moved his hand at the little boy as a signal to leave.
Worry began to pour over my day. However, since there is Hani Tea, at least I still feel calm. Teh Hani looks relaxed and just stares at Adul with a flat look. From the experience at the old Radio Rebel office, I can conclude that Teh Hani is not a coward.
"There go! Tomorrow if om not broadcast, we play ball together," continued Adul. His words startled me instantly and felt that something was going to happen.
Sure enough! The figure of the little boy slowly floated up and flew towards the window of this studio, where Adul was still standing.
"Sme!" yelled Adu aloud with bulging eyes.
With both hands still holding the window trellis, Adul's body slumped on the floor. She screams hysterically. "Astagfireullah! Mother help! Mama! Tolow!"
Me, Teh Hani, Gia and Remi, could only be glued to each other's seats as this happened quickly and left us shocked to death.
"Teh, get rid of Teh" I said with great difficulty to Teh Hani who glared and did not take her eyes off the window. The figure of the little boy was seen hovering up and down and grinning out there.
"Xu, run!" teh Hani shouted suddenly which shocked me for the second time. Teh Hani quickly ran out followed by Gia and Remi.
"An*long loader Xu's gear!" maki Gia who stopped running then turned towards me who was still in the chair. Roughly, he pulled me out of the studio and left Adul who was still screaming hysterically.
"What's wrong?" ask Mr. Obi who came in throng when he saw us running.
"There's a child demon, sir!" report Remi.
Mr. Obi was stunned for a moment before heading into the studio with wide strides. We who are scared and curious, follow behind him.
"Go home, Jang, tos Wengi (it's late at night). Tong ngaganggu daydreams keneh in dieu (do not disturb if you still want to be here)," said Mr. Obi slowly. Slowly but surely, the figure of the little boy seemed to fade until it disappeared completely.
Mr. Obi approached Adul who was still screaming. He recited prayers, then blew Adul's head slowly. Within a few seconds, Adul regained his consciousness and stopped shouting.
"Istigfar Nak Adul," asked Mr. Obi. Many times he led Adul to say the phrase istigfar. After things got better, we all came out of the studio and sat on the couch.
"Other times, if there is something strange, just ignored? Don't be curious, let alone challenging," suggested Mr. Obi gently. We all nodded and were still silent to each other when Mr. Obi said goodbye to the security guard post.
"Seeh why did you run? Isn't that brave little girl?" I was curious about Tea Hani.
"Xu, if in the old office mah, Teteh is ordinary. It's just the same weird thing there. If we're here, we're all new. So if there's something like that again, Teteh is afraid. The residents are different," he replied softly.
"Well, who's dong now? Teteh is also afraid of it," said Gia.
"Eh, there's Mr. Obi. It was really cool Mr. Obi when he told the boy to leave. Do not use abusive language, not angry, not jerking," continued Remi.
"Yes yeah? Mr. Obi kanya has been used to meet strange, so have not been afraid anymore," said I who is embraced by all. Although still trembling due to the remnants of fear, I feel calmer, because of the presence of Mr. Obi on Radio Rebel.
