Radio Broadcast Midnight 2

Radio Broadcast Midnight 2
Episode 42

I walked slowly into Radio Rebel. Today, all crews are invited to attend, to help prepare for the bazaar to be held by Radio Rebel and the vendors. Last week, a meeting was held to determine the concept of the bazaar.

"Dam! Really good lemes!" exclaimed Kang Krishna who walked up to me from behind.

"Yes nih Kang, very hot Bandung today, make lemes."

"Banyakin drink,Xu! Don't snack on maufu, "it melted back before waving towards the terrace, where Teh Opi is standing.

"Byeah! On its own, aja abis jajan in front," I said looking at some plastic bags in Kang Krisna's hand, which immediately gave a wide grin.

"Worse the Win! Bumil even let go here alone, instead of being picked up," said Teh Opi when I was sitting on the terrace sofa.

"I don't want to be picked up, Tea. Want naek angkot," I replied casually.

"Cie, the front guard in defending the husband this story?" Opi Tea chuckled and sat in front of me with Kang Krishna.

"Vendor has not sent display table for the product?" I stared at the Opi Tea.

"Awhile more. It was obvious that they were on the road" explained Teh Opi who made me nod.

"Duh, there's Bu Jejen here euy!" kang Krisna patted her forehead slowly. I turned my head and sure enough, Mrs Jejen was heading over here with gallant steps.

"Kerjain ah," said Kang Krishna who immediately stood up.

Quickly, I straightened my body and waited for the next incident. As soon as Bu Jejen stepped on the terrace, Kang Krishna immediately fell in front of him.

"You! You are always bothering my granddaughter! Who always hurt my cute grandson! What do you mean!?" kang Krishna asked in a blaring voice.

Mrs Jejen looked surprised and took a few steps back. The nether looked at me then at the Opi Tea.

"Karuhunnya (ancestor) dateng, ma'am. Because I like to disturb him constantly," said Teh Opi casually.

"Well, I just meant to make ngo—"

"Aing maung! Hauuum!" kang Krisna shouted which made Bu Jejen glare and suddenly raised his hand in a laughing style.

Without warning, Kang Krishna pulled Bu Jejen's hand towards him, then bit him slowly.

"Buck!" ma Jejen shouted in surprise while clasping his hands. "Yes, I won't touch my granddaughter again. Sorry!"

"How dare you touch my granddaughter. My bite marks just now will swell to the size of a mango. And you will continue to be in pain!" kang Krishna again

I held my stomach, trying to hold back the laughter that was almost gone. Netraku focused on looking at Bu Jejen who nodded quickly several times, then turned around to then run towards the guard post.

When his figure was not seen, me and Teh Opi released a laugh that we had been hard-earned to endure from earlier.

"Cape yank?" bang Win asked me who was sitting on the couch in his study. He just came in and gave me a bottle of cold mineral water that had been opened.

"Ngga cape, Hank. Just lemes," I replied after drinking half of the bottle. Some time ago, I had just finished helping Teh Hani, Teh Opi, Gia and Remi, to assemble and place the booth in the front yard.

"Don't do too much activity. Let others take booth bazars" he continued.

"Yes, Yank. Relax or." I pursed my lips.

I nodded in agreement while looking at the clock that indicated that it was late afternoon. "Yank, soon? Want to finish the booth that was there first, that's why I came home."

"Yes, Yank," Bang Win replied, before approaching and kissing my cheek gently.

Tok tok!

I almost returned Bang Win's kiss with a bite, when the door was knocked. As soon as the door was opened by Bang Win, it was Kang Utep who was standing in front of the door.

"Win, the vendor's goods for the bazaar already on the dateng. Where do you want to be?" tanyanya direct.

Bang Win seemed to think for a moment before answering. "In the boardroom. I'll follow you later, do help."

Kang Utep waved at me, then went towards the front, after confirming the words of Bang Win who came back.

"Yank, I'm going out to help Utep, okay?" tanyanya.

"I'm coming ah, want to see too" I replied as I stood up.

We both walked towards the yard, where there were already several open tub cars lowering many boxes containing products from vendors. Netraku himself, even more interested to see the booth that has been arranged along the page. Some of the broadcaster's friends, were installing a flickering lamp to make it look more attractive.

"It's cool, use the lights," I approached Teh Hani who was also installing the lights.

"Cool yak? Malem would be better. Buricak burinong kinclong-kinclong," he replied before laughing.

"Entar cobain nyalain oruh, Tea. Want to see," my timpalku who was taken by Teh Hani.

"Yes later huh? Abis praying congregation, we test this lamp."

I nodded with sparkling eyes.

"Not good, Xu?" tanya Teh Hani approached me, who was standing in the middle of the grassy courtyard, and took turns looking at the booths that were already decorated with flickering lights.

"What a great tea! Radio Rebel has become a rich cafe. Nice title tiker continues to eat in the middle here yes," I replied as I sat down on a neat grassy lawn.

"Well, it's good, I say, Inoxu's idea. Snacking while coffee here, exciting for sure," said Kang Utep who had just approached us.

"Sok or say, get a plastic carpet. Kasian tuh bumil, sitting time on the grass. Cold later," continued Teh Hani.

Kang Utep nodded before turning inside, to pick up the carpet. Some friends joined together, after the carpet was laid out. Adul and Kokom alternately bring glasses of coffee and also snacks in the pantry.

For a while, all Radio Rebel crews enjoyed the day after preparing for the bazaar event. It was moments like this that made us all feel like one big family.

"Where are you going, Xu?" asked Gia who saw me standing up.

"To the bathroom falter," I replied as I walked in. There's no one in here, all gathered and chatting outside.

After washing my hands, I rushed back towards the front when I suddenly accidentally tripped over a long cable, until the end came off the socket.

The atmosphere in the courtyard sounded boisterous as the flickering lights suddenly went off. Quickly, I grabbed the end of the cable and intended to plug it into the socket for the light to turn back on.

The strange sensation I felt made my body tremble violently without being able to control it, as my hand plugged the end of the cable. My head hurts and my eyes are twitching, when my body doesn't stop shaking. Within a few seconds, I fell to the floor, before the pitch-black darkness engulfed my body rapidly.
