Gia, Remi, and Adul were chatting on the porch sofa as I got out of the car and walked up to them with Bang Win behind me.
"Xu!" pekik Gia straightened her body. "Kok the broadcast anyway? No nausea, huh?"
"Ngga dong," I answered short while sitting down.
"Conveniently safe? Not dizzy?" ask Remi.
"Safe, calm down" I replied casually as I looked towards Adul. Immediately I raised my index and middle fingers to my eyes and pointed them at him.
"Ish, start the bar," said Adul to throw his face.
"Please persuade me, Oxu has not eaten anything all day" said Bang Win in a desperate tone before saying goodbye to go inside.
"Xu! Must be forced to eat! Later the baby in the dalem," jolted Remi.
"Yes, Tea. Although a little bit, there must be food coming in," added Adul.
"Relax, later if you want something, I just buy it forward," I said back to back. We chatted for a while, when suddenly my stomach rang quite tight.
"Teeth laper? Want to eat baso?" ask Adul.
I'm shaking.
"Chicken noodles?" ask Gia.
I'm back to shaking.
"Siomay?" ask Remi.
I'm still shaking. "Ish, no more wanting anything. I want to be put on it," I said, closing my eyes.
"Lotek wants? A karedok? Rujak's? Or want a stolen neighbor mango?" asked Gia again which made me open my eyes.
"Damn! So criminal you mah! Time is still in the stomach is given to eat not halal," sahutku sewot.
"Goodoo! Kan said pregnant women crave strangely," continued Gia.
"I don't think mah. Just relax, just innate now often sleepy. Wanted to fall."
"Yes, I slept in the room of Bang Win. Later if it's been deket hours of broadcast, Adul kasi tau," he bargained.
"Well, I want to be here. Adem windy," I said softly and closed my eyes again.
The breezy breeze played the hair child on my forehead and created a calming sensation. The vehicle on the road ahead, filled my sense of hearing with the occasional honking sound and the hustle and bustle of sellers and buyers seemed to occupy empty space in the head. It all makes me sleepy and asleep.
I fell asleep for a long time until I suddenly heard Gia's voice. "Xu, wake up Xu! Here, there's a martabak" he said, patting me on the cheek. After opening my eyes and stretching my body for a moment, I was fixated on staring at two dus on the table, with the famous martabak logo in the city of Bandung which is my favorite. One box is empty, and one box is half left.
"Come, eaten. No, it's been designed," tell Remi who I responded with a ring. "Well, why don't you want to? Seriously don't want to?" ask again.
"Want to, Rem. I want to drink, "I replied as I stood up and stepped towards the pantry, then poured cold water in a glass, and added some ice cubes. Very cold water, I can feel down the esophagus and give a pleasant cold.
With the rest of the water in hand, I returned to the front porch and frowned when I saw the contents in the martabak husk had run out.
"Allahu Akbar! Why?" remi asked in panic when she saw my expression
"Why does abis martabaknya ...?" tanyaku. I swear, I also don't understand why I'm acting too much like this. Suddenly, I felt sad imagining them happily, spending martabak without my presence.
"Said you didn't want to?" ask Gia back.
"Can was .., Now I want to," I said with a frown and saw Adul stunned at me, with the last sliver of martabak, which he just put all in his mouth.
"Euh, Adul. It was the same Xu again," muttered Gia staring at him.
"Dibilangin, two or three pieces, sisain" continued Remi.
"Huh, heh Inosu abek agih (Duh, Inoxu Tea is crooked again)," said Adul with his mouth filled with martabak.
Adul was still staring at me timidly.
"Yes it's been a gapapa, abisin aja," I cried again to act ordinary, as if nothing had happened. In a few seconds, I laughed to see the hard-earned Adul again chewing his martabak, while continuing to look at me as if I was afraid to be rebuked.
"The Inoxu Tea is pregnant, what's the trance anyway? Cepet really changed it," asked Adul lirih after swallowing with difficulty, martabak in his mouth.
"Thank you. Don't look for things, please! It is difficult to fight pregnant women. What is, we'll be wrong." Remi exhaled a long breath.
We were silent with each other's thoughts, when a car came in, with the sound of a horn many times.
"Jeez, the doctor kribo!" sahut Adu looked towards the parking lot. Not long after, the figure of the doctor was seen walking closer to the terrace.
"I want to ask for compensation with Kedul!" his jolt without a stale base.
"So much change people's names!" I said softly which made Doctor Abo turn his head and approach me.
"Inj too, Inoxu Tea. Not to deny my Kedul ngunciin, instead follow!" continue on with a high note.
"It will be the doctor himself who wants to grumble the sighting. Turn left, even fear itself! It's weird, "I'm relaxed.
Doctor Abo looks riled up. "I'm asking for compensation for my broken camera! Because Kedul lockin yesterday in a low-light room, my camera is damaged."
"God!" my jolt stood up which made everyone shocked. "First, the person the doctor calls Kedul is called Adul. Read more Muhammad Doulif, so call by name because there is no Kedul here.
Second, the camera was damaged by falling off the doctor's own leg when frightened. So, don't be so smart asking to come here!"
"Who said my camera was broken because of my own nagging?" reply again.
"The word of the Dutch devil who has no head ..., who from that night always stuck on the doctor's back ...." I said in a deep and soft voice, similar to the host of a horror story. In fact, I just made it up.
"E-Emang yes ...?" he asked for a moment with a hesitant voice.
"Youngpam!" sahut Adu was firm which made me stay away from Doctor Abo. "Still want some compensation? If so, let me tell that the demon nempel continues on the doctor's back. Let him sing Dutch song doctors. Who knows for a long time the doctor became a poultice!" adul continued.
Doctor Abo widened his eyes and turned away without saying anything. We stared at his car that turned in the parking lot and came out of Radio Rebel.
"Hayu, to the studio. Hold on for the broadcast," Gia took a deep breath. I took my phone on the couch, put it in my back pocket.
"First it was sok. Adul merselin this first, all drink," he said that we berbuki.
Passing studio one, the bottom of my stomach ached. His voice spread from the front, and penetrated to the waist. I managed my breathing several times, but the pain did not subside. Trying to be normal so that Gia and Remi would not panic, I quickly sat in my chair and pretended to busy myself checking the mic and headphones.
Bruk!
A bottle of mineral water rolled on the floor as Adul dropped it, and stared at me with a terrified look. My hunch is proven, something's not right. Gia and Remi looked at me tensely, in their seats.
"What's up?" my many.
Adul is silent not answering.
"Adul, what's wrong?" ask again.
Adul is still silent
"Account?!" my sentakku.
"A-There are so-a female figure who time i-it nempel d-in the wall again sniffing pe-belly Teteh!"
Brak!
I kicked down the broadcast table, and turned to the empty corner by my side, where Adul's eyes were staring. "If you dare to hurt me and my son further, I can repay him with a real deed. I can make you lose your home in a huge fire, a sign that I'm really angry. So, go and never approach me and my son again ...." I said quietly with a threatening and pressing tone.
For a few seconds, the atmosphere was gripping, before Adul was seen exhaling a long and relieved-faced breath, making me sure that the figure he saw by my side was no longer there.
"Hayu broadcast," asked the three of them with a big smile.
