Luyan watched her daughter who was busy studying in the living room. He had just received a complaint from his youngest daughter that Luri was being liked by one of Lady Liona's relatives who live in Japan. Who else if not Fedo Eiji, the eldest son of Mrs Abigail and Mr. Mattheo Eiji.
Maybe most of their parents will certainly feel very happy if their children are in a relationship with someone who comes from among the community. "Luyan, shouldn't we ask Luri directly if she's in a relationship with Fedo or not? We should not jump to conclusions just because we heard Nania's complaint. You know for yourself how nosy the girl is? I don't want us to be misbehaved which would make Luri sad" Nita said, stroking her husband's shoulder.
"He's learning, Nita."
"Yes, I know, but there's no harm if we ask for a minute. I don't want any misunderstanding here. Even if we do not come to intimidate him, we just want to remind ourselves to always be aware of who we are. I'm scared, Luyan. I'm afraid Luri would be disappointed if she made the decision to be with Fedo. "Don't hold it in Mom's heart, Dad. Just tell me, I will definitely listen!"
Nita and Luyan looked at each other. They then turned to look at Luri who was smiling sweetly.
"May I ask you something a little personal?" asked Luyan carefully. He did not want his question to offend this girl.
"What is this father talking about. I'm Dad and Mom's daughter, why ask permission? I also have nothing personal to hide from you. Remember, Mom, I'm a kid!" luri replied jokingly.
Luyan smiled. It was a relief to see his daughter this carefree. He was able to draw the conclusion that his daughter still did not have any feelings for Fedo.

"Dad, Mom, I know you're worried about me. I also understand you guys actually have no intention of preventing me from being in close contact with Fedo. It's true that Fedo has feelings for me, and so do I. I like him, I'm comfortable with his attitude. But that doesn't mean I'll ignore your feelings. I'm aware of my status, Mom, Dad. Nita and Luyan were stunned to hear their daughter's so wise explanation. Suddenly their fear turns to irreverence when they see the eyes of their daughter who has fortified their own feelings.
"Dad and Mom don't feel guilty. It's been my own decision since I had more feelings for Fedo. So I'm not hurt at all. Really!" luri said to calm her parents who looked sad.
"But you like it, baby. I feel like a villain who wants to keep you away from the man you like" Nita said.
"Mom, there are no bad parents for their children. There are only parents who worry about the happiness of their children. For example, Father and Mother. You must feel uneasy not when you know that I am liked by a man whose status is very far above us? Mom and Dad must be worried that one day I will be sad and hurt if this relationship continues. Aye right?"
Nita and Luyan nodded. They unceasingly offered their love to God for being blessed with such a good daughter. They did not have to bother persuading because Luri could understand by herself.
"It's already night. I'd better get Mom and Dad to rest in the room. Please stay healthy to see my success huh?" luri said then got up. She took over from her mother to push her father's wheelchair.
While walking towards the room, Luri and her parents discussed the scholarship competition held by the school. They also discussed what majors Luri would take if she managed to get the scholarship. What a warm and sweet family, right?
