THE SAVIOR'S

THE SAVIOR'S
CHAPTER 43 DISASTER IN THE PAST PART 1

Realizing that everything Sarayu saw was only a part of the past, Sarayu immediately wiped her face wet with tears. After cleaning her face from the tears and adjusting her breathing, Sarayu then walked away, leaving Redo and herself in the past just like that.

“Why did you go, Sarayu? Should you see all those confessions?” Winner cut off Sarayu's steps with her longer legs and jumped in front of Sarayu. “Back to the past, not everyone can do it.”

“What you said may be true, Winner. But. . . why do I see this confession? Confession that I've been missing for a few years now, will not change anything in the future.” Saratyu moved to the side to pass Winner and continued his footsteps again. “We don't have much time to remember this past of mine now, Winner. We must immediately find a way home for the sake of my comrades who are waiting for me and all those who are waiting for peace.”

Winner pulled Sarayu's arm and stopped her footsteps. “Now, when we are here and no one recognizes and sees the two of us, tell me why you joined the Ingmar Alliance, Sarayu?”

“Why do you want to know?” Sarayu raised her arm that was captured by Winner and attempted to release it.

“I just want to know. As I recall in college, you don't look at all like a girl who likes to exercise or do crazy things like you are doing right now,” explains Winner. “It feels like what you are doing right now, is not the real you.”

Sarayu stared flat at Winner. “Everyone will change when the time comes, Winner.” Sarayu removed her arm in Winner's hand and then accidentally looked towards the calendar hanging in a nearby club room. Sarayu remembered the room was a music club room where Redo often spent her time first.

“What do you see, Sarayu?”

“Winner, see the calendar inside that club!”

Winner looked at it and then saw the date on which she was now. “Is there anything special on December 26, 2020, Sarayu?”

“Did you forget, Winner?”

Winner looked at Sarayu with a look of disbelief and then began to show herself to Sarayu that she was the current Lord of Sarayu. “What should I remember, Bahram??”

Sarayu shook her head in an inexhaustible manner with the bad memories of Winner that had not changed even after so many years. “You're still as bad as you used to be, Winner.”

“You mock me, Bahram?” Again, Winner called Sarayu by the name of Bahram to indicate his position as a person to be served and to be protected by Sarayu.

“No, I'm not mocking Mr. Winner.” Sarayu replies to Winner in the same way even calls Winner with a Master call, just like before.

“This date is the date of the disaster in the south sea: Tsunami. Don't you remember??”

Winner is trying to recall the memories of his past where tsunamis have always been a disaster that attracted attention around the world because it always caused a large number of casualties. “I remember. The tsunami occurred on December 26, 2020 during the day. If I'm not wrong about one o'clock in the afternoon. The disaster took a toll of nearly one million lives as it spread across the island of J in Indonesia. As I recall the tsunami that occurred at that time broke many records in history because of the number of victims were very much, very fatal damage and also became the largest tsunami with a large earthquake.”

“Good if you remember, Winner. Now look towards that clock, Winner!” Sarayu pointed towards the wall clock attached to the wall not far from the calendar.

“Pat 11.30.” Winner looked at Sarayu with a look of disbelief. “Doesn't that mean that disaster will soon happen???”

Just as Winner closed her mouth, a shock occurred and made everyone inside the school building scatter out to save themselves.

“Huft.” Winner stroked his chest feeling happy if the current him was not part of the past and only a shadow. “Thank God if right now I'm just a shadow.”

Crick. Crick. Crick. Crick.  The sound of a crack appeared after the extremely loud shock had occurred. Bruckkkkkk. Booommmmmhm. After the crack was heard very loud. The cries of many students rang out in the ears of Sarayu and Winner.

           “Ahhhhhhhh.”

“Sarayu!” Winner held Sarayu's arm tightly. “Is there a building in your city that collapsed to make such a loud noise?”

“Not just one building. But many buildings.” Sarayu pointed towards one of the destroyed club buildings which was hit by the building right on the edge of the school. “The club room at the very end fell on the building next to the school. Then the historic buildings in this city were also destroyed due to the strong shaking, due to his old age. Then there are some other buildings that collapsed due to the foundation is not strong and deep.”

“That means this city has suffered quite severe damage due to the impending tsunami??”

Sarayu recalled something in her mind at this moment. He recalled how the disaster in the past - in 2020 - was a terrible disaster and should have killed many lives in the city he lived in. But in Sarayu's memory, he remembered that the city where he lived which had a distance of only 37 Km from the nearest beach did not suffer much damage. Sarayu also remembers well the city of J where she lived had the least number of casualties among all the cities that were on the southern path where the epicenter of the shaking or earthquake occurred.

           “There's a strange, Winner??”

“What's weird??” Winner asked still with her hand tightly grasped Sarayu's hand.

“The epicenter of the tsunami this time is only 10 Km from the city of J where I live. But. .. In my memory, the tsunami did not come here to this city.  I remember well, the tsunami did not hit this city and make J city as the only city with the least number of casualties in the tsunami that will occur in minutes.”

“What do you mean?? I don't understand.” Winner let go of his grip in Sarayu's hands. “Why is this city alone that survived the tsunami when it was at the closest point to the tsunami??”

“That's what I mean. There is something happening that makes this city not affected by the tsunami and only suffered damage due to the shock that has just occurred,” explained Sarayu.

“Then what will we do after this, Bahram?”

Sarayu looked towards Redo who was now busy gathering together with other students including the little Sarayu who woke up from her sleep due to the shock she felt.

“I have to check it out, Winner. After this I will go to the nearest beach and check what is happening there so that only J city is not hit by the tsunami. Do you want to come or stay here, Winner?”

Winner looked at Sarayu with confidence. “I'll come with you. Anyway, I have to stay with you. Didn't you say you'd protect me, Sarayu??”

Sarayu nodded her head. “Yes, I will protect you like I promised until my duty as your bodyguard ends, Winner.”
