CHAPTER 92 EPILOG - THE GUARD PART 1
Thanks to the help of a stone that draped itself around Sarayu's neck, the tsunami in Ethan's vision was finally stopped. Then with the deaths of the Knights of Arael along with the nuclear attacks unleashed by Knight One, the entire world was blatantly hostile towards the Arael Alliance. The boycott is happening all over the world. Thanks to that. .one by one the countries that were originally forced to join the Arael Alliance are now breaking away from them. In the end, the leaders of the Russian and Israeli states had to come forward responsible for the destruction of many countries and the death of many in the war. The leaders of the two countries along with all those who were the top brass of the Arael Alliance were put to death to pay for their actions.
Their deaths were the cover in the third world war and the day peace returned to earth. That peace really materialized like Sarayu and Ethan's dream until, unnoticed by them, ten years had passed.
“Mother!!!”
Sarayu turned her head to look at her son who was running towards her while calling out to her. Sarayu smiled looking at her son's handsome and extremely adorable face.
“Yes, Reinner. Why are you running like that??” Sarayu bent her body to embrace her son.
“Can tell me, Mother. How do I beat Uncle Ethan?? He couldn't see but always found me when I ditched the training he was given. How could Uncle Ethan do it??”
Sarayu twitted Reinner's ears. “You're ditching again??? Didn't you tell me not to ditch when Uncle Ethan gave you practice??”
“Ahhhh, geez, Mother. My ears hurt. .”
“Do not tweet his ear, Sarayu.” Sarayu sees Ethan walking with his wand approaching her along with Reinner.
“I'm sorry, Ethan. This son of mine is really naughty and unruly like his Father-Winner.” Sarayu released her jiwitat in Reinner's ear.
“It's okay, Sarayu. Although a little naughty and unruly, Reinner was a smart and quick-to-understand kid. Maybe because he quickly mastered something, Reinner so much faster feel bored.”
Reinner looked towards Sarayu and pulled up his sleeves. “Mother, when will Father come home and visit us?? I miss him.”
Sarayu narrowed her eyes looking towards Reinner with a small smile at the corner of her lips. “You can't lie in front of Mommy, Reinner. You don't miss your father but miss the toys your father will bring home. Missed the food and sweets that your father brought when he was busy traveling the world because of his work.”
Ethan suddenly whistles to call his horse which is wandering around to find food. The horse approached Ethan as soon as he heard his call.
“Mother, I want to ride that horse. This time I can do it, right? I'm tired of riding that slow-moving donkey. .” Reinner whined while pulling Sarayu's sleeves several times.
Sarayu looked towards Ethan, before finally looking towards Reinner. “Ask that to Uncle Ethan. If Uncle Ethan gives permission, you can ride it, Reinner.”
Reinner removed his grip on Sarayu's sleeve and changed into Ethan's sleeve to seduce her. “Can I ride it, Uncle Ethan?”
“Yes, you can ride it now. But. . If you run away from your training again, Uncle will never allow you to ride that horse again. How, Reinner??”
“I agree, Uncle. I won't ditch anymore.”
Without much ado, Reinner rode on Ethan's pet horse and made the horse run for several rounds. While watching Reinner, Ethan and Sarayu are watching and have a little chat.
“No wonder you insist on living in the mountains away from human life, Sarayu. Your son is really. . .”
Sarayu gave a small smile hearing Ethan's complaints about her son. “I'm sorry for that, Mr. Ethan.”
“Don't call me Master again, Sarayu. I am no longer your boss and now just a blind man who wants to live a quiet life with my friend and little nephew,” replied Ethan. “How about Winner? When will he return from his job?”
“It should be so. . so far he always comes home only on the anniversary of the death of our colleagues. This time. .. should he also go home after busy traveling the world to increase his knowledge as a scientist.”
Since the third war ended and since the Arael Alliance was dissolved, the Ingmar Alliance was also dissolved because its goals had been achieved. Sarayu, Ethan and Dylan who survived get a lot of thanks and gifts from all over the country. Thanks to that, Sarayu, Ethan and Dylan instantly become rich due to their wealth. Ethan donated half of his fortune to postwar repairs, while Sarayu donated his wealth to provide aid to postwar victims including death compensation. Dylan donated half of his wealth to his health and facilities to care for all the victims of the war.
After that. . Sarayu used a third of his money to buy a vast land in the mountains of Indonesia that is still uninhabited by humans. Sarayu built the tomb for his colleagues, building a house not far from the tomb site complete with plantations and farms. Ethan, who wants to live a quiet and peaceful life from the bustle of the humans, lives with Sarayu in the house after Sarayu marries Winner. While Dylan was sometimes busy with his research, he spent much of his time traveling the world learning things.
The reason Sarayu chose to stay in the mountains away from the crowds, first was for its tranquility. Sarayu was not the ones who recognized her as a war hero continued to adore her every time she met. And the second reason was the stone that was on his neck at the moment. Sarayu felt that if Sarayu stayed in the crowd and used her abilities, it would cause trouble later on. Because of that. . . Sarayu chose to stay deep in the mountains to protect the stone from the reach of those who might want the power of the stone around his neck.
In the midst of his conversation with Ethan, Sarayu who can now peek into the future gets a vision of his future that will happen after this.
“Sarayu?? You okay??” Ethan calls Sarayu's name when suddenly Sarayu does not respond to his words for a long time.
“Mr Ethan, call your horse now!!”
Ethan whistles to call his horse, which Reinner is riding. The horse immediately ran towards Ethan and made Reinner who still wanted to play again, whine in annoyance.
“Uncle why suddenly call your horse again??? I still want to play again.”
Sarayu took Reinner down from the horse and then gave Reinner a warning. “Listen to Mommy just this once, Reinner. After this. .take Uncle Ethan back home and hide in the bunker inside the house. Understood?”
“Why is that so, Mother? What happened??” Reinner asked with a confused face.
“Listen, Mother. Get in the bunker and whatever happens you can't open the bunker door until your dad gets home, okay??”
Seeing Sarayu's serious face, Reinner did not dare to ask any further. Reinner immediately pulls Ethan's wand to lead him into their house. But. . . Ethan, still confused with Reinner, refuses to leave.
“Sarayu, what happened?? Why are you suddenly asking us to go into the bunker??”
Sarayu touches Ethan's hand and makes Ethan see the future that is waiting for him in less than an hour.
“This??” ethan didn't believe it. “Dylan can't possibly betray us, Sarayu!!”
“I know that, but. . . just in case it would be better if you along with all the servants who are in the existing bunker and wait for the arrival of Winner along with some of his guards. To buy time, I will make a protector where Dylan and his troops will not be able to find our home.” After giving a brief explanation to Ethan, Sarayu shouted to Reinner. “Reinner, now quickly return home and do the order Mother.”
Reinner runs to pull Ethan's wand and makes Ethan's horse follow Ethan away.
“Wait, Reinner! Uncle is still not done talking to your mother!!” Ethan hopes Reinner will listen to him and stop his steps. But. . . Reinner continued to run towards the house like a fidelity.
“I have my son with you, Mr Ethan!!!” As the distance was already away from Sarayu, Ethan heard Sarayu's screams at her to guard Reinner no matter what.
Kreett. . . Reinner arrives inside the house along with Ethan and once the door is closed by Reinner, alarms of danger signs installed around the forest on the deckar of the home environment sounded and alerted all available servants.
