THE SAVIOR'S
CHAPTER 85 THRESHOLD DEFEAT PART 1

            With both hands locked by the large and heavy metal handcuffs of Knight Five, Sarayu looked towards her headquarters which was behind the forest near the beach. From the direction of the headquarters, there was the sound of a huge explosion plus an enlarged fire along with billowing black smoke. The aircraft coming out of the submarine continuously fired its missiles at the World Peace Forces headquarters. Now after the deaths of Seventh and First, all that remains is Ethan as Zero, Forth who guards the command room and Ninth who is in charge of guarding the base's defense. Sarayu could only hope that his three comrades along with the others would survive the attack.

            “Why don't you let Knight One kill me, Knight Five?” Sarayu was now staring intently at Knight Five gazing towards the distant World Peace Forces headquarters behind the forest near the shore.

            “You know Sarayu. . . I used to love my country just as much as you. I love peace just like you. Because of someone I like so much, I always want to make him proud and do the best I can. But the woman I love ended up refusing to be with me because in her eyes I was too far away to reach. She suddenly felt inferior near me and chose to leave me.”

            Hearing the story of Knight Five, Sarayu feels the story is similar to her story along with her first Redo-love during school.

            “Although I finally can't be with the woman I love, I was thinking maybe in the future I would be able to meet him again and when that happens I would be able to be with him. For that I continued to do all my efforts until I was finally accepted to study abroad. But something bad happened to me abroad, I had a severe accident and was declared dead by my country of origin.”

            “Then what happened?”

            “Knight One found me, helped me with my treatment and saved my life, Sarayu. That's why I owe him my life even though I don't want to do this.”

            Booommmmmhm. A very loud and ear-shaking explosion was heard by Sarayu and Knight Five who were on the beach. Because of the explosion, the land shook and the sea water churned.

            “They can't possibly die??” Sarayu muttered with a tone of desperate voice.  “Ruyi!!!”

            “What are you going to do, Sarayu???”

            Sarayu ignored Knight Five and moved with the remnants of the power she had. Sarayu's red wand appeared beside Sarayu and was ready to take orders from Sarayu.

            “Take me there, Ruyi!”

            Ruyi extended her body towards the World Peace Forces headquarters while Sarayu directly jumped on Ruyi's body and moved using her rollerblading towards the headquarters.

            “Sarayu stop!!!!” Knight Five moves after Sarayu but Sarayu does not stop even though Knight Five is after her.

            Boooommmm. . Strong explosions along with strong winds made Sarayu who had lost a lot of her energy fall near her headquarters. Now the only sight Sarayu saw was the blazing fire that devoured her entire base. Shouts of pain rang out from the direction of the headquarters and made Sarayu instantly fall limp where she was.

            “No. . . my colleagues.”

            From the direction of headquarters. . . Sarayu saw the figure of Knight One walking by carrying two bodies at her grill. Bukhara. . . Knight One immediately dropped the two bodies when he saw Sarayu was near the headquarters.

            “This is your colleagues, Savior!!!”

            Sarayu froze to see the bodies of Forth and Ninth who were exposed to many burns and had lost their lives.

            “Where is Ethan, Savior??” Knight One knelt down in front of the frozen Sarayu looking at the deaths of two more comrades. “I've ransacked Ingmar's headquarters and I can't find Ethan there. I have to kill new Ethan after that kill Savior.”

            “You???” Knight One cursed to see Knight Five blocking him from Sarayu.

            “Tuan. . I just asked to let this woman live,” Knight Five said.

            “No!! As long as he doesn't want to side with the Arael Alliance, I won't let him live, Knight Five.” Knight One lost his temper. “This woman is dangerous. He could kill you at any time like he did to Knight Three and Knight Four. Remember that, Knight Five!!! That woman in front of you was just your first love during your school!!!”

            Sarayu immediately rounded the two to hear a remark from Knight One. “What does that mean, Knight One??? Why are you saying that I am the first love of Knight Five??? Me and him never have a“

            Sarayu suddenly shut her mouth when she remembered the little story of Knight Five she had just told. “Is it possible that you are from the same country as me? Huge in the same city as me, Knight Five???”

            “Do you not recognize him, Savior??” knight One asked trying to hint Sarayu. “Maybe you won't recognize her because I've made her face change along with her life.”

            “K-you're Redo?” said Sarayu still with confidence about 60%.

            Prok. . . prok. . . Knight One applauded congratulating Sarayu for guessing correctly about the identity of Knight Five. “You are absolutely right, he is your Redo-schoolmate as well as your first love.”

            “If you are Redo, why are you on the side of the Arael Alliance and not on the side of our country?? The Redo I know is a loyal person and very dedicated to his country. He was the brightest star in the past.”

            “Didn't I say, it was my country that betrayed me. Then I stand by Arael's side to take revenge,” Knight Five said.

            “I can't believe it. Give me proof if you. . .really Redo, Knight Five??”

Sarayu asked Knight Five again, but Knight Five just kept quiet and did not give an answer to Sarayu's question. Rather. . . Knight Five asked Knight One a question.

“Since when did you know about my relationship with Sarayu??”

“Since you disappeared along with Savior and Winner. My spies in the Ingmar Alliance say that Savior and Winner were thrown into the past where a tsunami disaster occurred. Since then. . . I've suspected you, Knight Five. My suspicions then came true when you tried to wake the Saviour from her nightmare by hugging her. Saviors would not wake up from their nightmares if the hug came from a stranger. But. . .he woke up from her nightmare and that means you're the one she knows.”  Knight One then changed her question while raising her clenched hand. “Now. .. Tell me where is Ethan, Savior??? After you say that. . . I will escort you away along with your comrades to the afterlife.”

Sarayu remained silent and did not answer. Ethan disappeared from the base, it was impossible. Ethan is the leader of this army and he won't be able to leave his comrades behind. In his mind. . . Sarayu could only think of the only reason Knight One could not find Ethan.

Ethan is in the bunker with Winner. Maybe Ninth. . .maybe also Forth. . I think they purposely hid Ethan there to save him.
