Iyaz looked at the ghost of Marwah who seemed to look at the mother named Mardiyah with a gaze that was difficult to interpret.
“ Please drink, sorry We only have this at home..,” said Mardiyah.
“ Thank you, this is also more than enough for Us..,” said Osman is not happy.
“ Well that's Gusman home..,” said Mardiyah as the motor's voice stopped right at her door.
Iyaz and Osman turned their heads and saw a thick-bodied man with gray hair coming down from the motorbike. Seeing her husband enter the house Marwah's mother welcomed him. They spoke in whispers and turned to look at Osman and Iyaz.
“ I have to go. You can continue your business with Gusman.” said Mardiyah.
“ Well...,” says Osman while nodding his head.
Gusman smiled and went into the house to wash his face, hands and feet. Later he met with Iyaz and Osman.
“ I'm Osman, an old friend of Marwah. And this is Iyaz, the student who encountered the curious spirit of Marwah.” Osman said as Gusman sat before him.
Osman's words surprised Gusman but only for a moment. Osman seemed to light a cigarette and sucked it strong.
“ What does Marwah want..?” ask Gusman.
“ He wants to have his death revealed and the person who caused his death received a decent punishment.” Osaman said quickly.
“ He died of illness, what else to reveal..?” gusman asked riled up and it made Osman and Iyaz stare at each other in confusion.
But suddenly a table lamp fell from its place to make the three turn their head. Next to the table Marwah's spirit stood with the appearance of the last time it was found, face bruised and blood flowing from between the lips, nose and ears. He was angry to hear his father's words.
“ Why can it fall ?. This is Marwah's favorite object, what is he...,” Osman's speech is interrupted when iaz cut quickly.
“ Yes, he's angry. He was disappointed when you didn't care about him.” said Iyaz.
“ Dia..., Marwah..., here..?” asked Osman with teary eyes.
Iyaz and Osman nodded then looked towards the side of the table. Gusman followed their gaze and cried. In his cry, Gusman said many things that Iyaz did not understand. But Osman who understood what Gusman said looked down while wiping the tears that fell at the end of his eyes.
Seeing the father cry the anger of Marwah's spirit subsided. He floated near the sighted Iyaz
that confusion.
“ My father should know everything. Please help me...” said Marwah Iyaz.
Shortly after, Gusman wiped his tears and got up and stepped into his room. On his return, Gusman brought a box containing Marwah's letters and handed them to Osman.
“ Tell Marwah, not I don't care about her. I'm silent because I don't stop blaming myself for his death. I failed to be a good father to him. At times I cursed myself because the last time I met Marwah there was something she wanted to say but I ignored her. I love him, very...” Gusman said as he closed his eyes.
Osman opened the box and began to parse the contents one by one aided by Iyaz.
“ Have you read all these letters..?” ask Iyaz.
“ Yes...,” says Gusman.
“ Here Marwah says that you have to keep an eye on Mom. What does that mean.?” ask Iyaz.
“ Marwah suspects that her mother betrayed me and has a lover out there. But I'm sure my wife isn't like that. Even though he was chatty and fierce, but there was no abandoned home business. He cooked and cleaned everything in time. By the time I got home everything was neat and available.” Gusman said.
Osman and Iyaz nodded and asked permission to bring Marwah's papers. Gusman agrees and hopes that his son's spirit can calm down after everything is revealed.
“ Hopefully after this the spirit of Marwah can go quietly..,” said Gusman when driving his guests out of the house.
“ Aamiin...,” says Iyaz and Osman together.
\=====
Iyaz was observing a letter that Marwah had written to her father. The number of letters was eleven and all contained Marwah's anxiety about her mother's behavior. The ghost of Marwah who stood behind Iyaz also opened his voice.
“ I sent it because I've seen with my own eyes My mother cuddled with a man in the middle of the road..,” said the ghost of Marwah surprised Iyaz.
“ Cuddle, maybe it's his brother..,” says Iyaz.
Soon enough, Marwah's ghost returns with a tense face. Iyaz who just finished tidying up the letters Marwah also stood up and approached the ghost of Marwah.
“ Why...?” ask Iyaz.
“ She is here...,” says the ghost of Marwah.
“ Who is he..?” ask Iyaz.
“ Dark girlfriend My Mom. The man in front of you, his relative Idris. He is the man..,” said the ghost of Marwah.
“ Why hide. Let's go out and meet him..,” take Iyaz while stepping out of the room.
Marwah's ghost floated following Iyaz to the terrace of the house where Idris entertained his guests.
Upon arriving at the terrace Idris greeted Iyaz and introduced him to the man who was none other than the relatives of uncle Idris. The man named Malhaj smiled and returned the hand of Iyaz. Then they talked for a while. Soon enough Malhaj said goodbye because he still had to meet someone.
“ Sorry I have to go now...,” Malhaj said as she glanced at the clock on her wrist.
“ Soon yes Uncle, we just met after many years.
“ I'm here again sometime, because my friend is special. She doesn't like to wait..,” says Malhaj with a smile.
“ Ok, if about that one I can not interfere..,” said Idris to make Malhaj laugh.
“ Where is your Uncle going..?” iyaz asked as Malhaj passed through the boarding gate.
“ Want to meet his friend near the market there..,” said Idris.
“ Is your Uncle already married.?” ask Iyaz.
“ As far as I know not yet, why..?” ask Idris.
“ Gapapa...,” say Iyaz while stepping out the boarding area.
“ Where are you going..?” ask Idris.
“ Find wind..,” say Iyaz origin.
“ Find the wind, right here there is also the wind..,” Idris murmured while shaking his head and then stepping into the house.
Apparently Iyaz followed Malhaj. From a distance, Iyaz could see that Malhaj was standing looking right and left as if he was looking for someone. Before long Malhaj smiled when he saw the person he was waiting for coming. Malhaj hugged the woman and kissed her lips at a glance and took the woman away from there. His face stiffened when he recognized the woman who was with Malhaj was Marwah's mother, Mardiyah.
It turns out that Malhaj took Mardiyah to a small restaurant on the outskirts of the market. There they sat side by side. While waiting for their order, the two spoke seriously. Iyaz was sitting not far from the position they were sitting in and could hear the conversation of both.
“ Why are you looking at panic..?” malhaj asked while rubbing Mardiyah's cheek.
“ There are people coming home and trying to uncover the death of Marwah..,” said Mardiyah while observing her surroundings.
“ What, how can. Who are they..?” ask Malhaj gusar.
“ I don't know. But I'm afraid they are suspicious of Kita...” said Mardiyah while rubbing the sweat on her forehead.
“ We are not guilty, for what is afraid. Police could not reveal his death. Let's forget about that. Did you bring the money..?” ask Malhaj.
“ Ck, why do you always ask for money when We meet.” said Mardiyah upset.
“ I will also give you something Gusman cannot give you. So you have nothing to lose, right.?” malhaj said as he blinked his eyes to make Mardiyah's face blush.
“ Yes, yes. No, I don't have any more money. So accept the potluck first..,” said Mardiyah while putting some money sheets on the table.
“ Gapapa. I will be patient waiting for the next money..,” said Malhaj with a smile.
Iyaz and the ghost of Marwah stared at each other for a moment when they saw Mardiyah spending some money. Various negative guesses filled their heads. Soon, Iyaz left the place after seeing Mardiyah and Malhaj out of the restaurant.
