270. Trapping Gayatri

The Graha King looked calm as he listened to the stories of the three brothers. Back then there were only the four of them without Princess Hara.

“ I know that my wife has secrets and the possibility of her being involved with the loss of a royal heirloom is also very large. But I have no evidence, so I don't want to wrongly punish..” said the sad Graha king.

Two hours after the secret meeting of the Graha king with the three brothers, the Graha king called the entire palace to gather and face him.

Tension ensued as the palace dwellers were gathered in the room where the king used to judge the guilty. The palace was heavily guarded by special guards of the king's trust.

In the room appears present king Graha with Gayatri and Hara following their respective personal ladies. The king's personal guards stood behind the king and some spread across the room while watching everyone's movements. While the guards who used to serve around the palace were also gathered in the same room to listen to the king's orders.

Gayatri and Hara sat beside the Graha king while staring at everyone in the room. A smile appeared on Gayatri's face as three bodyguards entered the room carrying Iyaz, Izar and Hanako.

“ Why Dad calls them also Mom..?” ask Hara not understand.

“ It seems your father knows that they are the real criminals who have stolen our royal heirloom.

“ Impossible Mom, they're good people. They may not steal the object because they do not know how it looks.” said Hara defended the three brothers.

Just as Hara was about to answer the mother's words, the king of Graha raised his hand a sign that the trial was about to begin. Previously in the middle of the room was placed a table with a glass ball on it.

“ Does that apply to your three guests as well.?” gayatri asked in a slightly hardened voice.

“ Yes...,” sahut king Graha fast.

Gayatri also swallowed saliva with difficulty because he did not expect to have to undergo the examination process

same with the others. Hara also appears to stroke the mother's arm to calm her down.

“ To get rid of curiosity We are all here, then I leave it to my three guests to do what I said earlier..,” said the king of Graha while staring at Iyaz, Izar and Hanako.

Without saying much the three brothers did as the king commanded. After touching the powder in the dish, they touched the glass ball. Nothing happened to the glass balls because the three of them did not steal anything in the palace.

Then everyone took turns doing the same thing. After all, I finished the ritual

Suddenly a scream came from one corner of the room. It turned out that a palace ladyboy seemed to grimace while holding her reddish blistered hand. A moment later a shrill scream followed was heard in the room to make a noise.

Seeing the injured people made Hara and Gayatri pity. They tried to get closer but Graha blocked them. In the heart of the king Graha was happy because the wife felt nothing and that meant the wife was not involved with the loss of royal heirlooms.

“ And you guys, put them in jail after finished treated..!” the king of Graha said to his guards.

“ Ready Sirku...!” sahut the king's personal guards together.

When the Graha king turned his body back to his throne, Gayatri suddenly screamed loudly and fell to the floor to the surprise of everyone present. Both Gayatri's hands appear reddish blisters up to the elbows. Gayatri screamed and cried because of the unbearable pain.

Seeing the wounds suffered by his wife made the king of Graha peck on the spot while staring meaningfully at the wife. Gayatri herself appears to extend her hand as if asking for help from her husband but the king of Graha brushes off Gayatri's hand.

“ Why My Husband, you are disgusted to see this wound. It hurts and it's hot. Don't you want to help me ease the pain.?.” tanya Gayatri.

Hara, who saw her mother injured, intends to approach Gayatri to help relieve her pain. But Hara's steps came to a halt as Graha held her hand and pulled her into his embrace.

“ Don't touch her Hara. A woman like her doesn't deserve to be your mother.!” graha said loudly to the surprise of everyone who immediately turned to Gayatri.

“ What does Father mean...? ask Hara worriedly.

“ Your mother is one of those who wants to get rid of the rightful King. He is a traitor. And an unworthy traitor stayed in my kingdom and got all the facilities.” Graha said surprised Hara.

Hearing her husband's words made Gayatri shocked and embarrassed. He tried to reach Graha's feet while saying a few lines of defense.

“ You must not misunderstand My Husband, I am not a traitor. It's just the effect of the powder that's in that tray.” Gayatri explained.

“ How can it be wrong. Inside the tray is a magic powder that my guests have prepared to prove anyone who betrayed and malicious intent to me and this kingdom.” sahut Graha ketus.

“ What, so you set me up. You...,” Gayatri's words came to a halt when the pain afflicted her again.

“ It is camphor wood powder that has been diruqyah Tuan. If a person commits a crime by allying with the devil, then the affected body part of the camphor wood powder will blister, heat and hurt. While the glass ball is just a decoration and does not have any meaning.” Izar explained.

Hearing Izar's explanation made all those who had reddish blister wounds surprised and could not dodge anymore. When they were treated, they were led into prison pending what punishment they would face.

Gayatri was treated in a small room and not in the main room she used to live in. Initially Gayatri protested, but when the king of Graha explained why he was silent.

“ I work alone and for myself..,” said Gayatri while biting her lips to endure the pain that traveled her two hands.

“ Oh yes, but I do not believe.” said the king of Graha with a smile.

Then the king of Graha called a lady-in-waiting to bring a tray into the room and placed it beside Gayatri's bed.

“ Please Gayatri, You or I opened it..?” asked the king of Graha but Gayatri only glared.

Gayatri thought it was a food made especially for her. Since he was placed in that room Gayatri had not eaten anything. Graha did not care about Gayatri's attitude. Then calmly Graha flicked the tray cover cloth to reveal the contents.

On top of the tray was a cut off the head of a man with open eyes and a grinning mouth. Fresh blood was still flowing from the scar on his neck from the sharp weapon. Gayatri screamed and fell unconscious when she recognized the head piece.

The Graha King stepped out of the room with disappointment filling his chest. While Iyaz, Izar and Hanako still survive there because they know the battle is not over.
