17. About Adi

After the discovery of the body of a five-year-old child in one of the boats that docked on the island, the Faiq family became the center of attention. Everyone was curious and wanted to know how Iyaz, Izar and Hanako could find the remains of the little boy inside the boat. But Faiq and Heru make themselves ‘fort’ to protect the three and do not let anyone come closer let alone ask about the discovery of Adi's body.

That night the Faiq family passed the time in suspense. How not. Faiq and Heru are at the Hospital where Adi's body was autopsied. They decided to go home sooner from their short vacation because they did not want to make their small family uncomfortable if they were on the island longer.

Heru arrives at the Hospital to investigate Adi's death. Because it involves Hanako, Iyaz and Izar, Faiq was also present there.

When stepping closer to the mortuary room Faiq had seen many ghost sightings around the body room and one of them was the spirit of Adi. Seeing the arrival of Faiq and Heru made a fluffy smile on Adi's face. He floated closer to Faiq and greeted him.

Adi lives with her father Arya and stepmother Nadia. They married

a year ago. Nadia was married to Arya when Adi's birth mother was seriously ill. Knowing his love betrayed made the condition of Adi's mother decline and eventually died.

After Adi's mother died, Arya brought Nadia to her home and lived with Adi. Nadia does not like small children, especially spoiled children like Adi. By late afternoon everyone was being asked to gather by the group's clerk because they were going back home. No one realized that Adi was not in the group because young children the age of Adi continued to run around to break the concentration of the group committee.  After making sure everyone got into the boat, the group left the island.

While somewhere looks Adi who began to saturate hiding. At that time Adi was in a boat leaning on the beach. Adi tried to peek out and was surprised to find no one there.

“ Kok deserted, where the hell is.?” muttered Adi while trying to get off the boat.

When he managed to step on the sand on the beach, Adi also circulated his view. Realize that he is already left behind

by the group of people who took him, Adi was crying. His young age plus the atmosphere of a deserted island makes Adi confused. Slowly the beach began to darken and the sea water began to rise. Adi decided to take refuge in the boat where he had been hiding all night without food and drink and without proper clothing. The cold air and the night wind made Adi's body shiver and eventually fell unconscious.

No one knows Adi's whereabouts there including the island's administrators. Previously, the group's clerk had called asking Adi's whereabouts to the island's administrators. After inspecting the entire island and not finding Adi, the island's caretaker convinced the group's clerk that no one was left there.

Faiq breathed a long sigh when he finished ‘his search’. His eyes seemed to be glazed at imagining
