Fake Princess
CCCXXI Chapter
"Follow me," he said again moving his tail.
I thrust my hands forward splitting the sea water in front as my legs moved to paddle my body swimming forward. Sometimes my head turns to the right and also the left in turn... There are no coral reefs like the sea in general, there are only rocks that are composed just arbitrary in it.
"Through here. Be careful, it's very dark. All you have to do is swim straight and don't care about anything around. Do you understand?" His words stopped and turned to look at me, I nodded my head slowly in front of him.
The woman swam back to leave, I gave both of my feet to swim with her. My feet stopped, I looked at the mouth of the large cave in front of me, even from a distance... I can't see anything in it.
"What are you doing? Quickly enter!" The cry of the woman sounded from inside the mouth of the cave, again I gave my feet swimming closer to the cave.
My eyes darkened, I... Can't see anything around. Both my legs were still moving slowly swimming straight as the woman said. Even if it was a trap or there was an enemy lurking, it was certain that I would die without having a chance to fight here.
A light was suddenly seen from afar, my legs were getting stronger and stronger after the woman, who had swum first through the rock crevice. The woman stopped her tail, then turned to look at me...
"You did very well. If only, you wouldn't have listened to me and not swam straight like I said. Sure enough, you'll be stuck in that cave forever" he said, turning around and swimming away.
"Your name?" My words are getting stronger moving the swimming legs following him.
"Ebe, and you?" she said a little glancing at him as I had swam beside her.
"Sachi," I said, looking straight ahead.
"Well Sachi, we've come close to land. Be careful" he said, raising his head slightly, his tail back to the surface.
I moved my legs and swam after him. I closed my eyes a little as the sunlight fell on my face that floated on the surface of the sea. I bowed one of my hands to a soft pat on my chest that still felt full of something...
"Sachi, come closer," he said, turning to me, with his hand waving at me.
I swam back to him who was sticking his body on a large rock on the coast. Both of my legs moved to paddle water so as not to sink behind him...
"Are you tired?" Ebe said turning his head trying to glance at me who was behind him.
"You can lean on me. Because we do not know when the creature will appear," he said once again as his head was directed to look straight at the beach with a few stones arranged there.
"Then I'm counting on you" I said, pointing my arms around her neck.
"You are so heavy" he said, directing his hands to grab the large stone in front of us.
"Shut your mouth. Or I'll break your neck" I said slowly as my head rested on one of my arms that was wrapped around his shoulder.
"Make sure you don't make any noise when you see something disgusting. Or, the plan that we have made will fail" he said, slightly moving his head to the side of the stone in front of us.
"Because of the many creatures I've encountered, they all hate humans" I told him.
"You're right, I hate you guys. My mother died trying to protect me from human attack" he said in a trembling voice, re-directed his gaze to the sand of the beach mixed with rocks far in front of us.
"Then? You want to avenge you?"
"I'm not gonna do it. Because after I found out the truth, it was the aanjings who made the relationship between mermaids and humans deteriorate. That's why, I will avenge all the grudges I have on them," he said with one hand gripping the surface tightly on the large rock before us.
"Swimming, swimming to the side" he said again by moving his hands on the rock. I took a slow swim following his body which was hiding among the large rocks around us.
Ebe lowered his body into the water until only half of his face appeared on the surface. I did what he did while my head was fixed on something black floating loose there.
The black thing was moving more and more floating upwards. I looked at a beautiful white woman with her long hair floating around her body.
The woman moved her body swimming closer to the beach full of rocks. My mouth suddenly closed, I glanced at Ebe who was moving her index finger closer to her lips as if asking me to be quiet.
The woman I saw was moving her body back to crawl on the shore quite far from where we were hiding now. Which surprised me more...
The woman, has a tail like a sea aanjing with brown feathers that cover half her body.
The woman in the form of half aanjing sea crawled to the edge of the beach and turned to sit staring at the sea. The woman flicked her long hair back while her hands moved through her body filled with brown feathers like the sea aanjing.
The woman moves her fingers to touch the skin boundary between her human body and the body of the sea dog. He lowered his gaze as his fingers moved pulling at the fur-filled skin.
Ebe further pressed his palm against my mouth, I slightly glanced towards him before turning back to stare at the half-marine woman. That chick... And her sea-skin slowly separated from each other followed by the woman's hand that moved as if to release the skin.
I looked at the chest of the woman who had been covered in blood, strangely... He still moved his fingers skinning his own body.
The woman slowly stood up. His blood-filled body he carried walked through the sea water... And do you know? Even more strangely, there was no blood pooled or he felt pain due to the injuries on his body earlier.
The woman turned back, she again stepped closer to the coast. His body, I mean the wounds on his body... Has disappeared somewhere.
The woman leaned over as she grabbed the sea aanjing skin she had placed on the beach sand. He moved both hands to fold the skin he held and then turned to step closer to a large stone.
The woman knelt down with her hand digging out the sand under the boulder. He put the skin he held into the hole he dug and buried it again with sand around it. The woman moved her head to the right and to the left before her body stood up and walked away from the beach without wearing a cloth on her body.
"Are you ready? You know what we're supposed to do, don't you?" Whisper Ebe as he released his palm that covered my lips.
