The sound of the message notification distracts Keenan who was talking to Gerry and a foreign man who seems to be his man. At first Keenan was indifferent and only glanced at him at a glance towards his phone. But after learning that the name of Rayden's contact was in the notification, Keenan looked at it more closely. And since what Rayden sent was a video, Keenan rushed to open it.
"That time it was a photo of Zetta and Helia betting, now what else did she send?" inner Keenan.
Shortly thereafter, the video was successfully played. Keenan slightly frowned because the one in the video was apparently Zetta and Roan. After listening for a while, Keenan can catch if Zetta is currently helping Roan.
Keenan smiled wryly, then laughed with mixed feelings erratically. Between angry, funny and feeling irony. Zetta, who has been wasted and always treated badly while being his wife, still cares for Roan. In fact, his sister had never considered Zetta as a sister-in-law. It turned out to be as good as Zetta's personality.
"Zetta, why are you doing this?" inner Keenan while rubbing his face violently. There was a sense of shame after knowing the truth just now.
In the still-running video, Zetta's concern looks sincere. There was no image of compulsion on his face, instead he was seen occasionally smiling, albeit thin.
Whether what really makes Zetta smile, can help Roan or because it's side by side with Rayden. Whatever the answer, Keenan is less comfortable. There was a strange feeling that was hard to explain in words when looking at all of it.
"Sir, is there a problem?" gerry asked as Keenan stared at his phone with a difficult expression to guess.
"Mmm, no." Keenan put down his phone and tried to smile. "Oh, yeah, where did we get to?" continued.
"I've discovered the identity of the owner of this thing, sir." The man beside Gerry gave an explanation while thrusting a recorder pen in front of Keenan.
"Who?" ask Keenan quickly. I can't wait to find out the owner of this thing.
While waiting for an answer from the man, Keenan recalled the incident a few days ago. He was shocked to find a recording pen on his desk. Keenan was upset and curious as to who the owner was, daring to take advantage of him.
"Master, this recorder pen belongs ...," the man replied with a hanging sentence.
Keenan. He was curious about it.
"Seeing from his somewhat nervous expression, lest my guess is true, the owner of this pen is someone close to me." Keenan monologues himself in heart.
So far, Keenan's workspace is privacy and only certain people are allowed in. So, if something is not right, of course relate to people close. Either just working with others or doing it for yourself.
"This recorder pen belongs to Miss Helia" said Keenan's man at last.
"Helia?" reset Keenan.
Keenan looked surprised, to the point that his eyes slightly widened. It was unexpected that it was the work of her own lover, someone she trusted more than anyone.
In fact, unbeknownst to Keenan, Helia had long used the recorder pen, picked up and placed it periodically to get the information she needed. However, it was only a few days ago that Keenan found it. The man then asked someone to find out who owned the object, and it turned out that the owner was Helia.
"It turns out I don't know him very well. All this time I considered him plain and pure, but it turned out to be quite cunning. Ah, what else did I miss about him besides this?" Keenan is back.
He lowered his head while kneeling the temple, occasionally exhaling a long and rough breath. In his disappointment, Keenan began to wonder, is it true that this Helia he knows is a pen pal who often communicates with him first? So why do the two look different here?
"He always reasoned to forget when I discussed the past. Although he had an accident, but should still be able to remember even a little. Especially about tattoos, if he really is my pen friend, surely on his waist there is a tattoo of my name. That way he couldn't forget it. In addition, favorite foods and drinks are also not likely to change just like that, unless .. they are indeed different people," Keenan said in his heart.
"Mr Keenan." The call from the man he hired, awakened Keenan from his musings.
"Regarding that recorder pen, perhaps Miss Helia's intention was just a fad, sir. He just wants to know how your daily life is at work. Sometimes people fall in love is too much. Understand, sir, don't take heart."
"I'm the one who understands better what I have to do," Keenan replied rather annoyedly.
To him, the man was just a stranger. It's not worth giving wise advice. Because basically, Helia's actions are not something based on mere fad. The woman is not loving excessively, but rather using trust to take advantage.
Shortly thereafter, the man resigned. Keenan did not hold back because the business with him was already done. Gerry is the one who is in front of him.
"Master, I've found a company director who will make an acquisition with Miss Zetta's company. In addition, I have also checked the stairs where Miss Helia fell." Gerry gave a report on two orders given by Keenan.
"What did you find out from that place?" ask Keenan. He first discussed the place of Helia's accident. He needed a definitive answer to the conjectures that were beginning to fill his brain and mind.
"The lights on the stairs are very bright, sir. No one should slip, let alone fall and get hurt. This ... is somewhat of a surprise," replied Gerry.
Keenan nodded, "Alright. I understand now."
Again Keenan rubbed his face violently. Now he understood that the accident was not an incident, but something that had been planned. Helia accidentally dropped herself there, for whatever purpose.
Keenan closed for a moment. He recalls the video of the accident that made Zetta a suspect, which turned out to be just an edit. Then the recorder pen and now the crash on the stairs. Helia was not as innocent as she thought.
"Helia is not the friend of the penance," Keenan said with confidence.
"Master," call Gerry because Keenan looks dreamy.
Keenan was somewhat stunned and looked back at Gerry. He then asked for information regarding the director of the company to be acquired by Zetta.
Keenan looked serious as he observed the director's schedule of activities. Then, he reviewed a faint smile, as if forgetting his emotions just a moment ago.
"All right, everything's clear. Please continue the other work, "Keenan said later.
"Okay, sir, then excuse me." Gerry resigned.
After Gerry walked out of the room, Keenan picked up his phone and typed a message for someone. This time it wasn't Helia anymore she called, it was Zetta.
Meanwhile, at Roan's school the basketball game is over. Three rounds Roan passed with a very good performance. He won and managed to qualify as a core player.
A perfect smile continued to be etched on Roan's lips as he walked off the field. Feeling tired and tired he did not ignore, as well as the sweat that soaked the face and all over the body. To him, all of that had already paid off with victory.
