For a while, the director and Zetta both fell silent. They seemed to dissolve with their own minds. Seeing that, Theo took the initiative to provide an explanation, so that the director did not hesitate anymore and would agree to the submission of the acquisition.

"Miss Zetta is Keenan Pieters' ex-wife, sir. But, in that divorce he did not get a penny alimony. So, what we offer in this acquisition has nothing to do with Keenan. All purely our efforts, especially Zetta."

The director was still unmoved, but listened to Theo's explanation seriously.

"In the future we will provide even more benefits, if you approve this acquisition," Theo continued with confidence.

However, the director was forced to delay his answer because someone had come. They are Keenan and Helia. Without further ado the two immediately sat down and joined there. Greeting the director in a friendly manner, as if not seeing the whereabouts of Theo and Zetta.

"Are you guys following us on purpose?" asked Theo with a sharp look. He was already upset because Zetta and Keenan were like they were everywhere. The meeting was sickening this afternoon, but now we meet again. What an annoying coincidence.

"You're too confident. You think you're the only ones with business?" Helia stared lightly, and it made Theo even more emotional.

"You" Theo growled with clenched hands. He almost got up and vented his anger, profit was held back by Zetta.

"Don't make a mess. You didn't forget our purpose here?" whispered Zetta without letting go of Theo's arm.

The man did not answer and simply wasted a rough breath. Then slowly lower your emotions and return to thinking clearly. What Zetta says is true, he should not be careless or the acquisition plan will fail.

"Basic fucking woman!" theo in his heart.

He was really upset by Helia's existence, very disturbing. Especially if he looked at his innocent, yet arrogant and cunning face, it felt like Theo's hands were itching to land a slap.

"Master, just get to the point. I'd like to ask your decision regarding the acquisition submission we discussed the other day. So, how's your decision?" Keenan ignored the dispute between Theo and Helia, as there were other issues that were far more important than that.

The director rubbed his face a bit harshly. And after thinking for a while, he answered Keenan's question.

"For the moment I still can't make a decision. I will consider it carefully. Because incidentally, Miss Zetta and I were also discussing the matter of acquisition."

"All right then." Keenan replied with a heavy sigh, as if the director's answer was not to his liking.

In fact, Keenan deliberately set all that so that Zetta does not doubt the identity of Duck, and it turns out his efforts are not in vain. After hearing and seeing her conversation with the director, Zetta began to think differently. He was no longer as suspicious as before, instead firmly convinced that Keenan and Duck were different people.

"I think too much, thinking he's Duck just because he has something in common in negotiating. In fact, it could have happened by chance. But, fortunately, he's not Duck. I've been lazy to deal with him," Zetta's inner sigh as she breathed a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Helia felt annoyed and disappointed by the director's reply. According to him, it does not need to be considered anymore because it is clear Keenan is more worthy. Zetta and Theo are nothing compared to her lover.

"Master, I think it's better to be approved directly by the acquisition submission from Keenan. There is no need to be considered anymore because it is just a waste of time. Everyone knows Keenan's abilities. You must get a lot of benefits if you choose him," said Helia. Without him noticing, his haughty look was clearly visible. He was so sure that the director would choose Keenan.

Zetta and Theo held back a laugh upon seeing her. Both of them greatly enjoyed Helia's face which looked to be holding in shame. Beside him, Keenan was busy apologizing to the director. However, all that he did was to convince Zetta, so that there would be no suspicion in the least.

"Previously sorry, Mr. Keenan, it looks like I'm going to let you down. The acquisition you submitted, with a heavy heart I refuse. For the rest, I will receive a submission from Miss Zetta" the director said after a long conversation with Keenan.

Keenan looked to be breathing heavily.

"Well, I accept your decision" the man said later. While Helia clearly showed her frustration.

Soon, Keenan and Helia resigned. Keenan was satisfied that Zetta finally managed to acquire the company. Keenan did not care even though it made his lover disappointed.

After Keenan and Helia, the director resumed his conversation with Zetta. The woman was very grateful that her acquisition submission was finally accepted. It was not in vain that he kept trying, because the final result was in line with expectations.

"The contract has been signed. I hope this cooperation goes well and benefits both parties" said the director after completing the signature on the contract letter.

"I will try my best, sir. Again, thank you very much for today." Zetta nodded respectfully, then kept the contract letter.

Since the acquisition was over, they continued the meeting with dinner. On the sidelines of his activities, Zetta again sent a message to Duck.

'Good night, Sir. I want to say a lot of thanks. Thanks to your guidance, I managed to convince the director of the company I was about to acquire.'

Zetta's smile expanded when the message was sent. One second, two seconds, he's waiting for a reply. However, until a few minutes passed there was also no reply from Duck.

"Maybe he's busy," Zetta's inner self while keeping her phone. Then, he refocused on the dishes that were on the table.

It didn't take long, they had already finished their dinner. The three walked together as they exited the restaurant. Then, shake hands before getting into each other's cars.

"I still don't think this really works. What a great achievement, Theo," Zetta said as the car rolled down the road.

"You're the pessimist. I was pretty sure this would work from the beginning." Theo glanced at Zetta at a glance.

"Based on arrogance." Zetta pinched Theo's arm while laughing loudly, and Theo laughed when he saw Zetta's reaction.

"To celebrate today's success, how about now we go to the hot spring bath? It's exciting" Theo bargained a moment later.

"Mmm, can. I thought I needed some relaxation." Zetta nods in favor of Theo's invitation.
