Eps. #18 Floretta's Honest Confession

Baruna speaks a thousand languages. He could only stare into Floretta's eyes which were also staring at him. He did not expect that Flo, the woman who looks so innocent in his eyes was a masked sexy dancer who became an idol in a nightclub where she used to hang out with her friends.

After knowing all these things, various questions now appeared to fill his heart.

"Why are you ..." Baruna shook her head.

"I had to do all this, Baruna!" flo said, cutting Baruna's question. He knew right away, where Baruna was going to ask him.

Flo lowered her face, suddenly there was a hue of sadness implied from her face.

Baruna went back in silence and looked at Flo's face with a question mark. However, when he saw that face turn soft, Baruna no longer wanted to ask anything. From the look on Flo's face at that moment, it clearly showed a sense of pressure. Of course, his profession as a sexy dancer in the nightclub, he did so with great force.

"Baruna, come! We need to get out of here, before those guys come after us!" There was another voice shouting Jeffrey, calling out to him from the car he was driving with Tobias. The car quickly approached him.

Baruna immediately turned her head towards the road and raised her hand to cover her eyes which were instantly glared by the look of Tobias' car lights, which led right to her position at that moment.

"Wear your mask again, Flo!" baruna orders Flo, because she doesn't want Jeffrey and Tobias to see Flo's real face.

Without rebutting, Flo rushed back to put on his mask.

Baruna then pulled Flo's hand to get her into Tobias' car. The car drove back quickly leaving the place.

"Hey, you're the sexy dancer at the club, right?" jeffrey asked Flo, as they were all in one car that was speeding on the city road.

Flo simply lowered her head and did not answer Jeffrey's question.

"Why did you run away from that guy? If I'd noticed that guy's got to be a lot of money, right?" As Flo did not answer his question, Jeffrey again continued to ask.

Like the rumors they had heard at the club, Jeffrey knew that Flo was reportedly willing to sell his girlfriends for a very high price. In Jeffrey's mind, the fat man who wanted to catch Flo must have paid him a lot of money.

Flo fell silent again, confused as to how to answer Jeffrey's question. Because if he answers, Jeffrey will definitely go back to asking questions about him.

"Shut up, Jeff! Don't ask him anything, he's still in shock!" sergeant Baruna. "Take us to my villa now!" baruna's orders. Realizing that Flo was silent and did not answer, he immediately switched all of Jeffrey's questions.

When he arrived at the entrance villa he rented, Baruna immediately brought Flo down from the car.

"Have a good time, Bar! Once you're bored, share with us" whispered Jeffrey grinning.

Baruna did not reply, she simply flicked her lips and directed her sharp gaze at Jeffrey while pulling Flo's hand, bringing him rushing into her villa.

Without a doubt, Flo was willing to enter the villa. For some reason, there was no fear he felt towards Baruna. Although he knew Baruna lived alone in his village, Flo was not the least bit worried that Baruna could do something bad to him.

"Drink first, Flo!" Baruna handed Flo a bottle of mineral water. Immediately, Flo grabbed the water bottle from Baruna's hand and gulped it down. All the things that happened to him earlier, had already made his throat very dry.

"Thank you very much, Baruna. You helped me a second time" said Flo, feeling indebted because Baruna had saved her from the man who wanted to catch her.

"What's really going on, Flo?" ask Baruna. Indeed, he was very curious about the figure of the woman who was now in front of him, many things he wanted to know from a Floretta. Baruna then sat down on the sofa in front of Flo while looking at her face.

"You already know about me, Bar. Once you know who I am and what my real job is, I'm sure you won't be friends with me anymore." Flo lowered her face not daring to return Baruna's gaze. She knew Baruna would definitely look at her one eye, after knowing her profession as a night woman who was willing to show her aura to many people just to get some rupiah.

"Did I say something like that, Flo?" baruna.

"I know, my job is very despicable, Baruna. Surely everyone will look down on me."

"That's all you think, Flo. I don't think of you that way at all."

"I need a lot of money for my living expenses, Bar. That's why I'm forced to do this job" Flo said as she kept her head down. Suddenly there were tears in the corner of her eyes.

"Need money?" Baruna knitted both ends of her eyebrows.

Baruna then held onto Flo's shoulder and raised her chin and looked at Flo's blue eyes, which now seemed wet with tears.

"It's a very risky job for a girl as beautiful as you, Flo. You better stop being a dancer in that club today!" baruna. There was a sense of disbelief in his heart when Flo had to become an erotic dancer. Moreover, he now knows that the work was done Flo, with great force.

"If I don't work at that club, then where do I work, Bar?" Flo is back in tears. The compulsion was becoming clearer in the look on his face.

"I'm just a high school graduate. I've applied for a lot of jobs, but no company wants to accept someone who has no experience like me" Flo continued, revealing all her stories.

"I live a long time, Bar. I don't have a family. My dad's been gone a long time and my mom's been leaving me and my sister since I was a little girl."

"Then, what really happened between you and Diaz? Why don't you stay with him and you always say he's a bad guy?" ask Baruna. Feeling Flo has started to want to tell about himself, Baruna tried to pry things from Flo.

"My brother's life is so hard, Bar. He is the leader of a gang of criminals and troublemakers. He earned a lot of money in a way that was not lawful. That's why I don't want to stay with him" Flo said.

"Criminals plot?" Again Baruna frowned and rounded her eyes.

"Yes, Baruna. Me and Sister Diaz used to live together, we have no one. That's why we're used to living hard on the streets. Back when we were living hard lives like that, Sister Diaz loved me so much. But after being blinded by money, my brother became very ambitious. He even had the heart to sell me to the one who would give him a lot of wealth and power!"

Flo let out a deep sigh, more and more unbearable tears flowing down her cheeks. All the bitterness he told Baruna, made her look very sad.

Baruna rubbed her face. Hearing Flo's honest confession, her heart became filled. She realizes that Flo's life is so harsh, that it forces her to do a job she never really wanted.
