Bebegigs

Bebegigs
Chapter 47's

While looking at the lighter in Magenta's trembling hands, Yasa snorted, his eyes glistening triumphantly.

A bat came in from the window. The flapping of its wings extinguished the fire of the lighter in Magenta's hand.

The hut was again ambushed by complete darkness.

Magenta flicked the lighter again.

Not lighted.

The lighter's broken.

Frustrated, Magenta flicked the lighter again. This time it worked. A bright yellow flame was burning. Magenta again raised the paper in his hand near the flame.

Orange squealing and thrashing. "Don't!" the door to Magenta.

Magenta did not rub it, he continued to bring the paper closer to the flame.

Getting close.

It was so close that the flame finally licked the edge of the paper until it caught fire.

I heard a sigh of relief.

Suddenly Yasa chuckled and broke down. His laughter sounded dry and evil.

Magenta and Orange looked in horror and disbelief.

"No effect you want to read the mantra what not," Yasa scorned. Waving her hair behind her shoulders, she turned back to Orange.

The girl stiffened as Yasa got closer to the bed.

"Why, Honey?" Yasa leaned over at the side of the bed, leaning his body towards the orange. "You promised to be mine."

Orange shook her head with a pleading expression.

Magenta twisted his brain, trying to think fast.

Yasa's hair was waving on her shoulders, blown away as her face drew closer to that of Orange, her eyes seemed to be glittering, her pale skin was barely visible in the moonlight, already almost completely blackened, his lips smiled slanted.

Orange looked at his blackened lips. He remembered those kisses. What a lovely kiss.

It's hard to believe the beautiful kisses he's had with the most terrible creature he's ever seen in his entire life.

A creature he will never forget.

Its head and body are formed from the roots and tendrils of black-colored plants. His red eyes seemed flaming on his head that resembled the head of a snake-haired Medusa-head human, the difference between the hair of the root monster was formed from the tendrils of a plant. And his forked tongue protruded from his mouth full of pointed teeth.

It was hard to believe the monstrous figure was wrapped in a seductive handsome face that had captivated him for this one week.

How could such a monstrous creature be this handsome?

Yasa's face was getting closer to almost touching the face of Orange.

He was very handsome, he thought sadly. Although almost blackened.

The dark tendrils depicted on his face did not even diminish his good looks.

Too bad, thought bitter orange.

If I had known from the beginning, he recalled bitterly. If only I had believed in Magenta…

Kade Bebegig's!

Kade Bebegig, Anaking!

Bebegig mawa dodo.

The orange suddenly remembered the rhyme.

Instantly he felt as if he could hear his grandmother's soft voice, a voice he had not heard since he was five years old…

"But it rains Ngagelebug, komo wanci sambekala. Kade Bebeggig, Anaking! Kade Bebegig's! Bebegig mawa dodoja."

His voice sounded so close. Like coming from outside the window.

From outside the window?

Nah! Orange realized. He did not feel like he could hear his grandmother's voice.

He really heard it. He heard it clearly.

But that wasn't her grandmother's voice.

Magenta heard it too. He jerked his head to the side and looked towards the window.

And before they realize what's going on.

Orange gasped at Yasa, and saw his taper face begin to blacken entirely.

The tendrils wrapped around his body started to come apart. Then it spun around Yasa's body, spinning rapidly forming a black-colored vortex of wind.

The orange stared at him without blinking.

And while Magenta was stunned in horror, Yasa's scream pierced through the air. The longer it shrieked, then it turned into a howl.

The air in the room was filled with dark smoke smelling sour and sulfur.

Then slowly the dark vortex began to shrink and solidify. Then it subsides and stops.

A dark-robed scarecrow stuck in the middle of the room. His face was down under the hood of his head. Like a witch executed on a cross.

Magenta looked at the scarecrow in the middle of the room as if it were bewitched. With a blink of an eye, he could see that Orange was also glued there, his eyes wide open, his mouth agape with fear as well as amazement.

The moon, which was originally like a pale white plate, was becoming clearer, starting to glow golden.

A few moments later, the room became bright.

"You guys okay?" The sound of baritones outside the cottage jerked the Orange and Magenta.

"Father!" The orange slid towards the window.

Empu Brajasena grinned as she lifted the petromax lamp on the side of her shoulder. "Take those kids off!" his orders to Magenta.

Magenta was flabbergasted and exchanged glances with Orange, then the two turned back inside.

Anes, Reksa and Yasa, hanging with both hands stretched out tied to the skeleton of a scarecrow.

Their real faces had returned, but all three were unconscious.

Empu Brajasena placed the petromax lamp he carried on the window sill, then turned around to find the entrance.

While Magenta began to release Anes and Reksa, Orange stepped slowly toward the scarecrow in the middle of the room, where Yasa hung limply with his face bowed under the hood of his robe.

He was so handsome, he thought in awe. His face was taper and smooth white. Her lips are red, and her eyelashes are plump. His face looks like a female doll.

And body…

Her hair too…

Everything looks like a piece of elementary school kid.

He shrieks! the pekikin' in heart.

With his eyes and mouth rounded, he tried to look towards Anes and Muta.

They haven't changed.

"Why is he the only one who shrinks?" he pointed at Yasa.

"He didn't shrink, '" Magenta replied without turning his head. He was trying to lay Anes' body on the side of the body. "The real thing is!" he added while straightening his body.

"Huh?" Orange spontaneous flabbergasted.

Magenta tried to recover his breath before stepping closer towards the Orange. "Why?" ask her with a mocking smile. "You disappointed?"

Orange immediately fell silent.

Magenta smiled as he rubbed the girl's shoulder, "Joking," she said guiltily.

Simultaneously, Empu Brajasena appeared at the door.

The orange bursts into his father's arms while Magenta lowers Yasa.

"Where did Papa know I was here?" ask Orange.

"Ohooho! Papa is a great man!" kelakar Empu Brajasena, which was then responded to the thin nudity of Magenta.

Moments later, Orange and Magenta are already outside while Empu Brajasena is trying to resuscitate the three Magenta friends with her magic power.

And Orange quickly plopped down into Magenta's arms, clutching the man tightly, sticking his cheek against Magenta's cheek.

"Gen," he whispered, hugging, "i promise I won't say you're childish anymore!"

Magenta smiled as she gently stroked the orange hair. But don't say anything. Just lightly kiss the girl's forehead.

"Heeeh!" the grunts of the father of Orange shocked the two. "Look out!" he said that while raising the petromax lamp near his face as if trying to show that he was really angry, which automatically made Magenta blush even though he clearly knew the middle-aged man was not being really angry.

Three of Magenta's friends followed behind Empu Brajasena.

The orange gaze immediately turned towards Yasa.
