Bebegigs
Chapter 48's

Yasa, Reksa and Anes, still looked a little confused as they followed Empu Brajasena out of the hut, they were also still dressed in black Indian loose robes with a headscarf, at first glance the three teenagers looked like members of a certain sect ritual.

Orange approached Yasa with a misbehavior, a little shock found the height of the man was only limited to the Orange temple.

Yeah, God! thought. Is this guy really Magenta's classmate?

Suddenly he felt alien. He did not know the man who was now standing in front of him.

She's not the Yasa I know, he thought.

The little guy before her was not the Yasa she had known for this week at all. This yasa is completely different. Not because of her slightly disappointing height, but her observant gaze was like the pure highlight of a child's eyes, and the plain look on her face made Orange feel a little too old.

"Hi," said Orange.

"Hi," Yasa replied no less misbehaved. But his facial expression showed no sign that he remembered the orange. "I. Yasa" he introduced himself.

Orange smiled clumsily, then glanced at his father.

"She's my daughter," as if to read the concerns of the Orange, Empu Brajasena mediated them.

Of course he could read his daughter's worries.

He is a great man!

"He's going to school at your school!" Empu Brajasena added.

"Oh," muttered Yasa in response to Empu Brajasena, then turned back to look at Orange with a slight blush.

"I'm Orange," said Jingga finally, beginning to understand the situation.

Yasa smiled and bowed, then glanced at Magenta, hesitating slightly to discern whether he was dealing with the Deity or Magenta. He doesn't remember anything about gods.

But then Magenta smiled at her without saying anything.

You know that it is not a god. The goddess is not as calm as Magenta. Magenta does not include the usual count of friends bullying him.

"You all go home first" said Empu Brajasena. "I still have a little unfinished business."

Anes simultaneously exchanged glances with Reksa, then the two took a quick glance at Yasa as if worried that the guy would change at any time on the way home later.

As well as Orange and Magenta, they glanced at Yasa with the same suspicious look.

Yasa was unaware of everyone's gaze. He didn't even realize what had happened to him during the week. But he looks a little nervous. After all, he had returned to being his weak and timid self. He knew their journey might not be easy considering Anes and Reksa used to work on it.

Yasa glanced at Magenta with a worried look, then glanced towards Orange.

"Bring this!" the father said Orange while thrusting a petromax lamp towards Magenta. "Take my daughter home." He added, then looked up as a giant bat flapped over their heads.

Magenta smiled and nodded. Then take over the lamp and start walking.

The others were still unmoved, looking up at the dark shadows that were rattling around their heads.

Magenta followed the direction of everyone's gaze and let out a low.

Not bats! he realized. It was just a black-coloured paper kite yet looked alive. He glanced at Empu Brajasena with a questioning look.

The middle-aged man was still looking up watching the mysterious kite movements with his mouth twitching.

Suddenly the kite swooped sharply towards Yasa.

Yasa screeched while smothering his ears with palms.

Empu Brajasena tried to dispel the kite with the force of the wind coming out of his palm.

The sky sizzled out loud like a bat.

Everyone is screaming in restraint. They could see the kite's intact shape in the light of the petromax lamp in Magenta's hand.

Just a kite broke up! thought everyone.

How can it look so alive?

Ghostly paradise!

"Go away from here!" the Empu Brajasena's.

"Don't look back!" Empu Brajasena warned.

But as soon as he said it, Yasa spontaneously turned his head back and screamed. Then he fell down with a frightened face.

Empu Brajasena is wrestling with someone who looks like Magenta but has a broken face.

"Don't look back!" Empu Brajasena repeated his warning as Orange and Magenta almost turned to follow Yasa's gaze.

Yasa paled with a breath of breath.

Orange and Magenta finally grabbed Yasa's arms on his left and let the little guy walk.

Anes and Reksa had been squandering first in a hurry, running with the tip of the shoe tripping.

There was the sound of thunderous thumping around the abandoned hut behind them.

No one dared to turn his head despite the curiosity tickling them.

"You have nothing to do here!" the sound of Empu Brajasena blaring in the night sky.

Making the teenagers who are trying to climb the rock hill increasingly wracked with curiosity.

Empu Brajasena is struggling with a creature that can be called the ghost of God and also kite ghost, too bad they can not see the excitement.

They had all never seen the power of Empu Brajasena, only hearing from the stories of the old men. Even Orange.

He could hardly stop himself from looking. His curiosity was higher than the others. He hated it most when there was an unsolved mystery.

The more forbidden, the more curious he will be.

Then he looked up and screamed!

Not because he saw his father's struggle that was far enough from where they were but because of something else.

Now he knew why they were forbidden to look back.

But Yasa's experience wasn't enough to make the girl learn.

Now he cannot resist the curse of what he has broken.

Same as Yasa…

Now he knew why Yasa was so scared.

He saw many apparitions!

Many ghosts were milling around the forest, hanging from the trees, shuffling on the banks of the river, flashing in the dark corners.

And during that time he was not aware of screaming while smothering his ears. His consciousness sank as the number of sightings increased.

There was a white-robed night ghost sitting on a tree branch with hair dangling all the way to the ground.

There was a ghost of an old man dressed in Baduy with a caping on his head and carrying a hoe.

There was a ghost of a little boy running around and hiding behind the bushes while continuing to giggle.

There was a dreadlocked midget ghost that kept inching on the path.

There are many more ghosts that make hair bristling just by looking at it briefly.

Everything is almost unbearable by the Orange.

The aura cast by the apparition was a horror that exceeded the horror of the ghostly figures themselves.

The aura of horror was like stealing orange consciousness and making the girl feel like she was thrown into a dark world and realized she was alone.

There was no one there to call for help, no place safe to escape.

Till…

Desperation began to eat away at the orange.
