Bebegigs
Chapter 49's

In his despair Orange finally saw a speck of light from a distance, the white light gradually enlarging as he approached.

Gardapati appeared in that circle of light and howled.

The white wolf's shrill howl woke up the orange from its unconsciousness.

"You can't be banned!" his father's voice grumbled.

Then gradually the sight of the orange began to recover.

The first thing he saw was the face of his father, then the face of his mother, Magenta, Anes, Reksa and Yasa.

The orange gnawed and circulated the view with a confused expression.

Then they realized they were in his house. Everyone gathered in the living room, even Yasa whose residence was the furthest from their village.

What the hell's going on? The orange wondered in his heart.

Why are they all in my house?

And...how did they get there?

Orange could not remember how they went home in latitudes climbing up a slippery rock hill and crossing a cold river in the middle of the night by muttering someone who continued to rampage.

The orange does not know how difficult it is to walk with someone who is unstable in a narrow rod that on one side there is a steep cliff while on the other side there are plots of rice fields.

The orange did not know how far it was from the remote island to his home.

All that went through Magenta and his two friends who were conscious with full struggle, could be said to be bloody, while Jingga and Yasa continued to rampage along the way.

Lucky to reach halfway, Empu Brajasena managed to catch up with them after finishing his last affair with the ghost of Dewangga and his ghost kite.

Anes and Reksa dropped themselves on the sofa while panting.

Magenta let out a heavy sigh and sat on the floor on the side of the Orange, while Yasa was still lying on the other side of the girl.

Orange pulling sitting body assisted Magenta. Then he turned to Yasa who was still unconscious.

"Why him?" tanyanya surprised.

"Just like you," Magenta replied with a smile.

"Huh?" The orange turned to Magenta with round eyes and mouth. "Me?"

Magenta and his companions chuckled in response to the confusion of the orange.

"What am I?" Orange asked again, then glanced towards Anes and Mutual.

Magenta leaned over and brought his mouth closer to the ear of the orange, "You are possessed" he whispered with a cry.

Orange throbbing, do not accept himself possessed.

Ragnala let out a short sigh and turned towards the kitchen, then returned with a tray of hot chocolate cups and a plate of boiled tubers. Then put it on the table in front of Anes and Mutual.

Father Orange still bowed over Yasa's body, hovering his palm over Yasa's head.

"Buck!"

The soft muttering of Empu Brajasena jerked the entire room. All eyes simultaneously aimed at the middle-aged man wide-eyed.

Empu Brajasena let out a short sigh and shook her head. "His sight cannot be restored" he said.

"Sight?" Orange screeching restrained. Suddenly he remembered his terrible visions. "Did Papa mean he would still be able to see the sightings?"

His father nodded.

"Huh?"

Everyone is now flabbergasted.

"Me too?" Orange asked with a horrified look.

"That's okay?" urge Orange.

"Papa guarantee you will see no more sightings except…"

"Except what?" cut the orange impatiently.

"Except in certain situations" replied his father.

"What does a certain situation mean?" ask Orange again.

"For example, a related entity deliberately appears" his father explained. "Papa means, what you saw in the forest was not an apparition, but your vision was opened because of something. Papa told you not to look back!"

"I don't understand!" tukas Jingga—masih demands an explanation.

"To be honest Papa doesn't have the ability to see supernatural beings" said his father. "To be able to see the ghostly figure that Papa had to face, Papa had to cast a certain spell that could make them visible. That's why when you look back, you can see ghostly figures around Papa."

Magenta termangu listened to the explanation of Empu Brajasena. Anes and Reksa nodded as they muttered the omens they understood.

"That's why Papa said you don't have to worry about the vision anymore, you don't have the birth talent that allows you to have the ability to see supernatural beings" Jingga's father added. "You have no descendants!"

"Do you mean Papa's sight is irreversible?" Orange asked again while pointing towards Yasa with her chin.

"He's got a born talent!"

The entire room was suffocating stifled at Empu Brajasena's explanation.

"It's possible that this child has the ability to see supernatural beings that he was born with, but someone has sealed his ability." Father Orange continued. "Someone has closed his inner eyes with a certain incantation. And Papa unsealed it!"

"Huh?" The orange is back. And everyone else in the room.

"The spell." said Jingga's father hesitated. "The spell that can make invisible creatures become visible, is the opening mantra of the occult portal that can also open one's closed inner eye."

The entire room was dumbfounded in silence.

Then came the moans and murmurs slowly Yasa who began to roar.

Empu Brajasena asked Ragnala to bring him a glass of water.

Ragnala rushed to the kitchen and returned again with a glass of water.

Empu Brajasena recited something that only God and certain people with special hearing could hear. Then give the water to Yasa.

Yasa pulled his body while frowning, then received the water and drank it.

After which, Magenta helped Yasa up and led him to the sofa.

The entire room was now sitting on the sofa, listening to the babble Empu Brajasena addressed to Yasa. Describe the actual situation, and expose the worst possibility that Yasa would face after this.

Yasa looked anxious for a long time.

"But don't worry" Jingga's father added, patting Yasa on the shoulder. "I'll help you train your skills and direct where they'll be taken" he said, calming Yasa down. Either really sincere, either just the mode of trapping the successor.

After all a spiritual expert needed a disciple as a successor.

For the first time after he regained consciousness, Yasa finally smiled. Then glanced towards the slightly blushed orange.

Orange smelled his smile and bowed. A little uncomfortable considering what they've been through this week. Then glanced at Magenta with an intensity of probing gaze, as if trying to consider whether he would choose Yasa or Magenta.

But in the end he tried to get rid of that thought.
