DEMON GIRL LOOKING FOR LOVE

DEMON GIRL LOOKING FOR LOVE
A Hope

The doorbell rang as Legolas came out of the bathroom. The young man had just come home from work and instantly cleaned his body. Today he came home early because he felt very uninspired at work.

"How are you, Olas?" Bethany stood behind the door with a smile. In his hand was a large bag he was carrying.

"Mother? Why did you come here? Though tomorrow I plan to go to the orphanage and stay there until the new year." Legolas. "Come on ma'am." Legolas was carrying the bag Bethany was carrying.

"It turns out the contents of your house have begun to add a lot." Bethany said as she sat on the sofa. "Your new job seems promising."

"You're right, ma'am." Legolas replied while making drinks for his foster mother. "Why didn't you say it was coming? I'll pick you up at the stop."

"I want to surprise you." Bethany said as Legolas walked over to bring her a drink. "I thought I was gonna catch you with a girl in your house. You said you'd get married next year."

Legolas could only smile with a grim look at Bethany's words. All his plans have failed, and there is no way he will get married next year.

"What's wrong?" Ask Bethany who realized the change in the face of her adopted child.

"I'm going to go to college next year, so I'm going to push back on my marriage plans, ma'am." Legolas tried to smile to hide his sadness. "What's the matter when mom comes to see me? Tomorrow's my birthday, I plan on celebrating with my sisters."

"Therefore I came here. It's all a gift from your sisters, Olas." Bethany pointed to the bag she was carrying near Legolas.

"You shouldn't have brought him here."

"Actually your birthday was two days ago. You were born on Christmas." Bethany. "You were 21 years old two days ago. You came to the parlour when you were three days old."

Something feels weird for Legolas. The words of the woman who raised him sounded incomprehensible. How did her adoptive mother know she was three days old when she came to the parlour, and how did she also know that her birthday was Christmas?

One answer is certain, and one thought of by Legolas. Bethany already knew who her birth mother was, and maybe even they had met again because of that, her foster mother knew a truth about her date of birth.

"Tell me ma'am, how do you know all that? Do you know who my real mother is?" Legolas asked with a curious looking face.

"Actually when you last came to the parlor, your real mother came before you. He confessed everything to me about him putting you in front of the orphanage." Bethany replied with a bow at times because she was still wondering whether to tell Legolas the truth or not.

"Who is he? Where is he now? Tell me ma'am, I have to see him. He must have been lonely living alone all this time, and maybe his life was all short. I want to make her life better. I won't be mad at him for throwing me away. I understand his suffering."

Bethany became silent and looked at Legolas as the young man's words led her to discourage him from telling the truth.

"Why shut up, Mom? Tell me where is he?" Pinta Legolas is impatient.

"Olas, what if everything you think about him isn't true?" Look at Bethany seriously.

"What does that mean?"

"What if there's another reason why your mother put you in an orphanage?"

"What is the reason?" Legolas tried to think of another reason that might have been the reason his birth mother threw him away first. But he found no reason he could accept. "Say clearly, ma'am."

Bethany did not answer. The woman was very sure that Legolas would be very angry if he heard who his birth mother was.

"Edith Gringger." Bethany finally told me.

Legolas was really surprised to hear the answer to who his birth mother was. He never thought at all.

"Don't joke, ma'am." Said Legolas with reddened eyes, unable to resist his feelings thinking if he was really an unwanted child. "You're just kidding, right?"

"There's a reason why he put you in the orphanage—"

Bethany's words came to a halt as Legolas stood up from his seat. The young man's face looked extremely angry and mixed with sadness.

"It turns out I'm an unwanted child." Legolas said after that snorted in annoyance as he recalled all of Edith Gringger's treatment of him. "Therefore he kept being nice to me." Enraged Legolas while walking took the parcel Edith gave him as a Christmas present.

For a moment Legolas stared at the parcel. He understood why the woman came to see him at Christmas, even Edith also mispronounced merry christmas to be happy birthday to him. Legolas is also increasingly upset when he remembers Edith's reply, saying that he thinks of Legolas as his own son.

"Olas, you have to hear the reason first—"

"No need to ma'am." Cut Legolas with a fake smile. "I'll see him now."

...----------------...

In her very empty room, Lucia who was already wearing a red wedding dress sat hugging her legs while looking at the screen that was displaying Legolas at the moment. The girl became aware of the truth about Legolas's birth mother.

From the beginning Lucia felt that Edith looked a little like the young man she loved with the same hair color, even compared to Cedric, Legolas was more similar to his mother.

He misses Legolas very much. Legolas's face looked extremely angry and sad, making him feel very sorry for the young man. But there was nothing he could do.

Soon she will be married to Leviathan, and she will be unable to avoid her fate. He could not get out of hell without the fruits of life, even now he could not leave his room because a high level guard was standing guard at his doorstep.

"It's scarier than the thought of me melting into ashes." Lirih Lucia stared at the crystal music box she had placed on the floor before her.

Suddenly the door of his room opened, his best friend came with a laugh looking at Lucia's current state.

"Geez Lucia, you're getting married but you seem to be suffering a lot." Ejek Phoebe approached Lucia and sat down in front of her. "What is this thing?" Phoebe took the music box.

"Don't touch my stuff!!" Lucia snatched the music box from Phoebe's hand.

"Basic stingy." Phoebe Mumbles. "The show is about to begin, but God is not yet here."

"Hopefully He did not come so that I would not marry." Lucia said excitedly.

"All right, I'll give it to you." The door opened again and this time it was Lucas who appeared.

Lucia stood up to see her brother's presence. His words made the girl seem to have hope.
